I would imagine that you have seen just about every Minn Kota service problem. In fact deep into your video you explained how the motor can wind up in its cradle in a vertical position but with knowhow, there is a way to rectify this problem. Well, I am the benefactor of your vast experience and can thankfully say," I fixed it using your methods." Teaching is an art and you are a true artist!.
As an Ulterra owner, I have also ran into my share of "moments" with this motor. This is the best video for trouble shooting that I have watched on RUclips. Thank you very much...
As an Ulterra owner for close to six years, I have run into my fair share of "moments" with this unit. This is the best video for trouble shooting and then conducting a reset that I have watched on RUclips. Thank you!
Wow I learned a lot! Mine got jostled in Hurricane Milton and doesn’t want to lay down. I saw it trying so gave it a light pull, and it laid down. Any ideas as to how to smooth it out?
This was a great video with good tips. Perhaps you could me with a motor that is stuck in the “stowed” position. The motor got deploy while still in the transport brace.
Hi Pockey - our minn kota was stuck in between the holder on the stow position and tried to pull the housing trim unit so that we can push the pole and the motor out but was unable to, any suggestion how can we remove this from the in between holder, the motor as sitting in 90 degrees position with the fan facing upward - need help and assistance as every time we bring this to the boat shop it always cost us more than 1000 - that is every time we have an issue we are here in darwin, northern territory - thanks and I appreciate it
@@TheSuperdaytona500 How did you managed it to get it back, I am in the NT, Australia and there is no Authorize Service Provider here, I was told by MinnKota in the US to bring it to the MinnKota Authorize Service Provider, means bringing it in to the BOAT shop and every time we have to bring it in it causes us to SPEND more than 800 Australian dollars, we have been there few times and this time we are a bit hesitant but we have no choice!
I have a brand new 36V Lithium battery. I was out a couple days ago and my battery ran out of juice and my trolling motor was stuck deployed. I made it home, charged the battery and was able to stow it. Now, it won’t deploy and I get an audible beep from the iPilot and a red and green flashing. I’ve taken it all apart and cannot figure out what’s going on. The cam arm is good and no obstructions on the shaft. Any ideas?
Wow.....Something as simple as losing power can cause this headache to a nearly 3000 dollar trolling motor? If I get one of these, I guess I've got some studying to do if I wanna upgrade from my Terrova.
Best Ulterra troubleshooting video anywhere. You the man!

Great Help! These units are great when they work properly, but frustrating when they don't.

That was great. All the problems I had today I now know a lot more about. Thank you!
Got bless you. Thank you. (from Russia)
