In the 80's i kept hearing a certain amazing guitar style on different albums . Every time i looked up who the player was it ended up being Dann Huff . My favorite player . Thanks for posting .
A widely unknown American Treasure....I like the way he inspires, like he really wants you to step it up and go for it...you have the chance....take it...... I found him by being blown away by his acoustic playing on Selena's 'I Could Fall In Love With You"...I know, I know, it's not balls to the wall rock, BUT it is a great song, by a great young singer who's life ended tragically and way too early...Listen to it and hear Dann playing GREAT acoustic....I did not know who he was until I heard that song and had to find out who did the beautiful and intricate playing.
@missgotthard I thoroughly enjoyed watching this series of videos on your channel. Dann Huff is an extraordinary player and I thank you for sharing these with me.
I just love this stuff I was buying records in the 80s with guys like dan luke landau carlton ritenour robben ford dean parks the golden age which is sadly over today the mtv shit is full of posers with very little talent and loads of bullshit which makes me puke thanks missgotthard for sharing this awesome stuff true talent is here on youtube thank heavens!!!
@1shnookste I second that! You can hear in he's been inspired a bit by Lukather.. I even listen to more Dann Huff than Steve Lukather cuz i prefer Huff. However, they're both amazing musicians. The DVD is from 1992, same as their second album. Long live good music!
