Boy, that sure is a handy device! I have a pressure canner/cooker, but it's kind of a pain having to keep such a close eye on the pressure gauge. I make yogurt almost every week, and this would sure make it a lot easier.
If the chicken skin is still intact, you can cut a small slit a couple inches above the opening and pop the legs through, instead of tying them with string. Sometimes the skin can be too fragile for this, but when it works, people will think you're a real pro.
Thanks for reviewing this; I've been wondering about these things for a while now. The more I learn about them, the more I think I'd make really good use of it.
And thanks for thinking about your viewers, too. That's really good of you to arrange a giveaway with your product review. You're good people, Daniel.
Great videos I’ve learned a lot from y’all about homesteading 👍🏻
Funny, I've been telling the hubby I want an Insta Pot for Christmas! Winning one of these would be a fantastic Christmas gift! Blessings to you and yours!
I have a 10 quart and I absolutely love mine! Try a Mississippi pot roast in yours so yummy, one of my favorite thing to cook in mine is potato salad, I peel my potatoes and chop them up to the size I want for my salad, I put a strainer in, to keep them out of the water, then I salt them, and then I put the raw eggs in the shell on top of the potatoes and cook them together! When they come out I dump the potatoes in a bowl and pop in the fridge, the eggs I put in a bowl with cold water as soon as I can handle them, I peel them and pop them in the fridge to cool! While everything is cooling, I chop my celery, green onions, pickles and drain my olives! I use to hate making potato salad, (which is one of my family's favorites) because of how long it took, now it is a piece of cake! Oh, one more thing we love is pork chops, layer them down on top of each other, I then sprinkle Au jus mix on top with about 3 TBLS of the mix, then I add about a half a cup of water and cook! I know the mix is beef base but it is yummy, serve with rice or potatoes! They are hard to get out because they want to fall apart! I make my own mix because I have to have Gluten Free, just google for the recipe, same for the time for your pressure cooker Potato salad recipe! I hope you love your P cooker as much as we love ours!
Amazing! I don't know anyone who wouldn't want one of these. The chicken looks delicious, enjoy Y'all! Thanks and best wishes to the winner.
Good review Daniel, I am sure that the company will be happy for your support. Love to win this bad boy!
Thanks for thinking about us. Chicken looks good too.
I would love to have one of those so thanks for the opportunity to try and get one
The chicken looked delicious! TFS. Blessings always ~Lisa
i could only afford a 3 qt instant pot but i love mine also. i love the fact that i can make hard boiled eggs in it. they come out so great they peel so easy.
looks like a awesome peace of equipment good luck to every one who interred
Thank you for a chance to win! Our youngest son would love if I never cooked a chicken with bones. Lol
yummy. look so good. I can smell it. thanks for sharing and have a wonderful evening
I love my Cosori pressure cooker. I have used it a few times. I liked it better than the InstaPot simply because it came with a glass lid as well to be able to use it as a slow cooker. Got more for less.
Just discovered your channel. Love it. I use a pressure canner but this would be a welcome addition to any kitchen!
You made it look so easy. Looks delicious.
Shame completion only open to us and Canada. 😥😥 i already have a version of the instapot. but a bigger one would be great. I have found that even the cheapest cuts of meat come out tender and tasty. Have fun with it.
Love the uploads. Miss lil Houston running round on camera. He adds so much energy and just amazes us how he learns and teaches what you all have taught him!!! Stay dry and thank you for your service!!! #teamblue
I could see myself using that pot all the time. I have lots of beans to cook up. It's just myself so I would cook up a meal and freeze it, then with just a little water in it I would use it to heat up my serving instead of putting it in the microwave.
Looks great! Entered...it would be great to win. My mom has the instant pot brand and loves it. This one looks like it has a lot more features! Thanks for looking out for us and giving us a chance to win!
Some how I missed this video.
I've been waiting on this one every since you told use you were going to have a cooker to give away. Have no idea how I missed the notification for the video. But glad I came across it before the end of the give away.
That chicken looks amazing.
Now that I'm entered, crossing my fingers and toes lol. Big hugs.
Thanks so much for doing the give away, it's so exciting.
Looks good. I bet that will help with your crazy schedule.
i just saw a commercial on TV yesterday, they have one that browns now.
Love the pressure cooker, I have 3qt, 6qt and 8qt instant pots. I use one or more almost everyday. You can cooked dried beans without soaking in 45 min. ✌😍😍 You could brown that chicken in the oven after pressure cooking it
Of all the cooking things I have that is one I have not got around getting yet. Seldom ever buy chicken in the store, but when I do it is boneless, skinless, chicken breast too. Bet your whole house smell so good, and the chicken look yummy.
That was amazing. I could almost smell it in Kentucky.
Try soup with rice added, I was never a fan but love it from my pressure cooker. Left over chicken cooked with rice and fresh veggies. Mmmm good.
Just made heaps of vegetable soup ( 10 min) in my Cosori ... AMAZING!
Thanks for the giveaway! We like to make broth after we cook a chicken. It is sure good the next day with some leftover chicken and noodles. Have fun experimenting.😁
Great video man!
Awesome!
Ty! I entered! I would like one of these. I have seen luhmna acres use the other brand for making bone broth a lot faster than the typical way.
I really want to try it!
Ordered mine through your Amazon link! Ben wanting it for a long time. I got the Power XL and love everything except the pot.. it is the coated type and peels terribly and we'r can't find a stainless putty that says it will fit it... So... now I'll have one that has a stainless pot! Thank you!
Thanks for the chance for us to win one!
Yummy! I love mine - use it all the time -
I've been checking them out it's on my Christmas list . We love to have one . Love watching your videos. Your garden is great and would love more facts about your goats we are looking to raise dairy and meat goats.
Hey Fred Flintstone it's about time you bought one it's about time you got one
Still love the intro man! They did a great job on that! My wife loves to take the fresh green beans with onion and small red potatoes and a little Everglades original. it is really good with some good chicken! Great video man!
Is that the Everglade seasoning that I see advertised on numerous channels?
Paul Atwood yes and it as good as advertised 😂
That looked awesome,
Looking good!!
Those pressure cookers sound like a fast way cook food. Much faster than an hour or more in the oven.
I love my pressure cooker have you seen where you can put your meals in a freezer bag And put the bag in a bowl around the same size as the pressure cooker and freeze them so when you go to make the meal can you just Empty the bag into the pan and turn it on. Even frozen
Good idea!
I love your videos thanks for sharing
That would be a wonderful way to cook. Like to see both cooking! Next make yogurt!maybe?
don't forget to mention that you can cook frozen meat as well! these things are awesome!
Entered, love your videos.
Looks delicious!!
I really enjoy your videos.
Just realized you guys changed the color of your cabinets
You guys should start a catering business. All of yall food looks amazing
nice Chicken Daniel OMG I could almost smell it from here... oh my gosh now i got a case of the hungries ! good video thanks for sharing. till the next video see ya.
I always wanted to get one of those, but never seem to get around to it.
Same with us. That was the only reason I really agreed to make the review for Cosori.
looked like a good yard bird
Nov 11. Hope I'm not too late for the giveaway. Looks really good.
Guess I shouldn’t mention that Ninja makes a pressure cooker/air fryer combo 🤣🤣🤣
I haven't seen that one.
That is so cool. I have been wanting one also. I could and would cook everything with it. My wife only cooks 1 meal a week because she commutes so far to work everyday its late when she gets home and I can't blame her for not wanting to cook on both of her days off. I'm disabled and limited by my back only but I have a stool I sit on and chop veggies or whatever I need to do in the kitchen so I end up eating a lot of microwaved junk. I love soups and stews and beans, I could cook meals that would last me several nights with one. Win or lose I'm gonna get one. Just a matter of time. Dang that chicken looked so good! Ya'll take care and stay safe. Later Okies
most people that have a cosori cooker swear by them better than the instapot brand
love the videos try to watch everyday
Thanks.
Chicken looks good
Awesome!
Pressure cooking made easy
I love my Cosori. Makes the easiest boiled eggs in 6 minutes which peel almost in one piece.
That looks awesome DJ and Daniel. I love that the.lid is attached and it has a yogurt function. I really need to upgrade from my IP 6 qt. Stuff a bit of rosemary inside next time and maybe a.lemon w garlic and onions. Does it have a canning function?
It doesn't have a canning preset but I really don't know that I've even seen anybody can in one of these either.
8 qt IPs have a setting for canning. Trying to simplify and the pressure canner is HUGE. Thanks.
Which IP has the canning function? I can’t seem to find it and that would be huge
Mine, you can, can in! @@ArmsFamilyHomestead
Mine is a Power Pressure Cooker XL and you can, can in it! @@jasonyaw5464
Love your videos, l been trying to save up to get one. Would love to win one
Me and the wife first seen them on Lumnah Acres. I talked her into one and we use it about every night since. Love love love these things. They are amazing.
Love the house
Daniel I would love the Cosori pot. Look online for Heleaux's Grocery in Lafayette, LA. Or Hebert's specialty meats in Maurice, LA and Tulsa, plus more. They have boneless stuffed chickens that are fantastic, and they will ship! My personal favorite is the Mexican Cornbread stuffed chicken at Healeaux's. But they are pricey for non locals to ship.
I have the 8-QT pressure cooker have you cooked a frozen whole chicken and if so can give step-by-step suggestions :p
I LOVE MY INSTANT POT!!!
Yummy...hugs from KENNEBUNK
Wanna know why?
Chicken thigh
Had to couldn't resist!
We had an electronic pressure cooker. Till it broke.... Would love to win a replacement before I go buy another!
Discount code ??!?!!
No unfortunately we don't have a discount code.
do you guys know about air ovens you could use to cook your fish heathlier not a judgement just a suggestion
Was that a tear on the Kubota's headlight???
I think it was!
I have got to ask is the roast or any meat dry mine has gotta be moist
We haven’t had anything dried out so far.
looks great but if something goes wrong with that pot it can take out half your house, my granmas pressure cooker failed and blew a 6ft hole right through her kitchen wall to the outside,, luckily she was out or she would have been killed
Put my name in for the pressure cooker. I’d love to have one!
Yum yum yum, 👍👍👍
I entered. Really hope I win!
I'd be willing to bet that a bunch of us viewers will enter. Thank you Dan for making this all possible for your viewers
So whatever happened to the white leghorn you gave for that wonderful research?
I don't know. I haven't heard anything since she picked them up.
@@ArmsFamilyHomestead hope there is an update in the future!
Hey Daniel It says 403 forbidden for us to enter for the pressure cooker/canner
That’s weird. It’s been working for everyone else.
I tried it 3 times
Hey Daniel! yay it is working this morning!! Thank you it is the 7th of Nov when I was able to sign up. Thank you
Well they not only want my name but they also want me to agree to receive email from them so I did not register . I already have an instant pot
Are you doing UK shipping?
I'm not actually shipping it. It will come directly from the company and I believe they are able to ship anywhere.
Arms Family Homestead thanks👍🏿
Do you swap recipes
I’ve used dental floss before, lol, it worked out just fine. will it switch into warm mode on its own after cooking something? is this safe to use if you aren’t home like a crock pot? is the liner removable so its easy to clean? i’ve been interested in one for a couple years now. 👍👍
Yes to all of those! Now it’s up to you if you trust it to cook when you leave home though.
Arms Family Homestead thank you 😀👍
Did you grow meat chickens this year
No we didn't. We bought a big batch of meat birds that all turned out to be rooster Leghorns.
I have been trying to purchase a Cosori 8 qt cooker. Three times they have had the same problem! They count down one minute in 30 seconds. So if you program it for 20 minutes then it only cooks for 10 minutes. But counts down the full 20 on the display. Then it goes into warm mode and again it will display warm mode for 2 hours and it really has been only one hour. The first one I purchased they provided a full refund. I purchased a second and had the same problem. The seller opted to replace it. So then a third one was shipped to me and it also had the same problem. So it is on the way back at this moment and I only want a refund at this point. These were brand new, never opened, units in the factory packaging with all parts, plastic, foam, etc. I have now purchased a different brand 8 qt that also has the stainless steel cook pot and cost half the price. So I will see how it lasts. Cosori does acknowledge the problem so they should have done a full recall. The reviews from others indicate the problem has been known for months and they are still being sold in the US market. The reviews indicating the problem has only been on the 8 qt model. I did not see any complaints about the timer on the 6 qt model.
It is a shame because I really liked the specs and parts with the Cosori. I have purchased another Cosori product and have liked it a lot.
That’s a bummer. I’m sure your frustrated. We haven’t had any issues with ours.
You ought to buy 14 quart gowise USA walmart.com get her one of those cook a turkey or ham
did you'all get a new kitchen it looks different?
No, my wife just had the cabinets painted white.
Man, that looks good lets eat!!!!🍒🍒
I submitted my information to enter the drawing and it said thank you and the next screen wanted to know if I wanted to sign up for other promotions offers and giveaways which I declined I don't need more junk mail I hope that's not going to interfere with the drawing because I declined getting promo emails
I wonder if this product is in your giveaway also has ability to do any pressure canning?
I used to have a 22 quart pressure canner that I used when I was raising kids and I gave it to my daughter and boy I recently needed to use it again and she lives so far away so I'm on the hunt for a small pressure cooker that will do quarts.
I bet you are still entered. I don't know if the 8 quart can do pressure canning or not.
Can you make a cat taste good that’s the question
dammit i'm late LOL
You going to cook it on less time get a meat thermometer to prove the meat for temp review like crusty skin get out your weed burner
