    Great stuff. 35 years old I've worked my way up to snatching an empty bar. Wish I had started weightlifting when I was younger. It's fun!

I always thought Kuo was nearly perfect technique wise, I never fully understood why she missed lifts here and there, you have a very good eye at seeing those errors and pointing these out will help me refine my technique aswell!

    Gabriel honest question that I hope you will be able to answer: My left middle finger is longer than my right one anywhere from 3mm to 5mm, at super low weight hook grip works perfectly but at under 6-8rm my right one always rolls first to such a large degree that I virtually can't stop it. Is there anything I can do about or will I have to deal with it?

      I would do the snatch pull without the thumb. Then the same grip with clj, and snatch

      @@meruem6995ujjoooo before I tried pulling hook I used pronated with the thumb so that it very slightly presses it diagonally. It's my preferred grip but I can't tell if that's because I have the most experience with it or not

      Your thumb will be locking in the middle of your middle finger. A 3~5mm difference in your middle finger is negligible. lol

I hope this doesn't make a real difference just wanted to know for sure because it felt safer in my left to such a larger degree, maybe it's sheer forces, maybe its bad set up Ion know

    great explanation, what happen if a woman with regular or big boobs wants to try weighlifting, she couldn't bring the bar close enough in chest zone, what does she has to do? there are specific exercises

    • @madworld109
      @madworld109 3 года назад

      I'm sure you'd just have to adjust the technique slightly to accomodate. Sarah Robles from US talked about it in one of her IG stories. Actually if I recall she was talking about the belly being in the way. She said that she has to get "extra tall" and shoulders have to come back slightly more in full extension, in order to get clear of the bar coming up. I'm sure for women with bigger chests, it would be the same
