$52,000 That's about 350+ nights at Holiday Inn Express. We spend about 5 to 6 weeks a year on the road but If we don't travel we don't have a monthly bill to pay. All RV's are over priced for now.
@@stankygeorge I f’ing those features very appealing. My husband drives for 4 days each way about 4-5 times a year. He refuses to pay for a hotel room because he’s afraid of being robbed of the stuff in his trailer. It is extremely unsafe for him to sleep, he has to try to sleep in a bench seat in a F-450, he doesn’t want to use the truckers bathrooms and he only eats fast food. This is something that we could afford and I would even be able to travel with our animals and pull it with my Wrangler. I think it’s fabulous for what we’d need it for. It would only be necessary for the next 3-5 years and then after that, we could choose to sell or buy a larger more plush one that feels like home. The price of campers these days vs staying in a hotel makes you wonder why buy one. If you spend $5000 a year on a vacation it would take you 10 years plus to offset price. Over 10 years you would have repairs storage, camp ground fees, interest ,tires, insurance ,gas to tow and wear on the vehicle used to move it, so is it worth it. They are nice but no longer practical
People don't buy trailers to save money. They want to sleep in nature, in their own bed with their own stuff surrounding them, without living out of a suitcase. Lots of people are also into boondocking off the beaten path, which you can't do in a hotel. Plus, these things retain their value somewhat. Use it for 5 years and sell it, and with inflation and because of the cool retro look, I bet you can get a good buck for it. But I agree with you, RV camping can be expensive. It's not for me, I think it's a waste of money. I watch these videos to see what I might buy if I ever win the lottery. It looks like the design, build, unique features, and overall quality is equal to Airstream. It's the same thing with hotels, homes, and businesses. Businesses really need to hire somebody to go through their business to see what is functional and what is not functional, especially when it comes to the price.
This is a UK design that's been in use for several years. nuCamp sells other small campers, including the very popular T@B. I've owned one for 14 seasons and take multi-weeks trips as well as short trips, and average over 55 nights per year in it. The design of both models is great.
This is really cute, well designed and great if you don't need to travel with much. It's hard to justify the price tag, but it would be easy to take on the road.
Agree with some of the other comments - $52,000 - that is a NO GO. Get something like the Scamp in the $25,000 price range with no bathroom and two separate sleeping areas available. Now you are talking. $52,000 that is a NO.

Just not livable for everyone over multiple summers. Great if you have 2 weeks vacation every year (max) and love having a conversation peace in your back yard.
If you put a chest fridge in the same place as the other one, it would be nicer. Not everybody wants to stand on their head to see whats in the fridge...A front opening fridge down that low is impractical. I do love the storage & the size of the bed.
This IS the cutest thing I have ever seen. HOnestly. I could live in there full time I think!!!!!! And people pay 50,000 for a fancy car every single day and don't even blink an eye. Something is expensive depending on how much money you make each year. You can either afford it or you can't.

The regulator doesnt indicate how much gas is in the propane tanks dude. A regulator just controls flow. You need a guage at the tanks to measure if the tank is low in gas. Otherwise a great review!
I agree, it’s so cute, I love everything about it, the color, the style, but it does need a screen, and air con. I don’t know who can afford it. If they’re rich, I’m sure they’d want more and a bigger trailer for their money. Even at 1/2 price, like others mentioned, it’s still too high. Also, the heater in the shower? It seems like it could melt the shower curtain, or water could get inside. I’d be curious as to how well these sell.
It has an AC unit. Screen? It has window screens. The heat for the shower is the Alde hot water system. There is no shower curtain. The bathroom door has a lip and keeps water inside the wet bath.
I like the retro design and layout, but this is a $16,000 trailer. I paid $56,000 for my 40 foot toy hauler 5th wheel. This trailer would fit inside it.
The price is high that is true. However, this is a camper for all those folks who have small SUV's or other vehicles with a 3500 lb tow capacity. To get the Basecamp would also mean getting a larger tow vehicle, which would add another 25-30 K to the cost of the Basecamp, and now the cost is 52k for this vs 85-90K for a Basecamp. The real competition for this is not Airstream but other lightweight fiberglass small trailers such as Scamp or Casita. This trailer is quite a bit more than those though, so it is a tough call to make.
You can buy a tiny home with more space, storage building, and land with city sewage to put it on in TN for this amount. I thought this tiny thing was going to be around $15K. And how do you use the shower when the water is going to run inside the heater? Anyone would be laughed outta town for paying that price for it.

I could not believe it so I had to rewind and listen to the price, get the hell out of here nobody’s gonna give you $52,000 you could get one that sleeps 10 people for that amount of money. what a joke.
Very nice new camp highly prized, but not rugged enough to go out into the desert or into the mountains too low to the ground he would be hitting not enough clearance but nice
So cute however 👎 that price is not justified. Since COVID the camping arena has been flooded with trailers - people cannot get sites because campgrounds are over booked or booked out 1 yr in advance. Not to mention the cost to camp has also soared out of control. The average family can NO longer afford to take a simple vacation. So sad 😞
Exactly. Why not pay half that much and get an ugly, piece of crap, uncomfortable, inexpensive camper made from cheap materials that will probably leak in a year and be worth little to nothing at resale.
The basic shape seems to lead to.inefficient use of space, the refrigerator runs only on electricity, but there seems to be TWO thirty pound propane tanks. The above, added to the near sixty grand price does not impress me.

$52,000!!!
BWAAA! HA! HA! HA!
They are NUTZZZ!
More like $5,200.
Super cute but I'm thinking some where in the neighborhood of about 50% of the price. Even 26K seems a little steep.
Still using the same crappy tank level monitor that constantly mail function. For the price point i would expect better quality componunts
I wish they made RVs like this for tall people!
52k ?? Just who in their right mind would pay that for this tiny trailer?
Does the platform in front of the gas tanks accommodate a box or bikes?
that looks great but a crazy price
Beckleys is where we purchased our new Grand Design Rv and love it.However I’m not sure I’m feeling the 50,000 price tag right now. Looks great and yes very towable but that $$$. Go Beckleys 😊
Ive been waiting for this for ever and im not getting any younger. Very nice but the price seems to be going up every year. 3 years ago it was 40, now 50!!!
Great job Justin! I love it
Thank youuuu!!!
My 16 foot Scamp trailer cost $19,000 with extra add ons !!!
16k and I'm sold.
I could not believe it so I had to rewind and listen to the price, get the hell out of here nobody’s gonna give you $52,000 you could get one that sleeps 10 people for that amount of money. what a joke.
No mention of T.V. ? Is that offered ?
Very nice new camp highly prized, but not rugged enough to go out into the desert or into the mountains too low to the ground he would be hitting not enough clearance but nice
Thanks for watching Sergio! Agreed!
OK love this trailer but the price takes me out of the ballpark. Thanks for sharing
Great video but at that price i wont be seeing any of those in my neck of the woods 😳
Should be 10,000 no more!!
I agree, 52,000 really? Yea, its cute but not that cute😂
I'd like to see a bigger version of this as a motorhome, and my sister and I living in it, and a hitch in the back for our car.
Four times bigger and half the price!
$52k!!!!!??????? Geeze, in europe it was $25k. That is highway robbery. I hope it fails if they don't adjust that price. It is an insult.
So sad 😞
The lack of campsites in state parks is why I sold my 2017 T@B last year.
At half that price it's still way too much.
