  • Cardio respiratory endurance is defined as the ability to engage large muscle groups, dynamically or rhythmically, continuously or intermittently, at low through moderate to high intensity exercise to training the heart and bring oxygen to the heart. Doing so will improve heart health.
Strengthening or stretching muscles with specific joint action. This may be more challenging since there is a specific joint action. To strengthen in water there must be enough sets and repetitions to train or overload the muscle. Stretching may be performed either stationary (if water or body is warm) or most often actively if the water temperature is cooler. Taking the time to better balance the body with total body fitness so that the joints are protected with strong yet long muscles. Additionally, stretching and strengthening will help you to sculpt a better body.
