I did the rainbow fish recommendation and you are so right. Some people have concerns of them being too darty, but the angelfish don’t seem to mind. They generally don’t even acknowledge the rainbow fish’s existence.
Great! I feel better about my plans for my next tank. Some people say you shouldn't have a blue acara with angels. I was thinking of one of each, a big school of diamond tetras, and some type of cory.
Very helpful. I am in the beginning process of starting to stock my new 75 g tank. I have two young pearl gouramis. 1&1/2" geophagus topajos who is in quarantine tank (showed ick spots and now bulging eye, one more than the other) so do not know if it will make it. I would then like to add a koi angel as another centerpiece fish. I like the idea of the rainbow fish. I love the Denison barbs but man are they fast. Some say they can stress an angel out a bit with their high activity level. I like the idea of an electric blue acara as well. Always appreciate others sharing their experiences so thank you to all:)
Kribensis are very protective parents and fast swimmers. Anything that gets even remotely close to their fry gets chased off immediately for the first 3 weeks. They will even kill fishes in order to protect their young and they may bite you in the arm if you dare put it in the aquarium when they have fry. I have about 40-50 fry in my 60 gallon aquarium at the moment that are about a month old now and at least 6 tetras are gone so far. Kribensis are peaceful fishes when they don't have fry but they certainly don't fool around when it comes to protecting their fry during the first couple of weeks or until their fry are about 1/2" in size and can fend for themselves.
Super video. Great how u told me what to use in each level for a 37 tall that I will be setting up. I would love to see someone do a video on how fast or slow to stock the tank. Do u get all the top layer first. Do I get the one Angel I plan on last?
I would think kuhli loaches are too fast and all over the place, like corydoras? I just doubled my school of kuhlis to 6 and they spend hours surfing up and down one of the front corners of the 100 gallon, bouncing off whoever gets in their way, lol! I suspect they will go full nocturnal if they get bullied by the 7 angels? I have 3 juvienile electric blue acara and a juvenile geophagus tapajos in my 100, too. That's the combo, I'm really watching closely!! Thanks for a great video!
Blake baby great video as per usual.... I have a nightmare female golden angelfish called Gertrude, shes bloody awful but I kinda lovd her, she lives in her own big tank, but I feel sorry for her, your video gas given me some great ideas, so ThanQ man.....plus she has white sand, I was wondering if my 3 wee panda Corey would be ok with her and ok with the sand...they are currently residing in a community habitat at the moment with gravel.....take care man..🏴
I'm a beginner and didn't know angel fish are cichlids. I recently got 2 of them for my community tank. I will soon be removing the 6 neon tetras. Also they don't show any signs of aggression.
As a solo fish they are great! I had one in a rainbow and angelfish community tank for ages. One day it started digging up plants for fun/ to annoy me though so got a few more and moved it to a breeding tank
I have 5 congo tetras, 5 albino corydoras, and 7 rummy nose tetras in my Angel tank only 1 female angel at the moment as the male Angel is in time out at the moment for being a bully to his mate. Do you think I could add 1 female Kribensis? They look awesome. Its a 160litre tank full planted.

I've the same angels as the ones in your video. the awesome fish.. Great vid
Yes those are 10 great angelfish tank mates! keep up the good work!

Great video Blake, and quite excellant timing! I was actually thinking of getting some angels to grow out and possibly breed. Thanks mate👍🏻🙂
Great list, Blake! Brought several species to my attention! Thanks!
Awesome! Thank you!

Great list mate. Some perfect suggestions for Angel tankies there.
🙌 cheers mate

Those are all pretty awesome choices 😄👍
Thank you 😁

Rainbow fish are awesome with everything

My denison barbs are fin nipping my veiltail angelfish so i dont think they work will with that type angelfish
What tetras did you show I'm this video? Loved this video BTW very informative 👏
Those were ornate tetras 😄
Awesome..
I plan to get Denison barbs but I hear it’s recommended to get a power head… would that make it uncomfortable for my angel fish??
How do the Blue Acaras go temperament wise with the Angel Fish?
As a solo fish they are great! I had one in a rainbow and angelfish community tank for ages. One day it started digging up plants for fun/ to annoy me though so got a few more and moved it to a breeding tank
Love the info mate! Would the barbs go alright with Congo’s? Looking for stocking ideas for my 500L tank
Hmm might nip up those fins. Risky, id only do it with a backup plan or a huge group of the barbs
@@BlakesAquatics Righto sounds good. Might just settle for the barbs and a school of bosemani. Good contrasting colours. Thanks bud! 👍
Plus it would work out to be a more cost effective, active and colourful fish.
What type of angle fish is the best to get and should I get a male&male, female&female, or male&female?
Looking at putting large school Lemon Tetras with my Angels what is you opinion
Great option!
Since my Bolivian Ram 'came of age' hse started bully my Angel and I had to move my Angel out, so be careful with Rams and that was a 4ft tank.
When I had German rams the Rams would nip them

yeah I reckon. the only risk is that the krib might terrorise some plants if you have fine leaved plants.
👍👍👍
👍👍
👍
Can I put them with silver dollars?
Yeah should be ok
Yesssssss! First
🙌
😁hi
