Angels and Gold Severum, would they be good tank mates. I always thought it would be cool to have an angel tank with a couple of gold severums, a few rams, and either corys or clown loaches. Thoughts?
I’ve heard the Denison barb like higher flow, which can be a problem for the angelfish because of their build. Any tips for creating a happy medium or will the Denison be okay without a wavemaker ?
I have a question for you and the question is out of all cichlids which is your favorite and why and I am asking because out of all the cichlids the freshwater angelfish are my favorite and the reason why is because when I was in my early teens I had a fish tank and I had a lot of fish’s in it at different times like I had Bala and red tailed black sharks, zebra danio, tinfoil and tiger barbs, neon tetra, goldfish, Suckermouth and Glass catfish, swordtails, Mollys, Platys, a three spot gourami, an African dwarf frog and a freshwater angelfish and like in the tank the gourami was the longest living of the fish that I had and I called it the godfather but when I had the angelfish I really loved it because it was like I had a living angel that made me feel safe and I had an angel that I would pretend to talk to.

If you ever happen to visit Denmark, I would recommend visiting the place that George Farmer went to, especially because of its built-in filter system in the background, which requires no maintenance or cleaning whatsoever. The filter has been running for over 8 years without any cleaning or maintenance. If you haven't seen his videos about it, I've taken the liberty of linking the one where George Farmer visits-he's been there twice. There are only two videos where he talks about the background filter in English, but maybe you can find them in Danish with subtitles. He also never cleans the substrate, as it's not necessary. Is a back sump suitable for a 183-liter Malawi cichlid aquarium, or is a canister filter better?

They’re fine without wavemakers. Angels are also fine with flow
