- Kanye West has made more noise this year for his antics than his music. That has changed. Kanye West dropped Ye on June 1st, 2018 after holding a listening session in Wyoming. The album is 7-tracks total and 24 minutes in length. Here is the Dead End Hip Hop album review of Kanye West's latest album 'Ye.' Let us know what you think of it in the comment section.

About Dead End Hip Hop:
No scripts. It's pure unfiltered hip hop conversations and album reviews. No politics. No BS. We Are The People.
Reviewing this album was a choice
TRUE
LMAO
When you trying to review an album for 400 years, that sounds like a choice!
I would've rather had that Jericho Jackson review
TheAlphawolf6 Beezy reviewed it on his BEEZY430 channel.
intro killed me lmao
edit: nah the whole video killed me
It’s the legend himself
They made u look like a kanye stan tho Lmfao
Shawn Cee with the Nike tee
Honestly
Shawn Cee You guys should do a collab.
Beezy boycotted this whole conversation 😂
William Cooper he's an elitist you can't blame him
William Cooper I respect B more for it. If any white artist said half the shit Kanye does. Hip hop would've got them the fuck outta here.
Dez Ross
EXACTLY
Since when is 808's and Heartbreak bad album?
808s separates the old school boom-bap heads from the new school synth-rap heads. No shade, I like all the beats that these mumble kids come on top of even if I don't like their raps, but I see people my age tuning out before the raps even come in because new shit doesn't sound like premo or dillah, it sounds like the weeknd, i.e., 808s.
Mark Pippins So who’s side is it? Because I’m an old school hip hop head and 808’s is my favorite Kanye album.
That makes you unusual, in my opinion. I don't particularly like Kanye, can't say that I have a favorite record of his or an opinion about which is the worst, but (at nearly 50,) I see that my friends in my age group would rather hear 100 beats like Jeru the Damaja's than sit through one of Drake's Weeknd-produced beats.
I don't think that one is better than the other, but I'm one of those people who'd rather at least check out a new record one time than hear Shook Ones for the zillionth time.
Since always. That's where the divide came from. Millennials who like todays music liked that shit.
Beezus
Aero 😂😂😂😂
Beerus
Bleezus
Ken genuinely can’t understand how someone can enjoy something he doesn’t lol. The telltale sign of an oldhead
@M C Nah that's something that oldheads do all the time
M C It isn’t though. The original comment said nothing about not understanding why Ken doesn’t like the album. So either you can’t read or you got comprehension problems.
@M C Ah, so you're an old head yourself which is why you're getting mad offended over this lmao
@@TheIntenseLime side tangent here, but lmao at your name.
Ken hates Kanye
Probably the funniest shit Beezy has ever said on this show 😂
I think he was funniest on the first A$AP Rocky review lol.
ahah, respect though because a lot of people were talking about "Kanye is cancel" on twitter and when the album came they went straight listening to it
prod. twenty couldnt agree more😂😂
Agreed. I feel a little guilty listening to the album so probably not going to listen to it much now that I know its nothing special (and very disappointing). Will Kanye ever make another great album? Jay came back with 4:44 so I have some hope
Farah Abdulahi didn't really fw Holy Grail, so I was surprised when 4:44 dropped. Only 2 or 3 tracks I don't like on the project but it's great overall.
"Kanye West fans hated our Ye Album Review | DEHH Convo" incoming
barbwireboy2 DEHH need this to happen, kanye fans will defend him no matter what he says, this is coming from a person who enjoys kanye's music, but won't defend or agree with the fuckshit he says
barbwireboy2 still don't see it or the hate in the comments
Lol Unfortunately They won't do it no matter how much backlash they get from Ye's fans Cole and his fans are the only ones they like to over expose and make fun of they have 0 objectivity towards Cole especially Myke and Ken its like they've made up their mind that Coles wack before even listening to his music Lol it's good that at least Feefo for the most part always tries to be fair and honest and not just come across as blindly hating on someone like Cole
Poopity scoops in the whip
CASSO BLVCK in the whoop*
Album definitely bumps. Ken and Beezy are salty
Welcome back Lvrd Blck
Poopity scoopty scoopy poop
😂😂😂💀
Ken said ghost town had element of yeezus....WTF lol it had no yeezus vibes at all
Maybe the lasers and chaotic kicks that come in on the end?
Ken honestly thinks Kanye has "tricked" people into liking this album? Instead of people just, you know, actually enjoying it?
Arne Vochten he hated yeezus so why would he like this?
Yeah Kanye definitely tricked anyone who liked this album
In the Woods Him disliking it is fine, it's the way he dismisses people who do that bothers me.
1's Bundy nah I just like it I wasn’t tricked
Arne Vochten he clearly has an agenda.
i liked how feefo actually asked Kinges problem with Kanye West i been waiting for someone to challenge him on that coz he do seem like a Kanye hater 😂
Ghost Town is one of the most gorgeous songs Kanye has ever released
Scott Urwin really
It's one of the most over praised badly sung low standard pieces of trash I've ever heard.
Amen, Tash. AMEN!
You joking?
Sounds like it was mixed by someone who just started producing that day, it was all over the place.
I like when Myke and Feefo agree. It’s like when the Emo older sister and the jock kid brother find out they both like something.
Is Myke the emo sister 😂
You know what you did.... cause now we gotta ask........ which is which ? :D
The reason it doesn't "feel like Kanye" is because it's super raw and genuine. This is the only Kanye album where he removed the character he usually portrays between himself and the listener. It almost feels like you're literally in the same room with him as he gives you an honest tour of his thoughts and mental health. I fully understand why people don't fuck with it because musically speaking, it's not as grand as his other albums. But for someone who can really relate and actually cares about Ye as a person, this album has done a ton for me this past week.
Good insight
Primetime Goody man this shit Wack
MBDTF feels genuine, Graduation feels genuine
Kanye himself said that he scrapped his original album after the TMZ / Slavery incident, it's not genuine at all
Please stop lying to yourself... this was a miss
Graduation feels genuine? How? 80% of that album is him being drunk of his own success. I like Graduation very much and love it musically speaking but it was also the first big step away from the 00s Kanye to this 2010s Kanye.
Kinge the oldest dude here but the most immature.
Really? No, I'd say that's definitely Myke. Not liking Kanye doesn't make him immature.
I meant on this review! Kinge is actually my favorite!
You can definitely see Ken isnt even trying to be objective here. Mycke feefo and Rod tried to actually give a good review.
all reviews are subjective
Eoda exactly but you should strive for objectivity and focus on the music it self not whether or not you like the person. It's an album review not a kanye review
Ken and Beezy are salty cause the DNC brainwashing runs deep
yea but most of Kanye's music is about him and his life, so you can't really separate them.
trash comment ziggy
How is 808s so bad? It's a complete project with a coherent theme and the lyrics can be pretty sad
AQGOAT24 Exactly. 808s and heartbreak was a good album, people just wasn't prepared to see him singing as much as he did on that album. I believe in allowing an artist to explore new avenues, but a lot of people don't think like that.
Majority of the lyrics sound like terrible hooks stretched out over an entire song. The only reason it has got a pass is because it was by a rapper in 2008. There's no way a singer wouldn't be mocked for those lyrics on the majority of that album. The production is still mostly good though.
I have to ad that hip hop heads from the 90s held Kanye to a high regard and that album was a shock because of the singing, raw emotion and auto tune . Not to mention it ushered in a new brand of hip hop that “purest” think is trash
Shaun Wright Exactly.
It's not hip hop, and it's more pop and cheesy than NSync and Backstreet Boys combined, so hip hop fans who remember Takeover and Lucifer started wondering why anyone ever gave Kanye a microphone. 808s is comparable to Britney more than Wu Tang.
As soon as Kinge said 808s was trash I stopped listening to anything he had to say tbh
MagicKINGD3000 shit made my jaw drop. Ken tripping
True!
Y’all should watch the review, he went innnnn on it
... Y can't people listen to other peoples opinions that they don't agree with? smh
It's still one of Kanye's weakest album no matter how you look at it
Beezy became my new fav in the crew 20 seconds into the video 😂
He's my second, my opinion on music is too simpactico with myke , my fav
Why? Are you brainwashed by the media too?
@@tidalcliff2202 Sheep lol
Kinge is mixing his personal feelings into this smfh
Esoteric African yeah that’s usually how music works !
1's Bundy nah he's affected by the politics of Ye lately rather than giving an objective opinion. It's obvious
Esoteric African objective opinon?
Esoteric African no such thing as an objective opinion lol
wah wah I don't like he wore a MAGA hat wah wah I hate Kanye
Ken literally got 0 objectivity when it comes to ye
Appreciate the new video though guys Tysm!
Can't blame him. Ye hasn't been good in 8 years.
David Camino music definitely can be objective to an extent.
Music is subjective and Kanye stans have been trying to claim he objectively creates masterpieces.
and snarky hipster know it all's think he's objectively trash. what a world
David Camino ...no such thing?? Why?
Beezy a real one
for real, i didn't listen either and i won't ever
Omni Watts y’all are missing out
That don't make you real just weak minded
"weak minded" and no, no one is missing out .
Dylan Connely i meant that he stood by his beliefs and didn't back off of them like alot of people would just to make it look like they care about political issues.
Y’all should have videos where you guys debate albums with Fantano.
I think they only did once, before I even knew who Fantano was
I came in with no expectations that's probably why I enjoyed it. I met Kanye where he is and the picture he's painting instead of what I want for him to paint. He's an artist, what else would we expect from an artist?
Pele Kama exactly this is ye at his most personal self.. as the needledrop said it’s ye at his most flawed and the lyrics depict that perfectly
To make dope album
Pele Kama damn you’re beautiful.. can you come back and do videos? Lol
Check out Metro Zu
That's so wonderfully explained and the reason I loved it too :)
WILL DEAD END HIP HOP EVER REVIEW '808S & HEARTBREAK'? I JUST WANT TO SEE KINGE'S REACTION THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE THING
we need a sequel to the lil b review with ken and feefo going at it over 808s
YE: Yearly Experiments. Kanye is an extraterrestrial being sent to conduct social experiments and record the data for his alien race. Each publicity stunt helps the beings prepare the intergalactic takeover. However, I am able to separate the art from the artist because this album is great, despite the galactic war behind it. Keep asking questions.
Our Founding Liars felt
Shut up fool🤦🏾♂️
JAY-ABC Brown is a disinformation agent. Be careful.
Our Founding Liars nah. Albums not good to me.
James Robins admittedly the last part of the comment was just my opinion.
They way I feel about Ye is the same way Myke feels about TLOP. I think it’s great but I completely understand why people dont
Ghost Town sounded like a mess? That was the best track imo
Idc for PND, but that nigga sounded beautiful.
Flirtatious Turtle it was a beautiful mess
Honestly? Myke C it's always the only reasonable person in DEHH on every review of an "not traditional hip hop" record
True.. He's non partisan
Him and feefo really. Feefo most of the time may not like a project but he always gives it a fair review
He’s always the best reviewer
What's wrong with Beezy
I liked this album for it’s simplicity and how straightforward it was
GewoonRood exactly lol I don't need overdone stuff
Pushas album was the same way, except had bars
Cordney Stewart You already lost if you're coming to a Kanye album for bars
Kanyes albums had bars in the past(CD, LR, Grad, MBDTF), but this is pathetic.
Esoteric African but when he overdoes stuff you call him a genius.
Kanye gets such a pass when it comes to lyrics it’s insane
The Vanity like the outcome one? His lyrics are usually good.
How? His lyrics are usually good or at least funny/iconic
How
@@jpeg204his lyrical ability has been declining since MBDTF. TLOP had maybe two songs with good lyrics.
Yeah because he's not a lyricist and has been adamant about that from the beginning
Beezy 😂😂😂😂😭😅😭👌🏾 I respect it
Beezy salty
Ken just doesn't like Kanye's style of music.
The hate pushes your hairline back Ken, cut it out.
In Rob’s Opinion he's damn near bald. he should just give into the bald side and let the hate consume him.
Lmaoooooo
Ken ain't insecure; he doesn't even dye his beard. He don't have money like Kanye (aka Mr. Lipo man) for baldness procedures.
Ken is on savage mode right now
In Rob’s Opinion 😂😂
Ken took this way too personally. Feefo appreciates the art and will bump it in the whip because the antics don't bother him. Myke pissed it was only 7 songs but ultimately dissapointed. Beezy thought this shit was just plain whack. I watched the live stream and thought it was fire and been playing it ever since/ cant wait for KIDS SEE GHOST tomorrow....
Yo Rod Imma need you to tone it down with the laughing at the beginning. Got me waking up my whole family this morning.
TheRealestBeaner bruh.
TheRealestBeaner the fakest shit
It's honestly been getting on my nerves... Stop Rod
XdkX A Stop.... Laughing?
RJ Baldwin ....Not necessarily man it's fun to see them enjoying themselves and joking , he's just been fake laughing to hype up the intros for a while now...its getting annoying ...hes a cool dude . But stop
I tend to disagree with Feefo quite often, but its becoming more and more obviously that Ken is not able to escape his bias. He actually is not reviewing the albums unless he likes them. The dialogue is dismissive and gives you nothing to explore as far as angles of thought.
Obviously this is their chanel and Ken is becoming a Skip Bayless type character in the way that he seems to already have an opinion on the artist going in which clouds his ability to be objective or even admit his own biases. To be clear there is also a bias towards Kendrick Lamar.
There also seems to be an obsession with "the fans/stans" that also shows this consistent inequity in viewpoints. For instance the group has belittled the Kanye/Cole fans for their "blind support" of their music but seem to ignore the fact that Kendrick has the same type of fan base. If they like the music than its all good, but if they don't the people are idiots. Ehh. That's kinda cringy.
With all fairness, this hasn't always been the case but I have noticed it recently, and I try not to fall into this type of thinking: I mean we all are fanboys to some extent, but the goal should be to be honest without being a polarized thinker.
Myke is interesting in this way. He tends to bring something a little different, and most times he attempts to at least explain himself. Though he jumps into boxes and castigates the fans time to time, especially when he gives them the mentally disabled voice.
Breezy just shows no energy when he doesn't like something and is disengaged from the conversation.
For me, the draw to this group is the diversity of angles and viewpoints. If they fall into a rut where they just dismiss unilaterally(outside of Feefo) without actually critiquing it takes away from their brilliant dynamic.
...all and all I love the platform. Keep at it!
Ken is the most open minded of the crew and an OG. He's just sick of Kanye's antics. There might be a bias towards Kendrick because there's no one fucking else. Tear him down, then what? Besides that, I think he shouted out DEHH before.
Upful Soul, respectfully being the most open minded in a group of people is not the same as being unbiased. I am also very aware of his "opinion" of Kanye personally. That is literally the point of what I am saying they are reviewing music, not people.
Secondly, Kendrick is not the only good MC out there. There are plenty
Skyzoo
Elzhi
Saba
Joey Bada$$
Evidence
Fashawn
Nick Grant
Big Krit
KA
Roc Marciano
Earl Sweatshirt
Vince Staples
Wiki
Lupe
....and on and on.
This is not a "radio" review. It is a hip-hop review. A critique of the show or its hosts is not the same as a personal attack.
Darryl Miller everyone has their biases. You have yours, I have mine, and so does the rest of the DEHH. One would say you’re even showing your bias for getting mad that one person out of the 3 that listened to the album didn’t like what you liked.
Darryl Miller Why do yall niggas keep bringing up Kendrick? His name was not said ONCE in this review
Venonous Villain, one would be wrong for saying that because I didn't say either thing.
I am not mad, that is an assumption. In addition, I didn't like the album, which is also an assumption. Stating that everyone has bias has nothing to do with what I commented about. I was talking about having an actual critique, not implying that bias is escapable.
To discount something without giving critique is problematic for a platform that reviews art. Hopefully that clarifies the statement.
mykes shirt is sick
"I played the album to Beezy and asked him what he thought, he sat back and smiled" - Saint Pablo
Who else peeped myke's dope-ass t-shirt?
highkey Mykes shirt is off the chain
For real
If this was an EP people wouldn’t be so critical. I think the album succeeds in what it sets out to do: explore Kanye’s conflicted and confused psyche in this short time period.
When you compare this to how bad Revival was it’s far ahead and ultimately won’t damage Kanye’s career.
The fact that Eminem released one of the WORST records I’ve ever listened to is completely beyond me. I haven’t revisited it once.
Soooo we should celebrate it because it's better than Revival??
What does Eminem have to do with anything and they shit on Revival, so what was your point? Why are you comparing it to Revival at all?
This review seems to be a bit emotionally driven
Bruce Leroy u think lol
Bruce Leroy kind of like the majority of Ye fans when talking about Ye and his greatness
LMFAO BEEZY A REAL ONE
more like childish
808's and Heartbreak is a classic
Maryann Appiagyei doesn’t matter if it’s not traditional rap you’re incredibly boring
Joe Street Jr. agree
It’s the most influential of the 21st century
@Prepare your ass because pablo ?
@@Measuredingrahams Carter III or Get Rich or Die Tryin' or MDTF or TPAB or Drogas Wave are the most influential albums.
You get the point
the 'all mine' chorus is definitely my favorite on the album.
🎶 damn dat ass bustin' out the bottom 🎶 😂
Says Èbro 😒 lol
Steban Pulido naw he wrote the hook on yikes
Uncle Elroy
Damn, you right!!! my bad.
You alone in that lmao
Louis Gregoire she really not, that hook is the most creative one
Kanye said that he had a whole other album done before this and then after the TMZ shit he made YE in like 2 weeks. I LOVE Ye. But I also heard the album live during the stream on May 31. And that changed it for me completely. Seeing him and all his friends enjoying the album and then him talking about being happier and off the drugs he was on made me happy. Because I'm a Stan. That's all I have to say.
And I appreciated how Ye rapped on the album. He rapped similar to 2010 and 2011. With the rhymes. He rhymed more than one word at a time and he seemed like he crafted his verses with care even if some of the concepts and beats and whatever may seem very one take or less perfected And that's because it was. He wrote it and recorded it fast. The album cover even was taken on his iPhone on that night of May 31. Also, "Ghost Town" was originally supposed to be on Kids See Ghosts, So some of these songs he took his time on.
But I'm biased af. Yeezus is my second fave album and next is 808s. Dark Fantasy being #1 so ya'll in the comments probably think I'm crazy. But fuck it,. Kanye Stan. Til I die.
Kim said kanye made the album in 3 days.
Ilovemymom Mynigga some of great songs are produced by Kanye
Source?
Tbh I don't believe it just because they said it. Might be true but it might also be something said just to try to impress people more. When Kanye says he "redid the whole album," I'd wanna know what his definition of redo is. Because if much of the same general ideas, techniques, samples etc were used, just with some major changes then I wouldnt call that a redo. Let's not forget that he voluntarily showed up to TMZ last minute saying things that were inevitably and obviously going to get a mixed reaction. Deep down he knew this when he walked into TMZ and probably did it to push himself to the finish line with a bit more inspiration. He has explicitly stated before that he loves being at the center of controversy. What better way to get the pistons firing that to fan the flames and then rap about it?
Best case scenario, even if he did technically scrap everything from before, on a subconcious level, all of that work still served as a subconcious foundation for what the released album ended up being.
Ilovemymom Mynigga Neither of them were created in a weekend. The Black Album was created in a month.
It also seems like they've already made their minds up about Kanye just because of his comments the past few months. Like they aren't judging the album solely for it's content but also for their perception of him, which shouldn't be a factor in the review of the album.
THIS COMMENT RIGHT HERE !!!!
i disagree. especially with the review with donda that just came out. Kanye just does shit that you can’t ignore before albums, and i wouldn’t say it’s biased or should be a non factor in the review. MBDTF is a great example of this
Underwhelming album but still an ok album.
Today I had a terrible day, this review made my day. Thanks DEHH
Charlemagne claims this album is way different than the one Kanye let him hear
*you not mike*
I love this very flawed album and I totally understand why anyone wouldn't like it
ShatterGlassProject Yeah there are tons of issues with the lyrics and concept but the flows, melodies, beat arrangements were just great
Depends I guess, I personally don't always care for the arrangements
About the whole mental health thing, and maybe this is because I'm bipolar and I get it, but he gets the right to say it when he wants, that being said, he does have a responsibility and should have said more, 7 tracks, with some not even being that good, was too short
ShatterGlassProject Yeah he should’ve had more tracks so he could’ve gone into more depth
I don’t normally enjoy Kanye but this is my favorite project of his
Honestly I thought it was one of his best projects but hey to each there own 💁🏽♂️
I haven’t been watching y’all almost all year lol....dope videos. New cd is dope af...but he will never equal mbdtf
Best channel on RUclips, most original content with five different voices, styles, and personalities, keep em comin DEH!!
“I thought about killing you” was him talking to himself. The different pitches and vocal inflections show his different “personalities” speaking to his being bipolar. The “you” was himself. It was just him being suicidal on wax. The whole “they’ll say HE died so young” is about kanye, since when is Kim a he? Do y’all even look at the lyrics anymore?
people explained the first track is him talking to himself. he wants to kill that part of him but he loves himself not to..its pretty relatable..if i could kill that side of me that was broken i would..but i would also go down...os its a constant battle. i like that interpretation.
Yeezus is fire when you re-listen to it, I hated it when it dropped
Hayden Eden Yeezus makes my ears feel like they’re on fire
You hated it because everybody else hated it it wasn't a bad album at all it was just ahead of it's time
no
I actually liked it after the first listen
xman192837 "ahead of its time" loooooool sit down man
Ken need to stop fucking with 808’s bruh he dont want that smoke
BEEZY, BEEZY TROLLING OD, HUH
Ken, I love it. I'm italian, from Rome. No pressure on liking Kayne from here and never liked an entire project of his before
070 Shake is the best part of this album I
Damn feefo wanted to swing on Mr Ken
Why Ken😭😭😭
Fee and Myke Sizzle are right he didn’t try he crapped this out and what a wonderful crap it was
This is like his Untitled Unmastered but arguably lower quality. Except Ghost Town best song of the 21st century
Dej was dope too
I love this album.. Sonically very interesting. Lyrics could of been abit better but i like the song concepts and themes
The hook to "all mine" sounds like a turkey having its testicles tickled
Commenting for support. This channel is what hip hop/rap needs.
Agree with Fantano. Personally i really enjoyed the album, 8/10.
It's funny when they talk about All Mine's hook. I also felt like the hook was weird and not dope...now we're in 2023 where tons of artists makes falsetto weird and chopped up sounding hooks. It's pretty much standard now lol This album was actually ahead of its time for better or worse in a lot of ways.
It wasn't my favorite Kanye album. In fact, I disliked it for a long time, and came back to appreciate the things about it that I couldn't appreciate because I was disappointed by the lackluster parts of the album. That being said, this album still sounds cool in a lot of ways in 2023. As much as I don't care for some of the verses, Ye personified his mental state (which became much more apparent as years progressed) incredibly well and this ended up being more of a period piece about his mental illness than I think people realized at the time.
Y’all put your emotions first in this review 😒
A. A. Yup. The salt was heavy
*Ken did
Ken did. Myke, Feefo and Rod were being real
DUGGA 666 😂😂😂
This is how I felt after the first listen but as I listened more I started liking the album way more
Bro let him talk this is so annoying sometimes. I wanna hear what y'all gotta say but I can't hear cuz y'all yelling and laughing over eachother
Thewdd it was way too much this time
That's part of the reason I love this show. It's kind of like when you're laughing with your friends and having a fun time. And they aren't all yes men. Everyone has their own unique opinions.
They’ve literally gotten worse over the years reviewing. If people are coming to listen to y’all reviews and wanna hear what y’all honestly think and critiquing the album it is irritating as fuck to me personally when they half review or like kinge act like other people are crazy cuz their opinions aren’t like his and they never now seem interested in the reviews it’s like they just do them just because. I don’t wast his them as much as i use to now.
illWillOfficial
don’t watch. simple fix.
Thewdd Then gtfo
8:22 Its funny, because that's what TI said about Lift Yourself when he visited him. He has gotten to a point where he feels like he can put out anything and people will eat it up and call it gold, and if you look at the reactions to his work, good or bad, he's not wrong.
You could almost say he's become complacent, simply due to the amount of praise he always gets, there's no real reason for him to do something innovative, like we know he's capable of.
If he really started releasing trash people would get bored though. Only reason anybody pays attention is cause of how good he once was. tbh I liked the new album though, solid 7.5/10.
we also have to realize that kanye doesnt have to prove anything anymore.
well he doesnt need to make music at all. he obviously makes music because he wants to. ye isnt for everyone, it isnt mdtf. i dont think it makes him lazy just because "ye" wasnt what you wanted it to be.
James Burgess J. Cole said the same thing in False Prophets
James Burgess
🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌 could anyone be more clearer than you?
The album was a hot mess but the all mine hook was stuck in my head and ghost town is the best song. The Kerry Washington, Naomi Campbell and stromi daniels lines stuck in my head thinking on them. Lmao Beezy is a fool but the man stood his ground
Ralphie Brothaman Those two songs and no mistakes we good and the chorus violent crimes that's it. I expected more.
Thank you Bruh the die hard stans really said this is an amazing project it was very below average
The Vanity it has like 3good songs
It only has 7 songs, why compare it to his previous projects with like over a dozen songs?
First time ever that I’m with Feefo on this. That’s all I have to say.
He redid the entire album after the TMZ interview. He did all this in 3 weeks. The previous album he was working on for over a year
I'd put this album between TLOP and 808s. No Mistakes is the best track for me by far, it has straight up Graduation / Late vibes
Also Kanye said that he scrapped his original album after the TMZ / Slavery incident so yes this was rushed
Didn't love a Kanye project since MBDTF
Yeezus and Ye are my two favorite Kanye albums but I love everything he’s done.
It’s hard to enjoy the album fully when you know damn well Kanye didn’t work as hard as he could have on making the album perfect
where's the asap rocky album review.
Marian Jones they're testing it....
The album was great to me real talk
LMAO Beezy a real one. And S/O to Ken, he was funny af in this review and he was right about everything he said about Kanye.
The album was good to me
Feefo was shaking in anger trying to control himself while hearing Myke say not so good things about Kanye's Album. Salute to Kinge for telling it how it is and Breezy for completely not boycotting the album.
If you just hate Kanye as a person or any artist you shouldn’t review their music because then you’re not just reviewing the music you are just venting about how you feel about the artist
Ken Kessler That's why Beezy opted out for this one. The rest of them were just unimpressed by this because they all know Kanye is capable of WAY more.
"Ye" is a cool album. I can't put it higher than that cuz like Feefo n Rod eluded to, it just sounded unfinished...like Kanye had some cool ideas but didn't fully realize them.
I think with Kanye what we seeing now is his creative juices are being used more effectively for other artists. Pusha album sounded insane and Kanye still producing Teanna, Nas, and the Cudi collab albums. Kanye was a producer first and it seems creating for other people is his comfort zone right now cuz he himself and his music are lost right now. I expect the album with Cudi to be alot more fleshed out.
the album was meh.
Rust Cohle facts!
Damn first push vs drake then uzi vs rich then 69 vs chief keef now feefo vs kinge 2018 got beef everywhere💀💀💀
Myke's arms are shining brighter than Ken's future
The 808s slander is crazy
Let's talk about Myke's fresh ass shirt tho
I feel the albums nakedness almost plays to the album’s strength. It’s fits in a place with his discography, cause he already has plenty of maximalist albums.
Feefo a lowkey academic
Kanye being bipolar completely makes sense to me. I've been diagnosed bipolar at a very young age and something people don't know about being bipolar is that you don't just get extreme depression but you also go through bouts of mania. When that mania hits that's when your ego inflates, you hardly sleep, you work harder on projects, you never shut up, you act dangerously thinking nothing can get you, become easily irritated and in the more extreme bouts of mania you may also become delusional. The delusions can become border line schizophrenic the only difference is we don't hallucinate things. One time during an extreme episode of mania, combined with MDMA which only intensified it, I thought I was the devil and I was kicked out of heaven for fucking too many angels. To me songs like Ghost Town remind me of manic episodes. I feel like, while he doesn't really talk about or address being bipolar, this album is more of a product of being bipolar. Just wish that it wasn't a rushed, unpolished and half finished project. Also, I don't make excuses for my or his behavior because being bipolar isn't an excuse. He has all the power to get help and prevent his shitty behavior from happening. Myke's shirt is awesome.
That Black Thought reference at the end....Myke a fool
I went in expecting a really good project after Pusha T’s classic and walked away feeling like I was bamboozled. NOTHING was addressed, questions that weren’t asked were answered and it felt rushed and uninspired
#ThankyouBeezy 🙏🏾🙏🏾
My Theory:
I Thought About Killing You is about J.Cole for calling him out as a False Prophet. Also J.Cole has a song called "Premeditated Murder" .
