Peak Efficiency! Farming Crops in No Man's Sky with Minimal Effort - No Glitching Required

- With this crop farming setup in No Man's Sky you can harvest thousands of plants in a single click without any exploits or glitch building.
I've also done the maths so you don't have to for 16 and 64 Stasis Device based farms.

"No glitching required" places buildings in spots already occupied by other buildings. Perhaps I don't understand what you are considering a "glitch"
the game allows phasing of build pieces by default. For NMS building, glitch building refers to using techniques to build items outside of the scope the game naturally allows
Totally agree this is silly seriously....this is just a huge glitch 🤣🤣

*_"the game allows phasing of build pieces by default. For NMS building, glitch building refers to using techniques to build items outside of the scope the game naturally allows"_*
You seriously have a tendency to deny exploits, glitches and all other ways of cheating, and deny it.
You can talk until you weigh an ounce, it's glitching, period. For you to say "the game allows phasing of build pieces by default" is a joke, what you're showing was clearly NOT intended by the developer.
Why are you so obsessed with numbers? As that an alpha-male thing... you just need to prove your superiority to other males, by having higher numbers, otherwise you can't feel good about yourself? You suffer from a serious inferiority complex if you ask me.
@@XainesWorld I honestly love the idea in theory, but the reason why I possibly wouldn't implement it myself, is because I'd be paranoid about the developers patching it out later. There used to be a whole lot of these types of tricks that you could use in Minecraft back in the day, but every single one of them has been patched. But you obviously have an incredible ability for discovering obscure game mechanics, which truthfully I wish I had myself. I originally found your portal guide two years ago, but I still refer back to it occasionally now. You are a master, and I acknowledge that.
This is glitching dude
This breaks quite a few local government building and safety guidelines and isnt to up to code. I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to tear it down.
I just started building a stasis farm this weekend using your previous 2 stack instructions, then I had to travel for work. Glad I found this! Can’t wait to get back home and start using these instructions. Thanks! Definitely going to subscribe to your channel. Love your guides!
Why? At a point in the game where you can build it you don't need units anymore. You are making units for what? Just to have. Like me I made my ship. the over charged slots are together. So, I don't need units for a ship. I found a royal multi tool. The super charged slots are stacked. I don't need units for that. Making units for what? There's nothing to use units for in this game. If you know the refining tricks most everything can be made in the game. 1 piece of some and another piece makes something else. You don't need to buy 99% of anything in the game. Units are pretty much worthless after about 3 hours of game play. Nanites are about the same. You get you upgrades and now what? I have 150K nanites and nothing to spend it on. They are worthless. I passed up a curious deposit earlier today than was 23 balls. Sure, it was 4000 nanites. But so what, there's nothing to buy with them.
YES!!! This is so much faster, but probably a nightmare on permadeath with a stack limit...
well you didn't tell me you wanted to be able to store things in your inventory post harvest!!! what an unreasonable wish!
Awesome guide man! Will def keep this in my back pocket for future saves.
I mean wouldn't that technically be a glitch build? XD still coll though
For me, i build mineral farms on their respective planets, and then i harvest the plant and just plant a huge amount of them, in the open, next to the mineral farm, for me there is just not enough plants per space in those bio domes, and then its just portaling between each base for each plant type.
Any reason why you couldn't build a 64 device farm using fewer stacks with more than 7 domes in each stack? For example, 10 stacks of 12 domes. Or even 1 stack of 119 domes?
This is really cool, and it looks good, too! Many thanks!
It doesn't look cool at all, it looks incredibly st-u-pid.
I just double the amount of the main 8 plants through refiners in minutes. Sure beats setting up generators, bio-domes and waiting hours. Looks neat though!
Patched if you visit his base its all gone! Just floating plants this does not work
Haha! Yeah! Thanks for the awesome instructions!
Awesome build. Found it randomly today, next to your portal. I'm wondering: if I harvest everything and you log in a bit later, will you have to wait for it to grow back? Or is it instanced for each player? What if I'm in solo mode? BTW I love your channel, the precise and scientific approach. Super helpful, keep it up!
heya bud, glad you liked it
what is the best type of multi tool and do you have a location for one
does this still work in the new Orbital update?
im having trouble powering 6 towers , i built houses just to hold batteries and solar panels and still any help?
Use electromagnetic power
For powering something like this, I definitely recommend using the electromagnetic generators that uses a power hotspot. With just a class b hotspot, I was able to power 71 biodomes. Though the more power you need, the more generators you are going to need.
Wish theyd just make a harvester drone connected to flora storage container
I tried one for the first time last night. It didn't work. I tried the third option as on here. I did 4 small walls but then noticed I couldn't put a floor panel on the 4th small wall. No panel wants to connect to the 4 walls 😢 Instead what I did was build a normal size wall then built the floor on top, and then put the same size wall to go down. I was able to do everything else fine. Right up to building the three walls. I may have put a star bulb at the entrance but couldn't see. So I was only able to create 2 doors. Gutted. Wiped and about to try again.
if you could only put 2 doors its down to the direction you were facing when you placed the biodome, you can only put a door on 3 of the 4 sides, the side nearest to you is the one you can't put a door on, so be sure not to mix it up
@@XainesWorld thanks for replying
Do not do this if you want to play the game normally for the first time good video though
I’m curious why? It’s not something a day 1 player would do, so what is the negative here?
@Bild0zer It's just weird.. other than that, it's awesome! (Chaotic good 😂)
But I'll prefer Hello Games add some sort of stackable Bio-dome building part (something like Cylindrical Room but made of glass with all the built-in hydroponic inside)..
or maybe a vertical farm building part (something like in the video without the weird placement)..
and maybe some sort of mass harvesting mechanism for outdoor crops..
wish they also have a option to mass craft items instead of pressing "E" for like 100 times? 😂
Cool
I assume glitch building with this would make the farm way nuttier...but this vid was informative and makes me wanna try a build like this, but, I really like glass cuboid rooms for the viewing aesthetics on those chromatic planets
Yeah with glitch building it's possible to have only 1-2 biodomes total, you can glitch the plants inside each other perfectly, so it just looks like a normal dome then BAM thousands upon thousands of resources
