Bullet time always seemed like an instinctive ability that came about as Neo focused harder and became more powerful. Bullet time was an expression of the fighters speed and strength. It never came across like an on - off switch until this film
@@CabbageYe No, its not. Bullet time means camera angle change,so move around the scene at a normal speed while events are slowed down. Exactly what you had in M1-3
@@RichyRich2607 No, actualy it is bullet time in this case. That term is been used in games after the Matrix, like Max Payne. So they refere it like that in the movie. In Andersons game the Matrix probably used the term bullet time to describe the mechanic. But yes in the first movie especially it wasn't a term, or a switch as mentioned above, but rather to show the audience how much faster Neo is, like the agents
The complete lack of tension was what got me. The shoehorned story to justify why Neo is back in The Matrix is bad, but I can push past that. But I never once understood the stakes, nobody was ever in any real danger. The original had a sense that humanity scraped and hid to survive in the depths, and that the Machines were dangerous and all-powerful. There was none of that in this film. Shit, when Team Expendable stepped forward to answer Bad Makeup Pinkett Smith's call to action I laughed to a colleague at the press screening "Oh, here are the non-namers to die in the big battle." Nope. Does anyone die in this movie that isn't a faceless extra fighting our plucky heroes? I'm not saying you have to slaughter the cast for drama or tension, but I've never seen so many fights without even the slightest sense of a rising danger for the protagonists. And when Discount Peter Pan shows up with The Lost Boys, who the fuck were they? Was this a callback from 2 or 3 I just forgot? The bad cover of "Wake Up" at the end encapsulates this movie perfectly. I already know all the words, it's kinda like something great from the 1990s, but in the end, why does this exist and why wouldn't I just stick with the original? At least they didn't shit on Neo like the Star Wars sequels did to Luke Skywalker. If this movie felt like a bad fan fiction sequel/reboot to The Matrix, at least it was fiction written by people who were fans of the original movies.
@@Booneface You know why you basically never hear bands do covers of Rage Against the Machine? Because it will almost always be a losing proposition. To quote the lyrics themselves: "It'll never come close to the rage built up inside of me." Those guys were legitimately (and justifiably) angry, that emotion comes out so distinctly in the performance, and you can never repackage that. I had joked to the same colleague during the final scene "Is this where we go to credits to Rage Against the Machine?" and then I heard that cover start and was immediately "Oh no, they wouldn't..."
I noticed that too. I don't think a single character died in this. Not even the machine allies. No dramatic sacrifice, no betrayals and definitely no resurrections.

Lol IF Lana fuckin Wachowski thinks she's being clever by having her characters speak certain truths (through the movie) to us fans and the audience, in the hope we listen or something then she has another thing coming. She should have made a fuckin great movie from the start and if the greedy WB studio were being corporate-controlling with her, then she should have simply told them to fuck off and walk away from the project!
@@killzorrkillsall1953 I actually believe you, i think both "Wachowskis" pretended to be Trans cause they knew as two "White Dudes" in "woke", "metoo" era Hollywood right now, they would stop getting work, and that's why they've played it up. Only the Larry/Lilly "Wachowski" has been finding it hard pretending and that's why he/she has needed some time away from the industry.
This video proves what Bugs was saying - they wanted Matrix to be an MCU film In other words, dumbed down garbage with guns but they didn't do that hence bad movie Or a movie that is more intelligent than them ANOTHER possibility lol
Agreed. Or at least if both of the wachowskis written and directed, we might have had something decent. Maybe on revolutions level. Only one of them signed on the movie is half the vision.
One of the biggest kicks in the teeth for me, was the fact that Smith kept calling Neo “Tom” instead of Mr Anderson. The reason for this…Calling Neo “Mr” implies a male gender. In a movie that is rolling gender neutrality and non-binary bs up into a little ball and shoving it down your throat. This movie should have been called Matrix: Woken Up
They turned the mighty Neo into a Simp guys. He was dazed and confused the whole way through, on the other hand Trinity wakes up and instantly is kicking ass haha. Neo also lost his flying ability yet Trinity gets it. neo is basically bossed around by every woman character in the film. He's just a look how woke this film is plot device, that's all. I mean can't have him kicking ass and pushing that "Toxic Masculinity" now can we? But the women can kick ass, that's ok.

Anyone else spot the middle finger aimed right at us in the scene where Neo's sitting in his office? It's on the shelf with the Matrix collectibles. This movie was a giant middle finger to the Matrix fans.
It was definitely meant for the fans. Studio heads don't give a crap about collectibles and memorabilia. It's as if this movie was created out of spite.
The depressing aura im feeling from you guys is exactly how i felt within the first 10 minutes of watching the movie. I couldn't even watch the whole movie in 1 day. We had to keep stopping because it was physically painful. lmao.

It could've been so much better if they didn't do the whole first movie rehash idea. They should've brought Neo and Trinity back but carry on from the third movie not go back to the beginning
So what I was told was had happened was WB propositioned the Wachowskis for another Matrix film and whether they'd be interested, but made no bones about the fact that there WAS going to be another Matrix film, whether the Wachowskis were involved or not. So one of them made sure to get in on it for at least some semblance of damage control... but I don't think they really had much power to change anything, as evidenced by the final, thoroughly mediocre and frankly boring final product.
Watched it with my wife last night. She's a huge Keanu Reeves fan and we went to the midnight showings of Reloaded and Revolutions back in '03. The whole time watching this steaming pile of garbage, I kept looking over at her and saying "are they serious with this??"
I'm think the new "bullet time" is basically the Analyst allowing himself to operate faster than everything else. The Matrix is a program, it operates at the speed humans think. But machines think a lot faster than humans. Computers can solve problems faster than our squishy organic brains. When the Analyst activates "bullet time," he changes how fast the program runs, at least for him. That's why Smith can negate bullet time, he's a program too, so he can run as fast as the computer is capable of.
Not that I want to defend this movie but I’m pretty sure it’s only Smith that can do it since he’s an invasive virus in the program, so if the Analyst can do it he can as well; that said he just disappeared after that scene so it’s a moot point anyway
Nice theory. But the whole point of the originals was that Neo was able to level the playing field, he could move as fast as the agents could, be as strong as there were because the matrix had rules. Rules that he could bend, and eventually break as 'The One'.
@@baddunwell2306 This is a new Matrix, not the same one from the original trilogy. You caught that, right? Do you also remember from Reloaded that the machines anticipated the One and had a measure of control over him?
This gave me a reason to rewatch the original trilogy, Neo only used guns in the 1st movie. FYI, I loved 1 & 2. Watching 3 felt like a chore, most of 4 also felt like a chore.

The tone is very off, as soon as the Morpheus clone started laughing at the beginning when Bugs pulled him from the agents I was pulled right out of the film and seriousness of the subject matter. I give this one a 5/10, it had some moments
Little info : The "old" Morpheus died in the Matrix MMO, during the movie they show an effigy of him and talk about it's last days but "new" Morpheus is NOT the same guy. He is more like a painting of the old one that gained conscience.
Out of all the recent films going heavy on nostalgia feel…the Star Wars sequel trilogy, Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Matrix 4 handled and played it better than most.
The whole movie feels like some studio exec's walked into an office full of Gen Z interns, and told them they had a week to write and film a 2.5 hour long skit about the Matrix.
Yeah but it’s not even that hard to make another matrix I don’t understand how it bombed so hard Lazy writing? I wonder 💭 if the executives rushed it out really quick not caring if they bombed a great series??? I mean there was pretty much endless amount of acient lore in the matrix you could have discovered I mean I wouldn’t even have minded going back to a old program of the nightmare matrix staring a younger marovigian that would have been pretty awesome there’s lots they could have done I haven’t seen the flick yet but sounds like it was really really bad movie 🎥
@@AwesomeNossum86 He was a walking Terminator in the first film. The 2nd and 3rd he was already The One so he didn't really need them but he still touched them lol
He didn't in 2 or 3 either. It's actually a really smart nod/hint to Trinity joining him as the one since she doesn't touch a gun either. It's a really smart sequel when you let it soak in and move beyond wanting matrix 1 over again.
The advance in technology was a big problem for me. Horror movies often have to go out of their way to disable a cell phone. This movie needed to go out of its way to bring phones back. Exiting the matrix so easily removes all tension.

Can this be the format going forward? AJ - Game reviews Alex - Gaming news OJ - Movie reviews I liked OJ leading the discussions in this one and want him to do it more.
AGREED!!! It was so nice to have some degree of calmness and consistency. It’s okay to rip on bad movies, but sometimes AJ just yells and pops off into a different area out of nowhere.
The machines had a fight between themselves and that was only mentioned for a second. That could have been the movie! The machines fight themselves and the humans need to rescue Neo from the battle field.
Exactly. Granted with the existence of social media and Facebook attempting to push the Metaverse, I can see someone making a good movie exploiting these times. But that requires somebody who has their act together with talent and self-awareness, which doesn’t exist in Hollywood.
Legendary fight Choreographer Woo Ping Yuen was behind the other Matrix movies incredible fight scenes , the fight scenes in this movie were such a let down… it didn’t have that Hong Kong feel to them at all .. Woo Ping Yuen is such a master at his craft!
Basically, everything was off. On another RUclipsrs review, I commented the original was revolutionary, they said I was wrong. That's why I hate social media.
@@justinstoll4955 the original inspired so many filmmakers and it’s influence was everywhere. That’s true weather you like the first movie or not. You were right lol.
If you want your story to have Agent Smith, get Hugo Weaving. If he can't or doesn't want to do it, *create a completely different character.* For me, this is up there with having anyone other than Michael Ironside play Sam Fisher.
@@kylebaugess6611 He was filming the Lord of the Rings tv show I heard. They had huge issues leaving New Zealand and moving to England. I still think John Wick 4 and Matrix were meant to connected, but the "Pandemic" changed the plan. The both movies were meant to be released the same day originally. And Laurance Fishbourne is reprising his role as the bowery king in John Wick, but not Morpheus.
I was pissed when I played the last Splinter Cell, not hearing Michael Ironsides voice as Sam, but it came out a couple of years ago, Michael done an interview said he was sick with cancer and couldn't perform, he gave his blessings for that game. So I eventually came to terms😅
Not sure about that because in the matrix reloaded and revolutions there was this guy in zion that mimics hugos acting of agent smith almost flawlessly.
As much as I trashed this movie the first time because I was on my reboot fatigue phase I think this movie isnt nowhere near a bad as people making it.
No surprise to me , I watched Keanu reeves interview about this movie and he literally was shocked about how they made it. He said the fight scenes weren’t rehearsed at all and he said that’s very unusual cause the last matrix movies rehearsed many many times before actually filming. He said in this movie they didn’t rehearse shit and just recorded like wtf who does that. Idiots ruined the matrix cause this movie could have been so good.
@@danbaz13 The problem was we didn’t have the Wachowski Brothers at the helm. Those guys rocked. Instead we had a single Wachowski with an identity crisis single handedly destroying the franchise.
Like I said, cuz they didn't care about the movie anymore. Now that they're sisters instead of brothers they had to make "the one" be a woman. Wow that's a lot of money to blow on self serviance
@@MotoMatt418 I completely agree, this farce of a matrix film just single handedly destroyed any possibility of a real director coming in and rebooting one of the most loved franchises. It’s sad
It’s sad watching these “ultra woke” teens and early twenties kids trying to act like this movie has some deeper plot that we aren’t getting haha. The plot is lazy and you get it within the first thirty minutes of the movie and the next two hours are just a sad cash grab filled with constant call backs to the originals. It’s not deep it’s just a bad movie simply made for money.
Personally I thought Resurrections sucked ass, but if you just see it as a cash grab you are clearly not getting it. Lana made a movie that has so much subtext about transitioning between genders like she did herself, that it almost hits you in the face. The movie uses so much of the framing of the original, but focuses on a single part of the journey, Neo finding out who he is, much like a transperson is forced to. It becomes clear that he and Trinity are made to be almost one connected person. One can’t live without the other, but by the end Trinity is the stronger more dominant force, as in the feminine side wins out. There’s a lot of talk about how people see you, vs who you really are, also an obvious analogy to transpeople yet to come out. And the end credits use literally the same Rage Against the Machine song as in the original, but song by a women to signify that the transition is complete. Like I said I wouldn’t call it a good movie, but it’s clearly not just a cash grab. Lana got free reins and made something quite personal.
I agree that the movie is bad but the original was also "woke". The directors are literally trans and the movie is an allegory for that feeling transgender people have. Idk what's wrong with AJ's audience in being super weird about "wokeness"
OMG! Other Joe just stepped up to the plate and smashed it! Well done! I always tend to agree with Alex on most of his points, and the discussion with just the two of them is a good change once in a while.
Thanks for this OJ and Alex, now I know the movie was as bad as I expected. Also, I really enjoy AJ's personality, so don't get me wrong, but OJ and Alex are simply a great duo. AJ's loudness and tendency to interrupt is why I don't watch many angry movie reviews or news videos anymore. I get that the guys have a natural dynamic as friends and that's fine off-cam, but it's too loud and erratic on-cam for my taste. Angry reviews are where AJ really shines, and I hope too see more of the traditional ones with him as host next year, with all the usual jokes, parodies and bloopers.
Did anyone actually expect this to be remotely good? Reloaded was seriously flawed, and 3 was unwatchable. One of the Wachowskis didn't even return for this one! And no Laurence Fishburne? Get outta my face!
What kills me is that there’s some things I really like conceptually, particularly the bits with the machine civil war, yet it gets botched or glossed over so badly. I would have greatly preferred dealing more with the machine conflict than this weird flashback stuff that kept popping up. Also, one part that bugged me, when the new “Smith” playing Anderson’s boss is monologuing at the window like OG Smith…how did Neo recall this? The only person that listened to this speech was the original Morpheus when he was captured by the agents.
I think the movie is "good," just needs a little more polish when it came to story. However, it doesn't get away with criticism. For me, the story was confusing especially the first 30 minutes. I feel like the way they explained the story in the wrong way: They spent the first hour of the film trying reconcile Anderson's (Neo's) reality. I say touch on this for 30 minutes, and keep the story going. I don't mind the battle between today's "Smith," and today's "Neo." And, the battle between "The Analyst," and "Neo" was interesting. Almost intense. I feel like they're setting up "The Analyst" and "Neo" for the next Matrix film. Since Neo doesn’t have his powers at 100% NOW. Trinity has Neo's powers from Matrix Revolutions, despite dying before Neo.
I think the trick to this movie is its implying everything was in Neo's head, he wrote all of it, and this movie IS the 4th game. We live the 4th game through the movie, just as we did the previous 3 (unaware that we are watching the game). That's why all the silly shit that is suggested through the montage comes to fruition in the movie. It doesn't rescue the just general poor movie making, but it does at least introduce a new way to watch the movie and appreciate what they are trying to do.
My brother wanted to go an see this movie cuz he was a HUGE fan of Matrix when he was younger, and holly fuck i never seen him so disapointed :S, after we got out the teather, we decided to go watch Spider-Man No way home for a third time just so we can wash off what we just saw xD
The Matrix is an interesting universe with so many possibilities. They could have covered any of the previous 5 Ones, or the Machine War that led to the creation of the Matrix. A missed opportunity, just like Terminator with their future war.
Yeah... wtf is wrong with Hollywood so devoid of talent these days. We need a new Hollywood that isn't afraid of hurting someones feewings. I swear these people are more afraid of hurting someones feelings than actual physical violence i nthe streets of our cities!
Looking at the production the Wachoskis never wanted the story to continue but WB was gonna do it without them and it looks they took that and one of them did it anyway and made a thought provoking parody like they knew they wanted it to be pretty bad especially that ending with the gender swap "the one" and that line "bye." Wtf its like looking at that way i enjoyed it better
@@NoMansLand98 I'm sure it did. They knew people would go see it. It's the matrix after all. No need to like try or anything like that. Give us your money nerds. How it felt lol

The action scenes are so lazy and cheap, it's bothersome watching it really. Remembering the action scenes in Reloaded and Revolutions, where they broke the rules and went crazy with it (even with the dated CGI), this is just embarrassing. This movie shouldn't have been made.
It is just like a musician. They can have one song you really like, that doesn't mean you have to like the rest of their catalogue. Movies are a personal experience like pretty much all forms of artistic expression. I do appreciate the sheer effort, amount of work and craftmanship that goes into making any movie, no matter the budget or what my opinion of its quality. Plus the pressure you would have to endure whilst making the thing is something that I personally would not be able to stand for even a week.
I did like how Neo got plugged into the matrix again, and was lost. That had a lot of potential to me and was kinda rushed. imagine if morpheus and all the people who already escaped somehow fell back into the matrix, all of them discovering they are in and trapped... whatever. You get what i mean.
This movie has so many flaws... First: Why is the program "Smith" still alive? Wasnt the whole point of the third movie to end the war by offering Deus Ex Machina, the machine god... to destroy Agent Smith because he would take over the matrix AND the real world? And Neo won! He got overwritten by smith and the machinegod send the destruction code to Neo's hardwired body who is connected with all Smith copies now, resulting in the full destruction/delete of Smith and all his copies. This is the biggest oopsie i think. Agent Smith was the big evil program in the trilogy... and got DESTROYED by the end of Revolutions. They basically just restored Smith from the trash bin or what? And why is Morpheus a program now? If he was created by Neo after the matrix got recreated, on wich ship was he flying all this time prior the reset? You cant just delete a real person and make him virtual because you cant delete the real life of Morpheus he lived before the great reset. Its very obvious they want to show Neo off as a "old man", whatever. Even after he realized everything in his game was reality, Neo still keeps being a old whimp. Even Trinity can fly now... i thought this was a special move of "the chosen one", who can manipulate and bend the matrix at his will. Is Trinity the chosen one too now? Neo has not gotten his flying powers offscreen, Trinity is "carrying" him. Well, Neo has a bad time i guess, even Trinity does not want to kiss him with tung anymore in the only real kissing scene. The only "good" thing about Matrix 4 was the "bullet time", executed by... the "Analyst". But they ruined it because he is not the only one who can use it... So theres that. And what about the ending of the third movie? The oracle asked whats up with the other humans who want "out". The architect told her "they will be set free". This whole movie feels so cheap and off. For me, The Matrix is still a Trilogy. Period. 2/10 from me. Because they all had me nostalgic and interested in the story aggain to see where it goes and blatantly ruined it for fans.
Morpheus here is another version made by Neo in his mods of the Matrix game, but the humas could enter this Matrix in the Matrix, surprised of seing old code being reused. Neo was doing The Matrix again through his modals.
Well, why is the program still alive? Why is Neo and Trinity still alive? It is the same question. They all died. They all got resurrrected. That simple. Also, I am pretty sure Smiths was Neo's counterpart who was born alongside him in the Matrix... therefore, if Neo is resurrected, he has to return as well. The whole thing with the "mind" being so mallable is the only stupid thing in this movie series for me. Like I do not even fully understand what are they doing with Trinity's mind there, connecting it to another body or whatnot? The "mind" cannot be separated from the body like that, because it is electric signals in between nerve-cells, and nothing more. Part of the mind is the body.
@@PanicGW I don't think so. Where's the angry for the review? There's no emotion in what they are saying. Theyre just plain Jane. Atleast for me anyways

I felt so bad for my girlfriend, she had never seen the 1st movie, I told her I'm sure it would be fine... Yikes, it took me awhile to explain that the Matrix was not a game in the original movies.
To be fair, that had to do with the Prime Program and possibly Neo entering the Source. He never had his Superhuman abilites in the real world but he had a connection to the machines, making him able to affect them and control them, kinda like wi-fi. He couldn't do anything beyond that (fly etc). I think it was explained in Matrix Online or somewhere too.

@@RichyRich2607 No, actualy it is bullet time in this case. That term is been used in games after the Matrix, like Max Payne. So they refere it like that in the movie. In Andersons game the Matrix probably used the term bullet time to describe the mechanic.

It's crazy Neo is in the movie pretty much every scene and he still doesn't do anything somehow.

@@IgnoreMeImWrong lol you liked this?
If this movie felt like a bad fan fiction sequel/reboot to The Matrix, at least it was fiction written by people who were fans of the original movies.
peter pan and the lost boys were the merovignian and his new gang... they actually did that to a previously good character...
Your comment on "wake Up" is exactly what I thought as well!!

So then whats the point of the analyst being "the villain" if any other program can do the same?
Not that I want to defend this movie but I’m pretty sure it’s only Smith that can do it since he’s an invasive virus in the program, so if the Analyst can do it he can as well; that said he just disappeared after that scene so it’s a moot point anyway
This movie was very very bad.

"Out of all of the movies we've seen this year, this is certainly one of them." I died laughing and came back to life just to laugh some more.
Sometimes I play with my willy and the white stuff comes out
@Cosmo Kramer The Resurrection Stone
I love how other joe responded lol
Did anyone actually expect this to be remotely good? Reloaded was seriously flawed, and 3 was unwatchable. One of the Wachowskis didn't even return for this one! And no Laurence Fishburne? Get outta my face!
@@TippyHippy you need to be put on nofap
What kills me is that there’s some things I really like conceptually, particularly the bits with the machine civil war, yet it gets botched or glossed over so badly. I would have greatly preferred dealing more with the machine conflict than this weird flashback stuff that kept popping up.
Also, one part that bugged me, when the new “Smith” playing Anderson’s boss is monologuing at the window like OG Smith…how did Neo recall this? The only person that listened to this speech was the original Morpheus when he was captured by the agents.
But Smith did say to Neo "You wrote that line"
Yeah in the movie neo made the game with that line...
Also for a game, they are just showing cutscenes in the background:P
Goof!
Yeah for sure a major missed opportunity. The Animatrix did a great job giving them a baseline to work with.
Yeah... wtf is wrong with Hollywood so devoid of talent these days. We need a new Hollywood that isn't afraid of hurting someones feewings. I swear these people are more afraid of hurting someones feelings than actual physical violence i nthe streets of our cities!
But how could they slap Keanu on the poster and nostalgia bait people then?
You’re wrong on so many levels. The amount of people agreeing is scary. What sheep you are.
@@M00NBULLET lol, that’s cute.
They took the dead rotting corpse of the matrix, stuffed it with nostalgia and called it a new movie. This 3 hours felt like 6.
Still probably made allot of money due to it having a massive fan base like the new bad Disney Star wars films...
@@NoMansLand98 That doesn't seem to be the case with this movie. They will be happy to break even.
Once Alex whips out the alcohol, you know how the guys feel about the movie.
Not surprising Alex doesn’t like anything.

OJ and Alex do such a great job in their own as well!! Amazing team AJs got, love you 3❤️❤️
Alex trying hard to sound smart so desperately. He should be replaced. Will pay for it
Thats cause they dont have the other joe shouting over them.
@@syncopaint_minis3016 my sentiments exactly. Yes it's AJ show but he needs to shut up at times and let his sidekicks have a decent say
I'm starting to like OJ being the main guy during reviews more and more... OJ and Alex ftw
OJ has really matured. He's so savage now and often provides more excoriating criticism than even Alex!
The action scenes are so lazy and cheap, it's bothersome watching it really. Remembering the action scenes in Reloaded and Revolutions, where they broke the rules and went crazy with it (even with the dated CGI), this is just embarrassing. This movie shouldn't have been made.
"We were drinking and still didn't make it good"
I feel you OJ :(
without AJ, you actually get to hear these two talk lol
Its refreshing.
@David Spiewak Yep and its great.
Seriously tho. It’s one of the reasons I don’t watch too often, AJ just talks with over everybody else to the point it’s not a conversation
It's what I'm saying! I'm loving them!
The first movie had so many aspects to appeal to a massive audience. Sci fi, action, love story, redemption, hero's journey etc etc.
Fans of just the first one are insufferable movie critics
@@ProudCommie elaborate on that?
Yeah everything that made the first movie so amazing was absolutely absent from this movie
This one has a meeting montage
It is just like a musician. They can have one song you really like, that doesn't mean you have to like the rest of their catalogue. Movies are a personal experience like pretty much all forms of artistic expression. I do appreciate the sheer effort, amount of work and craftmanship that goes into making any movie, no matter the budget or what my opinion of its quality. Plus the pressure you would have to endure whilst making the thing is something that I personally would not be able to stand for even a week.
Welcome to the real world.
where some movies rely on too much nostalgia and others use nostalgia to progress their story.
Least Spider-Man NWH not only used Nostalgia but they added to it.
I did like how Neo got plugged into the matrix again, and was lost. That had a lot of potential to me and was kinda rushed. imagine if morpheus and all the people who already escaped somehow fell back into the matrix, all of them discovering they are in and trapped... whatever. You get what i mean.
That would've been fire
Morpheus was apparently killed by an assassin in the game, The Matrix Online, which many people did not play. Here's the kicker. His death was canon.😐
Trinity with super powers is just another woke rewriting to empower women.
Nice to finally hear Alex give a full opinion without getting interrupted constantly by AJ.
So much this haha
Was it nice though? Guy just shits on everything with no substance to his critiques.
@@PanicGW I don't think so. Where's the angry for the review? There's no emotion in what they are saying. Theyre just plain Jane. Atleast for me anyways
AJ has some serious people skills problems for a youtuber.
@Benjamin Brown AJ has done a couple of these on his own and they are boring and terrible. He needs someone to bounce off of.. he needs someone to interrupt and talk over haha
Of course this movie failed to please, it had Resurrection in its name. Every movie with that word in their title has failed.
AJ be like, "I'm sorry, I just can't. You guys do this one...PLEASE."
That should of been what he said during the cats movie review. 😂
I felt so bad for my girlfriend, she had never seen the 1st movie, I told her I'm sure it would be fine... Yikes, it took me awhile to explain that the Matrix was not a game in the original movies.
I love how they just don't talk about neo using his abilities in the "real" world.
Yep
Or Trinity now just being able to do everything Neo could
@@Taruukc and more. they can now control the matrix
Yeah. Nothing made any sense.
To be fair, that had to do with the Prime Program and possibly Neo entering the Source. He never had his Superhuman abilites in the real world but he had a connection to the machines, making him able to affect them and control them, kinda like wi-fi. He couldn't do anything beyond that (fly etc). I think it was explained in Matrix Online or somewhere too.
i appreciate when it's just alex and OJ. ive been subbed for many years and love AJ, but it feels like he's overpowering in the movie reviews. for example when they do a review only AJ's score is put on the screen, while alex and OJs aren't put up like their scores don't matter as much. while here both reviewers scores are put on the screen. i know its the angryjoeshow, but without alex and OJ the channel wouldn't be where it's at now (e.g. the news how, rapid fire reviews, misadventure streams). the least he can do is put their scores on the screen so it feels like they all have equal weight
