0:15 imagine you’re warming up for front squats and juiced up Harry Potter approaches you with 185kg over his head breathing hard
Yessss looking forward to the Ilya clean and jerk!
Love these analyses by a top level expert. 🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴
good job Gabriel !!! best review so far because you analyzed frame by frame and explained every single step perfectly so we can understand the little and sometimes neglected parts that professionals look at!!! keep up the great work !
I loved it when you told Clarence he was slow 🤗😂😂😂
Gabriel, thanks for sharing your insight on typical positions & form and Clarence's unique style.
A very good analysis. Fascinating.
Great expert analysis
Here to help the YT algo :) nice review, short, precise, without unnecessary stuff
Awesome Video Gabriel! I really enjoy these!
Your explanations are very helpful. Keep up the good work.

Great vid

Gracias, agradezco con el alma este vídeo. Great legends 💪
Nice, would like to see video for 225kg C&J too.
great content Gabriel. do you still coach Eoin or Clarence? would be great to see analysis of Viktor Getts snatch:)
Could you review Taiwan women weightlifter Kuoh Sing Chun lifts. Her coach said he incorporates Russians and Chinese style.
Hey Gabriel, my height is 183.5 cm but my wingspan is almost 203 cm. Is it okay if i lift more with my back in start position?
Its normal to do so, cuz you probably have long legs too, if you dont bent a bit more your knees will get in the way during the first pull. Not an expert btw.
Amazing video! Would you do Clarence's clean and jerk review?
Nice review !
Loved the video
Oh man great analysis maybe for the end of the video you can have a split screen explaining the things done well and the areas of improvement or recommendations for technical improvement like here you said he had full hand contact on catch descended quickly and had straight arms in the extension not pulling with arms you could have that in green and in red slightly narrower feet grip to end / green jump feet out to side to fix. Bar out in front because had to run to catch i think you said it was due to lower bar height than normal. You could do it as a summary at the end with pros and strengths of the technique and give a few lifters who you know who have similar styles as an end summary it would be pretty great like showing side by side comparison or even just another video imbedded into it for comparison. Those small changes are great especially with your expert opinion and analysis would triple or quadruple the vid views
Now you should analyze his 190! 🙏🏼
sounds good
Another great video Gabriel.
I noticed I also have a narrow stance from start position to the catch, should I move my feet out wider ?
For me the lower start position feels better, idk why (btw I'm a beginner and a 190 cm tall boi). I'd like to hear your thoughts on this 🗿
2nd pool has to be extend to prevent walking forward. or extend when barbell overhead? good analysis gabi.

"This was a poor demonstration of strength."
3:55 Can you explain again why you show the tall snatch? What is the point about extension you are making here?
@@gsincraian Yes I am a little confused. Is the strappo lento shown at 3:57 an example of fully extending the knees (so an interruption in the second pull and turnover)? Also, what is the purpose of the tall snatch/strappo lento drill?
are u supposed to lose the hookgrip in the turnover or keep it, it seems while trying to learn snatch i always kept the hookgrip naturally, not thinking about losing it after/during turnover but i read sth vom catalyst athletic that said most people should lose it?
Gabriel and all - do you think that Clarence doesn’t extend his legs fully since he’s so focused on getting under fast? He seems like one of the fastest lifters because of that but maybe by extending he would lose too much speed and it wouldn’t work
Kinda, Pliesnoi talks about that in a video with Oleksiy
@@gsincraian I may have missed it - I thought you said that Clarence could work on extending his legs more and even get to 200kg snatch. I am wondering if you think the tradeoff of getting under the bar faster vs less extension is worth it for Clarence specifically.
@@DaniClaps could you link me that video?

Does someone who knows a lot about weightlifting know if Clarence is better at the snatch or clean and jerk?
Im pretty sure Clarence has said he is better at snatching and when it comes to clean and jerk his clean is very strong but I thinks he's said his jerk has always been a bit more of his weak point in the lift.
Hahaha just i wanna leave this comment as a support, keep going and thx ❤️
0:04 Gabriel looks very flattering in every selfie he is in.
Hey Gabriel, if Clarence competes do you think he can keep this total while passing drug test?
No.
*LOL*
Nope.
depends on what country he is competing for 😉
