This show is a perfect example of “leaving audiences wanting for more”. It truly is a “helluva” year, and I can wait to see how it processed in the next season.
It looks like Loona and Blitz’s relationship has developed enough to the point that it functions more like a healthy father-daughter dynamic instead of toxic roommates. I love that.
Yeah, it's nice to see Loona is finally beginning to realize how much Blitz genuinely cares for her, and is unwinding enough to be able to begin to show it to him. I expect she'll still be her usual super-snarky self much of the time, but it's still nice to see her starting to come out of her shell. After Millie and her rescued Moxxie and Blitz in that one episode, I also want to see more of her bonding with Millie too, since they really did work well together, and Millie still has that comment about Loona as "our hell hound" as if she were a pet, not a person, to make up for.
I love how Blitzø seems to be thinking "Oh, so this is the time she decides to open up and be bubbly and adorable" he doesn't want to be there, but this means a lot to his daughter, and he wants to see his daughter happy, so he has no choice but to either stay or go back to rock bottom relationship with her, creating a Morton's fork.
It seems we already reached half of them, we just have to wait for the episode with Striker and Fizz(and another character i'm not remembering right now)
I personally like the fact not all animations here are "fully realized", because you can actually see that it's work in progress and how they draw and animate everything.

Looks like we will dig into everyones backstories, Loona’s relationship with her Dad is finally getting attention, Moxxie will get into some trouble, and Strider is getting a come back. Also that looks like the meeting of Blitzø and Stolas, so we will get some of that as well.

Okay the finished segment in the beginning looked far more expressive and fluid than seen so far, so if the show is getting a animation upgrade I can’t wait to see them really flex their muscles
I was thinking the same thing. Soon as I watched, the first thing I said was "Whoa, that animation is looking really fluid! Props to the team on that."
As impressive as the fluidity is, I do kinda like the less fluid animation of the earlier episodes. It kinda makes the goofy parts of the characters punch more and makes things more irratic. The fluidity makes more sense when the moment is calm and the characters or more open with each other if that makes sense.
I hope Loona and Millie have some screen times and character development in this new season. Those two deserve much more than just a side-kick and a background character.
Seeing as how we see a Luna and Blitz scene at the begining, im assuming well get atleast more Luna, btu we havent seen alot of Millie so we can only hope

So this trailer confirms a few things - 1. Striker is definitely going to be around more. He's not going to be dying in the next episode if he even appears in it at all. 2. We are going to see how Blitz and Stolas first met. 3. We're going to be exploring the Greed Ring a bit. 4. We're going to be exploring Moxxie's past. 5. We're getting a new royal character.
Also, we see how Blitz and Fizz first met (and maybe a romantic relationship..?), and a hospital scene thing it looks like? I can not tell but the ending it with the rose petals
poor Blitz, the lines under his eyes make him look like he's so tired. I hope he and Stolas are able to patch things up, they both need each other right now

It’s just like with the full on action episode where she was fighting. Except that one was with action while this one was with just those little detailed body movements that show emotion. It’s just beautifully done here.

Loons is actually happy in this trailer , she looks so adorable when she is happy. And she and Blitz seem to be communicating better instead of her flipping him off. They must finally see eye to eye in the finale.

Also, sooooo excited for 2 things: 1: more fizzarolli. Looks like his relationship with blitzo will be explored more here 2. Mammon. We already have Asmodeous revealed, so having Mammon will surely be a treat. Also hope he gets a song about gambling or just greed in general
One thing that I want to mention is that I am really curious to see is Stella in this upcoming season. I really hope they don't make her into a one-dimensional bad guy. I grew up around different people always cheating on each other, and all I can say is that stuff like that is always way more complex than just a good and bad guy. I do hope that she actually gets flushed out as a character.
Well yeah, it's already more then one dimensional. Stella is "the bad guy" for wanting to kill Stolas, but he's still "the victim" because she's the one that got cheated on. Stolas is simultaneously the jerk because he cheated but also a victim of a loveless marriage, where he clearly felt like he was trapped in and underappreciated, and Blitzø made him feel good (physically) and appreciated ("romantically"). There's no black and white, Stella has every right to be mad but Stolas's choice is at the very least understandable - he was going through a low period and someone made him feel important and desirable again after a long long time, you can't really blame him for wanting to be loved. At the same time, cheating is horrible and not excusable, and Stolas knows that Blitzø couldn't be much more than a secret lover because of the scandal of a hell prince with an imp. So no, I wouldn't worry about the show making it one dimensional. Just look at Octavia and Stolas's relationship in Loo Loo Land, you can see it's complicated and portrayed as such.
I am not worried about that at all. So far they have done amazing job making even minor characters intricate and showing that they have a soft spot even if they're evil through and through.
I just hope that it’s more than what many are thinking between them. IE: Arranged/loveless marriage. I mean fine if it is, but spouting it as if it’s fact NOW is rather annoying because WE DONT know yet! No Stolas’ incomplete statement doesn’t count as evidence nor is the fact they are royalty. If it is, it is, fine. As boring a plot line as that would be(you may as well have just axed it completely frankly as there’s far more interesting ways), but at least wait for actual evidence.

The scenes we haven't seen yet (I think) are: Stolas waiting with his hat in his lap, teen Blitz and Fizz, Fizz and Ozzie caught in the kitchen, Blitz and Fizz dancing with pony charm reveal, Mammon sign, Fizz stepping out of maybe a limo with the phallic confetti cannons, Mammon concert, Ozzie tossing Fizz a baton, Fizz looks at a newspaper, Fizz lights a match, and Andrealphus's particular expression Mostly Fizz, so that next episode is likely one of his, but we'll have to wait and see!

Ever since Stolas saw Blitz shut down and say such things from the last episode, he’s been distant, and obv not flirty anymore. Depressed, basically. So, by the looks of it, i think the upcoming episodes will feature: - A biltzo backstory episode (since we see him with stolas several times where stolas seems more hesitant, his is uncharacteristic of him. Plus, we see see blitiz several times with a younger fizz.) - a return of striker (YES) and him having a showdown with m&m. - moxxie having a team-up with some new character- possibly an old friend or character from the past?
I love those moments when Loona shows her girl side, and that she's more than just a bad ass hell hound. Her facial expression at being called a "hottie", and how her tail was wagging, giving away that she liked it.
@@robynthethird4776 Considering she then said "I mean, I guess we could stay a little longer", I think she might have been the one wanting to leave, and is now changing her mind. If Blitzo had been the one wanting to leave, she would have instead been asking him to stay longer right off the bat. Also given the fact that her tail was wagging, and we've already seen that getting attention causes her to wag her tail, he was more than likely calling her the hottie. That's how I understood the scene anyways.
Okay, rewatched this to see all the scenes I could recognise, and I’m assuming the stuff that we haven’t seen animated yet will mainly be in episode 7 as these scenes recognised go up to episode 6 So just by these snippets alone, I’m already really excited for the next episode!
Yep, the title for Season 2 Episode 7 is actually called “MAMMON’S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli)” so it’s safe to say that the remaining animated sequences not depicted so far in Season 2 will be in this one. It’ll likely show a flashback of a concert hosted by Mammon Fizzarolli and Blitzø attended as teenagers prior to the accident on Fizz’s birthday (which is shown in one of Blitzø’s photos in Season 1 Episode 7 “Ozzie’s”) and then a performance by Fizz in present day as shown when Asmodeus tosses Fizz a baton with fire
After watching this in 0.25 speed. There are two things I found interesting. One is during the shot Stryker does his flips, Moxxie and Millie's silhouettes are visible, but a third one is barely visible and it looks like Stolas is tied to rail tracks like one of those damsels in distress from old western movies. And there is a very brief moment of what looks like another bird demon of high status, who I believe could be another of the Ars Goetia.

Not even a her side project at the start. Blitz, Loona and Moxxie were originally characters from hazbin. Comic relief. But Viv decided that it did not mesh well with the more dramatic nature of hazbin.
If you slow down the video, and look at around 0:53 seconds, where Fizz is reading the journal, you can see a picture of Asmodeus and Fizz hugging while the tagline claims Ozzie is a "HYPOCRITE", which is something I remember that people noticed on the first part: Ozzie and Fizzarolli act very caring with each other despite the whole lust thing they praise. This shows that all of that was ON PURPOSE.

The fact that this started with Loona acting so happy and also sweet shows this next season looks so promising! Holy shit, I just finished watching the latest HB episode (s2e7) and looking back at this trailer it's amazing to see just how much of the original concepts made it to the finished episodes, excited to see the rest of the season.
After watching this trough, I see some interesting things. Asmodeus being called out for hypocrisy? Striker vs our favourite lovebirds? Blitz and Stolas reconciled? Looks dope

UPDATE HERE: The animators need a bit more time for the finale so don’t expect it in the next few days (it will be worth it tho because the finale will be epic). They said they’re pretty far along however so I’m gonna guess about 2-3 weeks still to go?(they didn’t really give a time frame) Good news is the episodes in S2 have progress so we will get those sooner than usual (also they’re longer eps!)😈 Hope that’s useful for anyone. ^.^ Update update: (sorry guys my estimate was optimistic but it’s coming!). I see we're getting a flashback to Blitzø's childhood and his relationship with Fizzarolli 👀 and what appears to be present Blitzø + Fizzarolli... I LOVE it. Fizzarolli is my favorite character, and I'm glad we're gonna explore his relationships and past! Especially with Asmodeus ("the King of Lust is a hypocrite?")
Waiting for this series is torture. I'm more invested in the relationship between these characters than I've ever been with any other series. I know the wait is worth it, though. Don't want them rushing it out just to please the impatient.

According to this, we’re gonna meet Mammon, Asmodeus and Fizaroli’s relationship will expand, and Moxie is either gonna make a new friend or a new enemy. Oh, and Striker is gonna make another appearance. THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME!!!

Everytime I watch an episode, I'm absolutely ASTOUNDED by how genuine the animation is. There's actual work put in to make these characters look realistic and 3D in a way I haven't seen since 1990's Disney movies. It's absolutely amazing.
Not only am I excited for what comes next after the Ozzie’s episode but I really hope Millie gets some spot light time- not only that, the small glimpse of Octavia ripping a paper (map?) in this depressed or annoyed state has me more curious about where Stolas and his daughter are at in relations. Overall, really cool small peeks to hype up season 2! Best wishes to all people involved! (There’s more that I like but keeping it short)
Okay, considering how Fizz held Blitzø when he dipped him, and Blitzø's eyes, to those who thought they were siblings, I kinda doubt it at this point. But Fizz also stole keys to something? I'm very curious to know the context of that scene. And what those keys are. I'm actually very excited to see more of their relationship and their past for sure.
It seems like Fizz was using this "dance" (probably on a stage) to entrance and distract Blitzø to take out his keychain and shame him in front of the crowd for being obsessed with ponys and horses.
Ok so some things I noticed while watching it: -Loona and Blitzo are much closer (as pointed out by others -Blitzo and Stolas haven’t made up yet -We are going ro explore alot of backgrounds of the main characters (such as how blitzo and stolas met and even moxxies past as an assumed criminal) -Aswell as moxxie and blitzo having a criminal/ deviant past i could see millie also fighting shark goons (thank you to the comments that pointed that out) -i think its stolas, in one scene you can see a black hand reaching out to something with wires taped to his hand -Loona seems to be enjoying her time as a human in earth -A presumed human stolas - Blitzo’s younger self had hair Thats all i noticed. If you saw anything else or like to add to that then feel free to : D
I think there is more to that. Blizo and Stolas could've made up, but Blitzo's line about him only being wanted by Stolas for XXX could've had a lasting impact that he is afraid to make Blitzo think he is only a toy to him, blaming himself and wanting to give Blitzo relationship he craves (aka, he is working on himself and trying to prove he is not there for Blitzo only due to physical attraction). In the short it's Blitzo who comes onto Stolas, and we also see them later talking more friendly, like Blitzo telling him about some sort of scheme. Maybe Stolas will end up joining IMP for one day in human world for work trying to build connection with Blitzo and his gang, as we see a human looking like Stolas later.

Can't wait for more scenes with Asmodeus and Fizzarolli! I am genuinely interested in their relationship, and I think they really do make a good couple. All is that I am wondering about is the newspaper we saw there, and what will happen after that.
I'm disappointed that this was the show that's getting all of the episodes and seasons. Hazbin Hotel is so much more interesting and has so much more potential to me. I keep hearing that a network has picked it up but it's been 3 going on 4 years since the pilot was released. If they were going to turn it into a series they would have by now. It just frustrates me I wish they would spend this time and energy making Hazbin episodes instead of helluva boss episodes. It's not even in production. I'm very disappointed that she sold the rights to Hazbin immediately and then not done anything with the show.

Viv is being silent on hazbin because she's under contract but I am starting to worry that there seems to have been no attempt to advertise, aside from helluva boss, but for starters it's a pretty standalone series, but also not from a24. My money is on a24 having trouble managing and marketing their first animation project, but I do wonder if something fishy is going on. I know that sometimes book publishers will buy from an author in order to suppress a book that would otherwise compete with an already successful ip.
I can't wait to see more Stolas, not just because he's my favourite character, and not he's a hot royal owl f*ckboy, but because I want him and Blitzø to actually have a friendship together, and He's an amazing character. It looks like Loona and Blitz’s relationship has developed enough to the point that it functions more like a healthy father-daughter dynamic instead of toxic roommates. I love that.
Yeah, it's nice to see Loona is finally beginning to realize how much Blitz genuinely cares for her, and is unwinding enough to be able to begin to show it to him. I expect she'll still be her usual super-snarky self much of the time, but it's still nice to see her starting to come out of her shell. After Millie and her rescued Moxxie and Blitz in that one episode, I also want to see more of her bonding with Millie too, since they really did work well together, and Millie still has that comment about Loona as "our hell hound" as if she were a pet, not a person, to make up for.
Which spoils that the last episode of season 1 will be laying patches or makeup moments.
I don't know, it might be because she has ulterior motives, given the premises of that scene...
Their relationship is my favorite. I hope we get more moments like that between them.

There's something about Loona smiling at Blitzo and acting like, well, a daughter to him that's just so heartwarming.
I love how Blitzø seems to be thinking "Oh, so this is the time she decides to open up and be bubbly and adorable" he doesn't want to be there, but this means a lot to his daughter, and he wants to see his daughter happy, so he has no choice but to either stay or go back to rock bottom relationship with her, creating a Morton's fork.

I was thinking the same thing. Soon as I watched, the first thing I said was "Whoa, that animation is looking really fluid! Props to the team on that."
As impressive as the fluidity is, I do kinda like the less fluid animation of the earlier episodes. It kinda makes the goofy parts of the characters punch more and makes things more irratic. The fluidity makes more sense when the moment is calm and the characters or more open with each other if that makes sense.

One thing that I want to mention is that I am really curious to see is Stella in this upcoming season. I really hope they don't make her into a one-dimensional bad guy.
I grew up around different people always cheating on each other, and all I can say is that stuff like that is always way more complex than just a good and bad guy. I do hope that she actually gets flushed out as a character.
Well yeah, it's already more then one dimensional. Stella is "the bad guy" for wanting to kill Stolas, but he's still "the victim" because she's the one that got cheated on. Stolas is simultaneously the jerk because he cheated but also a victim of a loveless marriage, where he clearly felt like he was trapped in and underappreciated, and Blitzø made him feel good (physically) and appreciated ("romantically").
There's no black and white, Stella has every right to be mad but Stolas's choice is at the very least understandable - he was going through a low period and someone made him feel important and desirable again after a long long time, you can't really blame him for wanting to be loved. At the same time, cheating is horrible and not excusable, and Stolas knows that Blitzø couldn't be much more than a secret lover because of the scandal of a hell prince with an imp.
So no, I wouldn't worry about the show making it one dimensional. Just look at Octavia and Stolas's relationship in Loo Loo Land, you can see it's complicated and portrayed as such.
I am not worried about that at all. So far they have done amazing job making even minor characters intricate and showing that they have a soft spot even if they're evil through and through.
I just hope that it’s more than what many are thinking between them. IE: Arranged/loveless marriage. I mean fine if it is, but spouting it as if it’s fact NOW is rather annoying because WE DONT know yet!
No Stolas’ incomplete statement doesn’t count as evidence nor is the fact they are royalty.
If it is, it is, fine. As boring a plot line as that would be(you may as well have just axed it completely frankly as there’s far more interesting ways), but at least wait for actual evidence.

I seriously was not expecting Vivzie to make Loona canonically act that way.
So, by the looks of it, i think the upcoming episodes will feature:
- A biltzo backstory episode (since we see him with stolas several times where stolas seems more hesitant, his is uncharacteristic of him. Plus, we see see blitiz several times with a younger fizz.)
- a return of striker (YES) and him having a showdown with m&m.

Yep, the title for Season 2 Episode 7 is actually called “MAMMON’S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli)” so it’s safe to say that the remaining animated sequences not depicted so far in Season 2 will be in this one. It’ll likely show a flashback of a concert hosted by Mammon Fizzarolli and Blitzø attended as teenagers prior to the accident on Fizz’s birthday (which is shown in one of Blitzø’s photos in Season 1 Episode 7 “Ozzie’s”) and then a performance by Fizz in present day as shown when Asmodeus tosses Fizz a baton with fire

After watching this in 0.25 speed. There are two things I found interesting.
One is during the shot Stryker does his flips, Moxxie and Millie's silhouettes are visible, but a third one is barely visible and it looks like Stolas is tied to rail tracks like one of those damsels in distress from old western movies.
And there is a very brief moment of what looks like another bird demon of high status, who I believe could be another of the Ars Goetia.

If you slow down the video, and look at around 0:53 seconds, where Fizz is reading the journal, you can see a picture of Asmodeus and Fizz hugging while the tagline claims Ozzie is a "HYPOCRITE", which is something I remember that people noticed on the first part: Ozzie and Fizzarolli act very caring with each other despite the whole lust thing they praise. This shows that all of that was ON PURPOSE.

To be completely honest, I'm mostly excited that we'll be seeing more of Striker. He's easily one of my favorite characters so far.
Norman reedus is the best and nobody can touch his level of acting skills

UPDATE HERE: The animators need a bit more time for the finale so don’t expect it in the next few days (it will be worth it tho because the finale will be epic). They said they’re pretty far along however so I’m gonna guess about 2-3 weeks still to go?(they didn’t really give a time frame) Good news is the episodes in S2 have progress so we will get those sooner than usual (also they’re longer eps!)😈 Hope that’s useful for anyone. ^.^

Everytime I watch an episode, I'm absolutely ASTOUNDED by how genuine the animation is. There's actual work put in to make these characters look realistic and 3D in a way I haven't seen since 1990's Disney movies. It's absolutely amazing.

-Loona and Blitzo are much closer (as pointed out by others
-Blitzo and Stolas haven’t made up yet
-We are going ro explore alot of backgrounds of the main characters (such as how blitzo and stolas met and even moxxies past as an assumed criminal)
-Aswell as moxxie and blitzo having a criminal/ deviant past i could see millie also fighting shark goons (thank you to the comments that pointed that out)
-i think its stolas, in one scene you can see a black hand reaching out to something with wires taped to his hand
-Loona seems to be enjoying her time as a human in earth
-A presumed human stolas
- Blitzo’s younger self had hair

I think there is more to that. Blizo and Stolas could've made up, but Blitzo's line about him only being wanted by Stolas for XXX could've had a lasting impact that he is afraid to make Blitzo think he is only a toy to him, blaming himself and wanting to give Blitzo relationship he craves (aka, he is working on himself and trying to prove he is not there for Blitzo only due to physical attraction). In the short it's Blitzo who comes onto Stolas, and we also see them later talking more friendly, like Blitzo telling him about some sort of scheme. Maybe Stolas will end up joining IMP for one day in human world for work trying to build connection with Blitzo and his gang, as we see a human looking like Stolas later.

I'm disappointed that this was the show that's getting all of the episodes and seasons. Hazbin Hotel is so much more interesting and has so much more potential to me. I keep hearing that a network has picked it up but it's been 3 going on 4 years since the pilot was released. If they were going to turn it into a series they would have by now. It just frustrates me I wish they would spend this time and energy making Hazbin episodes instead of helluva boss episodes. It's not even in production. I'm very disappointed that she sold the rights to Hazbin immediately and then not done anything with the show.

My money is on a24 having trouble managing and marketing their first animation project, but I do wonder if something fishy is going on. I know that sometimes book publishers will buy from an author in order to suppress a book that would otherwise compete with an already successful ip.
