Honestly, related to how you said that every industry needs a "jerk", one of the most meaningful things I heard prior to this video was some Ludwig video where he it was titled something like "I am not your friend" and really dropped some harsh truths on how a streamer views individual audience members (even though ofc the audience is important to him). I think a quote directly from it was something like "I can't care about you. Not just 'don't', *literally* 'cannot'". As a comparison, though this also resonated with me, was from another streamer who said a sort of similar thing; something along the lines of "We could respond to all our fanmail, but then we'd have no time to stream." It conveys the same message imo but when it is presented as bluntly as Ludwig says it, it feels so much more memorable and understandable.
That was hands down the best ending to a RUclips video I’ve ever seen. The slow-mo, the fading to black, the rain on the window, the music, oh my the music. There is nothing you could add or take away to make it any more perfect. Taking lemons and making lemonade. This is a museum worthy 10 seconds. Well done, bravo!
10:48 This is a great idea, it has worked for me. For the last few months, instead of recording, I stream almost all of my gaming videos. Here are some of the biggest reasons I see: 1. You waste less time from streaming and recording separately 2. Viewers feel more special, because it feels like a video, but they can interact with it 2.5. Viewers' chat messages, follows, donos, etc. will appear in your RUclips videos, which they like, making it a higher chance that they both subscribe to your RUclips and follow you on Twitch 3. It's just more fun to record videos with people watching it in real time And more. It's just a great idea.

Love your input on this Harris, you know how to shoot it straight and glad to see others in the community do the same. That ending though.🤣🤣 Take none of it to heart, you, your team, and your content is anything but basic. Though i fully assume you know it too, but love the comedic effect to that, Great job to Sam for the editing to that. Can't wait for Senpai Records!!
I took both of your advice to start streaming, just did my first one on Twitch tonight, had such a blast! I love your vids especially the tutorial of OBS! Thank you for motivating me to start streaming!
I realized that Ludwig shouted you out in his RUclips video, I went to look at your channel to check it out, and now I’m watching you on the very same day, react to that very stream that influenced me to check your RUclips channel out. Really likening your content so far by the way.
I feel one of the biggest takeaways with doing collabs, is not just the exposure, because I do agree with you that you won’t collab and network your way to stardom, and that you should be able to stand on your own as well, BUT one of the most important things to takeaway from a collab, is being able to learn things from each other that will help you grow on your own. Learn their habits and what makes them tick and put it to your personal branding. Just like the saying goes, birds of a feather flock together, people who hang out with losers, develop the attributes of a loser, people who hang out with winners, eventually become one. If you wanna be successful at streaming, you have to make your collabs worth it, and learn from what they do RIGHT, and use it to help you stand on your own. It’s something I learned from being a music producer, flow artist, and now gaming content creator. This principle will always apply.
That ending got me lol 👍👍👍 love your content and it's what's helping me towards my content creator goals! Ludwig is apparently taking your advice super serious, and it's paying off!
Dude every time I say I’m going to start streaming or making content I watch your channel and when I lose my way your videos pop up and I go for it again you’re a legend bro
I literally cackled at the end. Hahahaha... Harris is honestly an exception to that rule. Great video again. As someone very serious about trying to make content creation a living, I really appreciate the tips and honest strategies. At the end of it all, if I'm just not making good enough content, I can honestly say, I gave it my best shot and I tried to learn from the best. I don't ever plan on giving up and will continue the grind and try to improve until the day I die... But, at least, I'll leave something cool behind when it's all said and done. Something I loved making and am happy to have done.
while telling people to quit seems like a joke, in a way he's right. if everybody is streaming, there won't be enough viewers to go around, and everybody takes a hit.
I think its more of doing them a fovour. If they arent willing to put in that much work than just quit because you arent gonna make it. Rather than half asked it for years and have 3 viewers. It just gonna waist your time and make you feel like shit
yep. that's what I'm stuck on right now. the past month or so since I've put more time in to streaming I've just been randomly playing through my steam library.
I know I'm being provocative by saying the ending was just him talking too much and trying to level out the solid compliment he gave you but, he's right. There's no genius quality to reading instructions, testing the equipment and making a decision on what looks, sounds and feels the best; AND... THAT'S WHAT MAKES IT AN "ART!" So, what he was saying, Harris Heller, (that I think was lost is) you are an Influential Artist with your technical knowledge and good judgment. I'm not apologizing for him, I'm just sharing what I took away from his comment. Try listening to it again in this light and I think you'll see what I'm getting at. Either way, it's true... you are very influential and you definitely know what you're talking about with equipment, lighting, business sense for social media and various other expertise you share with us; and we thank you for that 😎👍
Rewatching this again after the 100t collab just realizing Nadeshot was one of the guys you wanted to emulate, thats so awesome. Keep killing it Harris!
His presentation was a comedy bit about how he made it, whereas you're trying to support people for long-term success. Thanks for what you do, brother! Keeps me going. :)
That ending was brutal haha. Thanks for this, I don't use Twitch and actually didn't know who Ludwig was (different worlds), but the sentiment is the same I think. Learning a lot and appreciate these comments are on old videos. (Kinda proving your points though).
Keep in mind also, a lot of content creators blew up (or grew) in 2020 and 2021 due to more people stuck at home during Covid watching. As did a lot of online shopping stores, televisions shows, Hulu, Netflix, etc. But it will all go back to normal and plateau when we all get back to work, get out socializing, vacations, get our normalcy back. So always keep that in mind and stay humble. And for him to say he watched your channel when he was small and when he was big, and then to turn around and say its pretty basic info, I fell out of my chair. What a clown thing to say. Because of your positive streams I have been able to add to my creative toolbox not only some much needed hardware/software, but also focus on who I am... Thank You!

Ok I might be a big baby especially since I’m postpartum. But the ending broke my heart! I’m sure it was meant to be funny. But I just wanted to hug you! I think you are single handily the most helpful how to gaming content creator on any platform. The tools, advice, and time you put in to helping content creators is insane. And when you see a need or something lacking in the market, you fill that necessity for us (like the music issues we faced/are facing) You’re amazing, diverse, genuine, and unique. You do you boo and I’ll keep watching not only root you on but to also learn how to better myself. I just had my baby boy and after a rough pregnancy and postpartum I get to start up my RUclips for my emote, panel, etc art and looking to see how I start this. You’re the goat HH!
I needed this a lot. Now I have a totally different mindset of streaming. Imma start working my stream around to posting it on yt and I’m going to set goals. Grind time bb
The part I liked the most about the presentation was when he mentioned to follow Alpha Gaming, cause I'm brand new to this environment and one of the first streamer/youtuber I followed for any advice on what gear to get was Alpha, so when he mentioned you made me feel that I'm in the right path!!! Keep it up man! Btw... that ending is hilarious!
That last moment of the video kinda remembered me that jack sparrow scene.. where someone goes saying "You are without a doubt the worst pirate i've ever heard of" which jack sparrow says "But you've heard of me" 🤣
Two comments (and yes, I’m a huge fan of Harris Heller): 1. I love that he gave Alpha Gaming a shoutout! 2. I love your ending. When you got up and walked off, I thought to myself, “Dang, Harris is going to come back and comment some more, but I think it would have been a lot cooler if he had just ended the video right here.” And then the video ends. Love it!!!
Thanks for sharing this, and all of your other startup content. Took some notes, enjoyed your take on all of this and the walk off at the end was sad and legendary at the same time.
%1000 agree that it is important to set actionable goals not result based goals. (e.g., stream 3 days a week vs. get 5 average viewers. The first one you can control while the second one you can not. However the second one may result from working towards the first goal.)
Loved this video for the info and the ending lol! Really appreciate what you are doing, I'm wanting to try and become a "Streamer" and after watching your videos things are really starting to make sense as a whole. My perspective on streaming has changed so much since I started watching your videos, and your gear suggestions have been spot on!
"No big streamer is......" Harris, I don't think that you want to be that big of a streamer at this point... Correct me if I'm wrong, but your focus and passion is music and helping streamers. You are big enough that you have the credentials and experience to help others blow up. On top of that you've created a successful record label that fulfills both of those passions. We love you Harris!
I am all but crying (with laughter) at the ending 😂 Never has someone done that so completely, and I love your reaction to it. I’m not a gaming RUclipsr (I game and I’m a filmmaker but no crossover) but I watch your channel all the time because it inspires me. 😂😂😂😂 man that was ice cold
Sound advice. Though that ending was a bit harsh. You're better than most at the particular content you create! You're the reason I really got started streaming.

The ending, ending was the best part. Been watching you RUclips videos and gotten a lot of great tips, thank you for them.
Lol that dig at the end…. “Ask Alpa Gaming. Don’t ask a big streamer!” Ouch!
I did not expect to laugh that hard at the end...great reaction great edits
That last moment of the video kinda remembered me that jack sparrow scene.. where someone goes saying "You are without a doubt the worst pirate i've ever heard of" which jack sparrow says "But you've heard of me" 🤣
Two comments (and yes, I’m a huge fan of Harris Heller):
1. I love that he gave Alpha Gaming a shoutout!
2. I love your ending. When you got up and walked off, I thought to myself, “Dang, Harris is going to come back and comment some more, but I think it would have been a lot cooler if he had just ended the video right here.”
And then the video ends. Love it!!!
Was I supposed to burst out laughing at the ending cause I did 😂 love you harris you'll always be in my subscription box ❤️
lol! Yay! 10/10 ending, thank you for committing to the joke and not coming back with a "thanks for watching, guys. Ring that bell!"
Lol that last line...ouch!!!! Dude i love your content. For real. Learning a lot from you before i start my own streaming journey.
Was not expecting that ending! HAHAHA Much Love Harris.
Watching this 8 months later and your studio is almost done!
"No big streamer is......"
Harris, I don't think that you want to be that big of a streamer at this point... Correct me if I'm wrong, but your focus and passion is music and helping streamers. You are big enough that you have the credentials and experience to help others blow up. On top of that you've created a successful record label that fulfills both of those passions. We love you Harris!
His advice combined with yours is good to listen to Harris. Thanks for inputting your advice here too Harris.
Omg 🤣🤣🤣 that ending though... Imma get there and I feel like it's your content that's guiding me so thanks should start up in a couple of months
Eulogy of Harris Heller:
Kind and creative person who gave back to the community. Breaker of DMCA strong holds and finally "provider of basic info."
Nov 2016 - Feb 2021
Oh my god, that ending is genius
2 months ago “Ludwigs a pretty big streamer, people know him” now-biggest streamer on twitch
LOL ending is epic! & glad i watched & shared this with my community
Thank you for taking the time to provide your input into such a big topic! Also, low key.....love that your put the new logo on the AIO Cooler
This is the biggest WTF ending I've seen in a RUclips video. Great work, Harris
DUUUUDE!!!! Oh my. I was listening while washing dishes, trying to glean a few bits of knowledge, when he said, "No big streamer really is". I looked at the video to check your reaction - cue sad music - cue rainfall 🤣😂🤣😂 cue me laughing like an idiot alone in my kitchen. So good. Sooooo good. Keep it coming Harris. You the man.
The most fitting ending to this video. I love your videos Alpha, I just recently found your page and I'm addicted hahahaha
And what I meant by that was just cutting him off and ending the video hahahaha
Best ending to a video on your channel. Absolute gold.
Basic info is the best info. I've got so much value, knowledge and insight from this channel.
They did my boi dirty with that end roast lol "No BIG Streamer is, it's pretty BASIC info" poor dude haha love the videos man very helpful and inspirational
