So it probably goes overlords, princes/princess, ruler of the ring and then hells big boss, that being Lucifer Since we know basically nothing of alastor, only a few tid bits and actually shown feats we have no idea where to actual gauge him in the scales of power. Oh another fact, since alastor is a human soul turned demon he cannot leave the pride ring, which is pentagram city, and can't pass over his powers through an heir if he were to perish
@@discord4039 pretty sure vivzi said on a hunnicast live stream that stoles is more powerful but alistor would still win because stoles has wind up time for the big guns and Alistor doesn’t. So yeah, stolas is more powerful, from the words of….god herself? Can, can I make that joke here?
I really like how complicated Blitzo's thoughts on Stolas are. On one hand as he climbs up the mud starts disappering and he get out of his clown outfit, perhaps implying Stolas makes him feel better and Stolas asking him if hes afraid to love implies a lot by itself, but on the other hand the gilded chains shows he's well aware of the power inbalance and may think Stolas sees him as nothing but a play thing. As for Stolas, i do think he truelly cares for Blitzo but as his "impish plaything" comment shows, i dont know if he really conceptionalizes the power imbalance or his own bias and will likely need to be called out at some point.

This episode was surprisingly deep as well as hilariously funny, fantastic job! We also got a taste of Stolas's real power in this one, which was cool as hell

We all knew/know Stolas is VERY powerful. He's a demon prince. This is just the first time we've seen him be intimidating and dang. He scary. He starts moving and throwing objects around, possesses the agent, AND animates the corpses to draw his own summoning circle on the ground in their own blood, essentially summoning himself whether they like it or not..... all before even physically manifesting! That's a LOT of power right there.
When you realize Stolas is not just a dad doing his best - But also, remember that he is actually demonic royalty - And that title is not empty. His power is something I would LOVE to see more of.
@@Hjernespreng I mean,Stolas is a Goetia demon,he's just under the seven princes (and obviously Lilith and Charlie if my memory doesn't deceive me),he's like,a hell-born overlord whereas Alastor,Valentino and Vox,as an example, are earth-born people. So ye,he's awfully strong. He just doesn't show it unless necessary as we saw
@@Hjernespreng from what I understand alastor lacks pure overall power, he just has a very good kit of skills and is incredibly smart. So while he can possibly outplay a demon such as stolas, he would never beat him head to head in terms of raw power

The evolution of the animation. Pilot: just an animation Episode one: smoother animation Episode two: loo loo land Episode three: background attention improved Episode four: even smoother animation Episode five: quality skyrockets to shaders level. Episode six: the battle scene got a whole ass extra dimension to work with.
This episode made me think something is suspicious, something has to do with the resolution quality of youtube. I switched 1080p rez and it still has some background that's blurry. Oh and that has nothing to do with the animations, they're great. Just somehow compressed by the video encoding or something
everything up to including and past the lsd trip is just filled with the most expensive time-consuming animation you can get, I'm honestly surprised it didn't get delayed longer
El doblaje oficial no puede ser mejor, me encanta la adaptación de todo y desafortunadamente no hay buena manera de traducir el chiste de "chiflados" pero me encanta!!
This episode accomplished many things: -Blitz finally got to sing his musical dream. -We learn that Millie pegs Moxxie. -Loona and Millie have quality time together and Loona actually helps out quite a bit. -Blitz learns to take more responsibility for his actions. -Blitz and Moxxie finally opened up to one another. -Moxxie now refers to his boss by name and no longer “sir”. -Moxxie seems way more confident and has better chemistry with the cast. -Stolas is finally intimidating. -Blitz and Stolas are finally getting along better. Edit: Almost forgot, Stolas finally cursed without being censored.
People underestimate Moxxie man. He literally grabbed a Prince of Hells hand and removed it from Blitz with zero hesitation, when even Blitz was nervous about angry Stolas. Moxxie is a polite badass.

I love how Stolas's "true form" is more like a raven than his normal owl-y self, another connection to the ACTUAL depictions of Stolas in demonology as both a crowned owl with long legs and a raven. The amount of cultural research that went into him as a character is just... mad props
@@intiorozco5063 I'm honestly impressed that they used the _actual, fully-accurate_ demonic sigils in this show when a lot of creators purposely fudge the details or just make them up. Even Ari Aster altered Paimon's sigil for Hereditary while going hard on other details.

It's usually how it goes with bad trips, people use hallucinogens to do exactly what Blitz was experiencing. Basically it's how some people got/get over their depression, social anxiety, etc. Of course usually when someone uses something that makes them feel better fast, they usually get addicted, that's why its dangerous to take hallucinogens. Dont do drugs kids👍👍
@@Gamesgamelan that or they had a “factory reset” of sorts resulting from a truly bad trip known as an ego death. Or rather, the bad trip makes an ego death
I love how despite Millie's protests, Loona still closes the portal immediately when Blitz tells her to. I especially love the fact how she caught on to him being dead serious so quickly.
The sheer contrast between Blitz's and Moxie's bad trip is uncanny. Blitz: My reliance on others makes me feel so insecure I end up pushing people away in fear they will control me if they get too close. But I also fear I will never truly get close to anyone. Moxie: I fear rejection and being critisized for who I am
My goodness, Stolas' entrance is one of the best scenes in the series. It really showcases what he truly is: an extremely powerful demon who can be absolutely terrifying when he wants to be, which is a fact that's been often overlooked because his only role (up until this point) has been "haha sex jokes" and "angsty love interest". I hope Alastor gets a similar scene, where it isn't too short (like the "I would have done so already" scene) or played too comedically (like the scene where he takes down Sir Pentious).
I didn´t thought the takedown of Sir Pentious was too comedically. Summoning an eldritch horror with a snap of his fingers without prepeperation is enough badassery to show for a pilot.
The thing I fuckin love, after that bad trip Blitzø and Moxxie had, Blitzø made sure to take care and to simply appreciate all of his companions during the massacre, it's fuckin precious
"IT IS NO PRANK BITCH" Helluva Boss is getting better, the character development, the animation, the angles, the world building. And Stolis pulling up at the end was the most gangsta move since Alistor. Great Episode
Can you imagine the Hazbin Hotel pilot established Radio Demon as being head over heels more powerful than Stolas or most of other Hell Lords? I wonder if we'd get a glimpse of that as well. Just remembering that scene with "If I wanted to *hurt anyone here* I would have done so already"
@@TheWinjin If I recall Vivzie has addressed that in some Q&A. Stolas as Goecian Prince is on the same tier as Lucifer himself, even if a little lower on the pecking order of hell. Alastor is unfathomably powerful by the standards of the former mortal souls and probably stronger than Vox, Valentino and Velvet combined, but he is not stronger than Lucifer, Stolas or even Charlie, if she were to realize her full power.
They did tweet a hierarchy of demons at one point. Lucifer is the most powerful, under him is Lilith and Charlie, under them are the seven deadly sins, under them are the Ars Goitia, aka beings like Stolas, under them are the Overlords like Alastor or Valentino, under them are regular Hellborn demons like succibi, under them are sinners, under them are imps, under them are hell hounds
The two things that stand out to me most, as an animation nerd and theatre/choir brat, are: -badass fight scene I love these lil murderers so much you guys -Moxxie didn’t cut off the -n of fine very well. Diction is important, especially in a play. This says something about me
I feel like that little moment of Stolas leaning in for a kiss made Blitzø confused. He seemed to hesitate, like he was scared to actually take the affection. Which is why he changed the subject back to something sexually. He feels chained to Stolas as nothing more than a sex buddy. But I think they truly do care for one another.. Blitzø just can't bring himself to accept it.
People are saying their interactions here contradict finale part 1, but they really don’t. Blitz is having a hard time actually accepting that he and Stolas have feelings for each other and interprets every advance as nothing more than a part of their business transaction
Exactly. As though using bear traps and chains makes Blitz feel like he's in control and thus is making sure it isn't a closer relationship. Considering episode 7, Verosika sings that she was essentially giving all of the relationship, including pleasure, but he wouldn't do so back. While he was controlling, that means that he wasn't as sadistic as it shows with Stolas. Now he's even more careful about getting attached.
Melienna ah but remember the look Stolas had on his face, despite stating his obvious “affection” for Blitzø, when their affair was pointed out in Episode 7? He looked embarrassed by that then ashamed when the illusions of Octavia and Stella appeared. Hell he even calls Blitzø his “impish little plaything” in this very episode but acts surprised when Blitzø doesn’t return the gesture despite the obvious classism he as an Imp must go through, honestly Stella sounded more angry at Stolas for sleeping with an Imp (in their bed) than she was that he slept with someone full-stop. I’m certain his marriage to Stella was arranged, his line “I used to think love would be fun” in You Will Be Okay kinda hints at this, he (possibly her too) thought it would be fun but it’s since crumbled to dust so now Stolas is using Blitzø to fulfil that emotional (and physical) need he craves by bribing him with using the Grimoire while Blitzø just seems to endure to get what he wants. I’m honestly have no clue what Stolas’ deal is but at this point in the show, given how he talks to and about Blitzø, I honestly question the how genuine his feelings are 🤔🤔🤔
@@LadyLeomon Yeah on Stolas’ side its very messy, but Blitz has definitely been consistent with his trust issues, it doesn’t help his situation that Stolas is wishy washy with how genuine his love for Blitz is. If he really has truly fallen for him, than he needs to actually articulate it otherwise Blitz’s past is gonna make him think all they are is sex and nothing more.
@@heath6802 at this point I think that’s what Blitzø believes, hell I do too, if this _somehow_ ends up becoming a healthy relationship in a believable way then I’ll be genuinely impressed! Cheers 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

2:02 is still one of my favorite scenes 🤣 like normally they let Loona say/do whatever she wants to them, but Millie was having NONE of it while her pookie and bestie were in danger
I originally thought his relationship with Blitzo was just a perverted one-sided one. But now I'm kinda starting to see that it’s one of mutual true love.
Stolas' facial markings appeared on the agents face when he was possessing her, love the little details the animators put in during the scenes. The Summoning of Stolas has to be my favorite one so far due to the grotesque imagery and high ball intensity. Plus Blitzo's full on breakdown during his drug trip.
Errr...Weird question, but...Stolas kind of turned Agent 2's neck...all the way around and spat up a lot of her blood for that demonstration and...like, shouldn't she be in the hospital right now? Cause...that...can't be good for her health...

@@discord4039 u think so?? i think that Alastor is stronger actually
@@fluffycorn_0wO in terms of hierarchy overlords, which is what alastor is, would be quite high up however, not as high up as naturally born demons with royalty tied to them. So it probably goes overlords, princes/princess, ruler of the ring and then hells big boss, that being Lucifer
Since we know basically nothing of alastor, only a few tid bits and actually shown feats we have no idea where to actual gauge him in the scales of power.
Did you already watch the new episode? What do you eat that you predict things holly hell. I couldn’t stop thinking about this comment and had to come back to reply
@@sbobadilla Haha, I hadn't, but I do think that as painful as the newest episode was for these two that it was ultimately a good thing to have happened, at least Blitzo saying that comment at the end was.

Errr...Weird question, but...Stolas kind of turned Agent 2's neck...all the way around and spat up a lot of her blood for that demonstration and...like, shouldn't she be in the hospital right now? Cause...that...can't be good for her health...
The fact luna protected blitzø is so wholesome she just shows her love by being rude and "who wants some quilty time with daddy~)
Love how Stolas just disciplines the imps as if they were children after saving them
Except for maybe Blitzø 😳
it shows how he still definitely sees them as lesser than as imps
@@peachcorp0871 or more, he could be proud and didnt wanna be too harsh, look at the LooLoo Land episode, he was the same way with his daughter. Maybe he thinks of them as true family since he doesnt really have one himself
I love how blitz disciplined stolas after being saved 😊🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hope he doesn't treat all children like he does with Blitz
i genuinely think that blitzø's drug trip is one of the most stunning pieces of television i have ever seen and overall the animation in this episode is just utterly mind blowing
Agreed.
go watch pikachu on acid it’s way better then their drug trips
absolutely
I wouldn't be surprised if the fight scene took the team several months
@@flamingopersonn me either!!
Why is nobody talking about Blitzo's dialogue in Moxxie's dream it's fucking hilarious
"It Is No Prank, Bitch"
"Heyyyy, why do you sound like that?"
"Because You, My Pretty Little Bitchboy,"
"Stop it, sir-"
"Are T R I P P I N G B A L L S"
The voice acting in this scene was just- impeccable. Amazing. Unfathomable. Best moment in the whole episode. This specific dialogue combined with this specific intonation created a perfection that should be immortalized.
Balls, heh
Agree.
"My lungs are full of honesty..would you promise me that you wont judge"
"YEES..BIIIITCH!" 🤣👍
This was my favorite line in the whole episode
Goddamn I laughed so hard.
for me right now you have exactly 420 likes. I was gonna like this then realized.
EL TEAM ROCKET A SIDO VENCIDO UNA VEZ MAS: el capitulo
Can we please just talk about how amazingly animated moxxie’s trip was? Every motion was so fluid. It was like Disney rated
I thought it was gonna be a Disney reference at first 💀
@@imready8828 I mean, I'm kinda getting Fantasia vibes.
I'll be surprised if it's animated on traditional
@Teawy I don’t think they forgot anything, it was really probably done on purpose. They would never let this get away, and remember, it’s supposed to be a drug trip.
I love how Stolas was both Terrifying and Caring in this episode!
@oky why are people spamming this shit all over the place...
It's all about presentation.
Care-ifying... you could say...
Moxxie: *Gets an awesome musical number.*
Blitzø: *Gets a PTSD induced Acid Trip.*
Moxie's song number was my favorite.
Blitz has a lot more sjit to get over. Hence, he has the harsher 'bad' trip
Given everything Mox has gone through, he deserves to have his first acid trip be a good one.
@@jeremyfuster7570 i feel like blitz deserved better in his trip, but i also think it was very well needed so we could see a more in depth, emotional side of him
😂
