I’ve heard the original and live performances many times but this version is hands down the best. Fantastic band and Dann Huff is a phenomenal guitarist
The only problem Giant had was that they simply started too late. Their flavor of rock was exiting the music scene just as they came around. By the time the 2nd album came out (Time to Burn) they were all ready to move into other things, especially Dann. Only some rabid fans in Europe have kept some semblance of the band alive. Dann and David grew up in a musical household, as their dad Ronn Huff was a renown arranger in Nashville. I met them back in their White Heart days when Dann owned 1 guitar, his Yamaha SG. Dann was already touring right out of high school for Bill Gaither. When he was with White Heart, he recorded some solo guitar work for Chris Christian. It might be out of print, but if you are a Dann fan, its at the CC Entertainment website. Both him and David are genuinely nice guys and what "glory" Dann didn't get via Giant or through his producing, he will get after he leaves this world.
Giant was the best hair rock band to not achieve the stardom that Def Leppard achieved. Period. The Huff brothers may enjoy the gratitude and respect of the artists that use them in recording sessions, but they deserve so much more.

The boy can pull some Chord can't he? The 80's and early 90's had some awesome stuff you never hear. Bands like Ratt,Dokken,Triumph, Asia,Hurricane,Giant,Bad English,to name a few.Huff is unreal with a six string!
My wife and I saw these guys open for Frampton back around 1992 @ Janus Landing in St Pete FL, they blew us away, so much so we bought their 2nd LP. We know every track of that record and consider that record to be classic rock and much missed music. What a rock band, period.
The unfulfilled promise of a major guitar solo at the end of the album version, faded out too quickly, comes to fruition here! Absolutely riveting!! Tremendous talent here, too few songs for their fans!
Saw this concert. Irvine Meadows. It was awesome. Really loud, Giant might've opened for Scorpions , Def Leppard- Foreigner? I just can't remember. Giant was awesome. Dan Huff!
Dann is awesome, but everyone seems to forget about the rest of the band. Dave is the best drummer I have ever seen live. I saw him way back in the day when he was Michael W. Smith's drummer. I was blown away, and that was back when Christian musicians were almost handcuffed and didn't let it rip. Heck, I saw three out of four of these guys with Amy Grant way back when.
Giant was insanely talented and ended way too soon! His shredding STILL rocks my world! The 19 people that thumbed it down, go back to your techno crap!
They’re underrated by the general population. Guitarists, myself included, look at both as being the guitar gods they are. They’re both incredibly creative, yet their styles are so distinctive, and different from one another. Both have their own language. Their own attacks and phrasing. I love both equally. And as I type this, with the video playing, Dann with the nice tapping run. The intro to this song is mind blowing good.

Many play sitting in the studio control room. Ive seen Phil Collen from Def Leppard doing this around the same time. Remember, people write and practice in their bedrooms as teenagers, sitting on office chairs or beds. It's about being comfortable and being able to access every hand and finger position easily, so being able to let your lap hold the weight of the guitar as you do your digital gymnastics. Standing up comes for when you've mastered the song, and of course on stage.
i see it's back online, i watch this over and over a few years ago, that guy saw how many hits he got, he took off the net, just let you know, it was me, great action
Watching and listening to Dann Huff play the guitar reminds me of Chris Cooper’s like in Jarhead. “Whoa! I just felt my dick move!” That’s some next level playing. Good Lord.
You know he get's the best out of the artists he produces now for the simple fear that he might whip out the guitar or mic and best them at thier own music.

Bad timing.
They debuted in 89 when Nirvanna and Grunge hit the scene.

Dann is incredibly talented guy. Most don't realize he's singer & lead guitar. The drummer is awesome too!
Ich liebe diese CD bis zum heutigen Tag und sicher auch noch viel länger! Einfach super!!
Loved Dan's work back in my guitar days. One of my favorites.

Dann Huff is such an underrated guitar player. Like Reb Beach (Winger). 😐😍😆

Ke espectaculo madre mia!!! ke grande es mister Dan Huff!!!!
GIANT FOREVER!!!!!!
...and then Nirvana came and blew up this beautiful music. Why?
#BecauseHeroin
Simple answer: It wasn't Nirvana as much as it was MTV deciding to radically switch gears on their format.

Hot Damn...they were so badass!
One thing I can't fathom...how in the hell can they stay sitting when playing this?
It begs for them to stand.

Dan Huff is every bit as talented as Steve.
