No Tom to go in goal for old times' sake. The J2 squad rules can be pretty brutal (only 4 foreign players, yikes) so I often find the youth system is a good thing to lean on in Japan, even if it's just for depth. When you get to a bigger club in Japan, it might also be worth scouting Europe a bit to see if you can bring some Japanese talent back home, think the likes of Mitoma, Endo etc.
The best you can get, by the time I’d move club I could probably have had all my badges just from asking for them + I think it’s quite reasonable in the J2 League. Maybe if we had gone to a smaller club we would’ve started with less. I‘be found it doesn’t make a lot of difference to what you do.

I wish we had Tom in these team, but maybe we can find our own Japanese version of the great striker...
What badges and playing experience did you start with?
