Travis Scott's ASTROWORLD was released on August 3, 2018 by Grand Hustle Records. ASTROWORLD is the follow up to his second album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. I’ll never forget this album . This came out when I was going into my freshman year of college , a really transitional period I would say but it came out in the perfect time in my life . This was also the first concert I’ve ever went to

Rich Porter Lyrically Queen probably won’t keep me captivated but I love Nikki’s flow/technical skill when she’s rapping. Her delivery against the production is what attracts me to the songs. I’ll take someone that can straight rap over an auto tuned vibe.

Astroworld is not a classic lol it's also not iconic. Rodeo was his first complete project and is therefore iconic, this was was like birds music for the masses

I agree. I liked this album more than I thought I would and felt the reason it worked as well as it did was because Travis stayed as consistent throughout this whole album.

Rashaun Richardson now it wasn’t lol like at all. Rodeo has misses. And has a intro speaking TI & Outro and that’s it. Astro is more cohesive. And more consistent. No skips.

Astroworld is definitely Travis’s best album to date. This is gonna be a classic for years to come. The sounds the beats and the switch ups were all fire on this album. Features were good too.

I love this album. This album is out of this (astro)world🌎😏. I'm getting some good replay value from this album. It's not perfect but still an enjoyable album. Travis Scott did a great job. Anyways, thanks for reviewing this album.
I review music too but only rock and metal. I feel like i'd struggle with reviewing a rap album since that there is a lot to talk about.

Agree with fefo on the voice consistency point (3:50). The beats switch up and so does his flows, if his voice did too then idk how tf he gon do that signature autotune stuff with that. Good point tho, but does his voice really NEED to switch up if the beats are switching up constantly?
Astroworld is my favorite album of the summer.
Some of y'all are wondering why they liked Astroworld more than Rodeo. Even though I think Rodeo is solid album, it had more common with the modern trap styles of today, Astroworld is more akin to soulful Southern hip hop. To me, to just call Astroworld trap music doesn't do it justice, this album is homegrown Southern hip hop fused with modern day trap stylings.
