Might try to check the USShift connections for continuity/power. I had to solder the blades on the connector for better connections. Not sure if trans case or USShift connector was the problem but I was getting low volts on passenger side of case. "71" bronco, mild build 351W, 2000 explorer 4r70 and (I believe stock 2000 rpm) tourque converter.
