@Mi Dik mmm then I guess its a mix of other decisions but, If you killed monger in public a member of the cult obliges to kill him instead of forgiving him.
Glad I didn't get this ending. Hearing Kassandra's scream of pain and anger when her mother died broke my heart. But that was amazing voice acting on Kassandra's part.
i could’ve gotten the ending where atleast Myrrine survived, but then after failing to kill Deimos, i started again thought if they had a family again it would be nice, i was so happy because i was expecting the good ending (which i’ve checked out quickly) and then.. Alexios stabbed Myrrine.. argh.. atleast Stentor and Nikolaos were alive..
As some people have been saying this ending makes sense and the good ending doesn't, I wanna explain the good ending's sense. As my Deimos is Kassandra, I will say it from my POV. All her life, Deimos has been deprived from family. From love. That made her cruel. But that didn't make her not being able for a redemption. Alexios starts to sow seeds of doubts against the cult in Deimos's mind. That's when Deimos first realizes maybe she has been just used. Laterwards she feels a need for a family. The way she mentioned that lion cub thing, it showed that deep down she still craves for a family. She's just deeply hurt and upset, she feels betrayed. She feels that her family abandoned her when she was so young. But Alexios can convince her for the last time, making her see her family's true intention for her. It was pure love. She finally realizes that, gets convinced and breaks down by having the family she has been craving for all her life, deep down her heart. Her true self gets out, her cruel Deimos side gets demolished. She realizes how terrible she has been made all her life. She realizes who she truly is, deep down her heart. She realizes that she has one true family that cared for her, never betrayed nor abandoned her. And that, imo, has the more poweful ending. Redemption. Empathy. Forgiveness. Love.
Some people are saying this ending is the best since it represents a Greek Tragedy, and while that is true. I personally still prefer the good ending. I know people have said it doesn't make sense for Deimos to suddenly break down and have dinner with the family given the treatment he went through with the Cult. But personally I'm a big believer in redemption. Not only that, but I think what also plays into it is the fact that Kassandra and Myrrine proved they care. Keep in mind he went his entire life devoid of any signs of love. So, given the fact he's feeling it for the first time could have overwhelmed him and shown him that he does have a family and a place in this world.
Agreed, and Deimos breaking down.. do pay attention to what hes holding as he does so.. What said item did in the Vicinity of Thermopylae, and what the Cults Pyramid did to the siblings
Same. I had Nikolas killed and the step brother become a mercenary. Thinking about actually making a new save once I'm done with everything and have the whole family saved.
So what about Nikolaos? How does it make sense to keep him alive after what he has done? How does he fit in "the good ending"? He backstabbed and betrayed his family. All this wouldn't have happened if Nikolaos didn't betray them that day.
What a great job they did with Brasidas as far as character build up is concern even with the guilt trips only to have him killed like an extra. You don't even really get a chance to morn him because everything happens so quickly. This is a true Greek tragedy!
Just played through and got the good ending but after seeing this, I believe this is the better ending and more believable. The tragedy builds character for the hero and makes them more interesting.
Tbh this is the most believable and emotional ending, and befitting for a proper Greek tragedy. After all Deimos went through, him suddenly collapsing in your arms and agreeing to have dinner with you makes no sense. I originally got this ending and was disappointed, but then I tried reloading my auto save and fighting Alexios to save my mother. When I did that though, Myrinne was furious with me and said she couldn't stand to look at me anymore and banished me from Sparta. So I went back to the first choice, and let my mother die still loving me.
donscottr honestly I don’t know what I did. I was really trying to save him the whole game, but I can only guess I didn’t say the right thing(s) to him during the prison scene.
Candy Van Man I’m fairly sure where I screwed up was the prison scene. The options were somewhat unclear to me. But even so I’ve grown fond of the tragic ending for what it is. It’s also all the more impactful for me because I was trying to save my family but ultimately failed.
Yeah, this is what I thought. The idea that the "best" ending is where Deimos lives and is just accepted, all his barbarism and brutality forgiven, is ridiculous to me. I played and made my choices specifically to make sure I got an ending where everyone *but* Deimos survived, that to me is the real best ending. Dude's too far gone. To suddenly be like "yeah, I'm fine now, let's all have dinner!" is nonsense. How could anyone trust him? How could anyone even forgive him for just brutally murdering Perikles and smiling as he did it, and having Phoibe killed, or brutally slaughtering Brasidas and then taunting Kassandra over it. Mad.
I think this ending is Canon because in Legacy of the hidden blade when Kassandra asked about her family she said she has none it's a Easter egg that this is the Canon ending the only reason Ubisoft doesn't want to say this out loud as you saw what happened with Final Fantasy 15 ending when Prince noctis dies at the end everyone had a mental breakdown so this is a tongue-in-cheek way in Legacy of the hidden blade to imply that the tragic ending is the true Canon ended without having everyone flip out trust me smart way to do it
@@MrAnothis nah both of them are just as great as the protagonist but as the villain that's where kassandra is better at meaning playing at is better at least for my own opinion but playing as kassandra is the cannon version

@@beardedmario6414 No. There's no way to save Phoibe. Her death is scripted and no matter how hard you try you can't save her. Blame it on Aspasia! I never liked Aspasia; was not really fond of Phoibe in the beginning either to tell the truth, but when Aspasia tried justifying that Phoibe was to the one responsible for her own death, Phoibe became so much more sympathetic to me.
I feel like the best ending in my opinion story wise is where you’re father lives along with stentor and Deimos kills your mother then you kill Deimos. If everybody lives it is somewhat dull. There must always be loss and I feel like that’s what was needed to make you really “feel” it. Yes while I agree it feels nice to have everybody live, the story is better if mother and sibling die (like I said that’s my opinion)
I got this ending, and only because of the "short, seemingly pointless and empty" scene did I realize I could have saved some/all of my family. I was upset abt Myrrine, but she was too fucking dumb, still believing Deimos was redeemable at this point. The rest I killed without regrets, I hated them and owed them nothing. I only wish I could have invited Ikaros into the house and had family dinner scene with him. He was my one true bro throughout, always there for me ❤

I'm getting ahead of Evil Chocies walkthrough with this video but I'm trying to get all the endings and push everything before Thronebreaker: Witcher Tales comes out, so forgive me! Also, my brother is so over the top in his performance :)
Spoilers To get the best ending You have to spare Nikolaus Promise your mom that you'll save Alexios Don't kill Stentor Convince Nikolaus to help Stentor Convince Deimos that the cult is using him and refuse to fight him
General Grievous I did all of those and didn’t even get the option to refuse to fight Deimos ... I’m thinking it was something I said when trying to convince her to leave the cult? Either way I’m fucken pissed lol
@@ProfessorBigCat when deimos talks to you in the prison you have to answer their questions as truthfully as you can. So like when she asks why she was left to die, you have to say it was the profecy. Also make sure u don't hit her when you talk for the first time on Andros.
General Grievous damn...I said it was the cult, not the prophecy...that one line really fucked up my ending lmao. Might go back to that save and replay from there tbh
I got this ending on my first play-through... I thought I was doing the right thing by getting vengeance for myself and my brother by killing Nikolaos. I also thought I was doing the right thing by killing off Stentor and trying to be friends with Brasidas to win loyalty over him to get Deimos to change. Then I realized that Brasidas just wants Deimos dead so... Yeah, I thought, well I've came this far, let's see if I can get Deimos to change his ways and to forgive with Myrranie's love for his son. But, in the end Deimos just kills his mother and then I kill Deimos. I came out with no family left; for me this is a true Greek tragedy, I would've liked to see them alive together with each other but it just doesn't make sense. I personally really like this ending it's very powerful and shows a lesson in life. Vengeance is not the answer. Loyalty, love and Forgiveness is.
You ever think about if they cult decided to take Kassandra instead of Alexios, there would be literally no way for him to beat her? Like they’d just be fucked lmao.
I spared Nikolas, killed stentor and got an ending sitting with only Nikolas at the dinner table.I immediately started a new game to get the good ending, buri t was worth it
This may come as nitpicking, but did no one notice the clunky animations? You know, like they did with Mass Effect Andromeda and burnt that game at the stake? Disclaimer: I have no issues with the clunky animations though, my focus is on story, dialogue and combat gameplay. Which were all awesome.
I saved the whole family except Deimos and was satisfied with my ending. I really didn't know I could save Deimos at the time and was not willing to risk my mother.
Whoa it’s crazy seeing Brasidas being so hostile, I know it’d because of the choices but he was always so kind to my Alexios and tbh my favorite part of Sparta, I miss him 😔
It’s the spear, of Deimos holds the spear it will be a good ending, he doesn’t therefore the power of the spear doesn’t go through his body and he’s still evil
In my first playthrough, I killed Nikolaus, Stentor and Deimos. Myrine wasn't mad at Kassandra after and joined as a crew on the ship. In my second run, I didn't kill Nikolaus and Stentor but failed to convince Deimos so I had to kill him, this time Myrine was mad because I chose to promise to bring him back and she didn't join Kassandra's crew.
It's the worst in objective terms of gameplay value. You miss out on 4 legendary crew members. In terms of enjoyment of the story, that's just a personal opinion.
I did the 'good' ending; I 'saved' my family. But there's something about this ending that speaks to me louder than the so-called good ending. It speaks almost on the volume of Guardians of the Galaxy 2, with the Quill/Yondu/Ego angle. All throughout our little odyssey, Kassandra/Alexios has searched for their family, but for the greater majority of their life outside of Sparta, they've made their own friends and family. No matter what ending you get, you still have Ikaros, Baranbas, Herodotos, your crew. The support from Barnabas doesn't fail to speak to me in any scenario, "I'm here for you, I'll be on the ship" in so many words. You may have lost your real family, but you've built a stronger family through your voyage. It saddens me that Deimos has to die...but the effort it takes to save him/her is....almost more than it's worth. By all means we should be entitled to let off some steam on the bastard, heaven knows s/he doesn't hesitate to whack us around, but if we so much as breath in his general direction offensively, he'll slaughter Myrinne and force us to drop him off a cliff again. I think the game purposely wants this, to nudge us towards this ending, maybe not this specific 'worst' ending, but to an ending where it's pointed out that things don't work out in the sunshine and rainbows fashion we'd prefer.
Leonidas dies, Nikolaos dies, Kassandras real dad dies, Stentor dies, Deimos dies, Myrrine dies, Brasidas dies, the leader of Attika dies and Phobie dies! She have lost everyting!
I do believe you when I see this is Canon ending it's the Easter egg in hidden blade of Legacy downloadable content when asked about her family she said she has none
After playing the new content that shows us Kassandra leaving Greece for Egypt, (and later appearing in Valhalla,) This ending feels the most appropriate. There is basically nothing keeping her tied to the Greece now. The best ending makes little sense because in that ending Kassandra is basically fighting to have her family back and now that they are it just seems out of character for her to leave.
I prefer the good ending because all the family members are now part of my crew! Lieutenant Deimos, Myrrine, Nikolaos and Stentor. There's more fun interaction on my ship now xD
And shortly afterwards, Kassandra changed her named to Xena, became a warlord, then went about making up for her past and met a bard named Gabrielle along the way :p (kidding people)
This was my ending. I got power hungry & killed everyone in my way. Then when I got this ending I felt bad. I'm gonna redo it & pick the right choices. But... as much as I liked Kassandra I just never felt a true connection to her. When I played Red Dead Redemption 2 at first I played like a ruthless outlaw, but I felt a connection to Arthur & some of the side characters. When he got TB I completely changed my way of playing & started being more considerate & I got the good ending. I just never felt that with Kassandra
I felt one with Arthur. I didn't really have a connection with Kassandra but I did feel awful for her when I got this ending. I don't regret any of my choices though. Fuck Cultists. They all deserve to die.
So happy I made the right decisions and had everyone live and they actually are a happy family. It was so funny seeing Alexios and Stentor play fight at dinner.
I actually like this ending the most and i especially enjoyed myrrine dying on my 2nd playthrough after watching everybody survive the 1st time around.
This is the ending I got after 30 hours of gameplay and the acting was so good but I was gutted I got the worst, I was actually about to cry 😭 (Thanks for the heart btw)
To be fair Kassandra's family dying does give her more reason to hunt the order of ancients down and probably made it easier to set out on her own after the events of the game
Am I the only one glad for getting this ending? Nikolaos: Deserved to die anyway Stentor: A small price to pay Myrinne: Orders her long lost child around the moment you meet her. Deimos: Wanted to kill at the mountain
Be mean to him, push him on your first meeting, don't try to save him when the tree falls on him, and don't try to convince him that they're using him. Also tell your mother that he's beyond saving whenever possible. And finally do the things I did in this video :)
Sultan Kazi ok I found it out you need get prison sence right you need convos him or try to and he will not kill you mom but if you fail prison sence bad ending for you.
It can still be a Greek tragedy and have the good ending. The game has many tragedies (quests) that can end bad, children are murdered in the game, kids and wives losing their husbands from the war, people dying of plague, etc. To me, the game is more of a tragedy that tests the hero to prove their thinking skills and powers to change fate/prophecy. That's why I feel it's the more heroic and redemption, controlling one's fate ending. I look at each questline, side quests as separate stories, but the main story ending for me is the save everyone ending.
If you play Alexios and spare the life of The Wolf, then you get to enjoy with every one on the table at the end. I like happy endings but didn‘t expect playing Kassandra will make her family killed... or that situation with deimos/alexios throwing a spear through his own mother...
Got the best ending but ended up settling with killing Alexios, kinda wanted myrinne to die also because of what she did after killing Alexios, just like annahenrietta’s case.

He was my one true bro throughout, always there for me ❤
I like how right after Alexis’s kills the mother she walks right next to the place your fighting and starts crying

Oh my god 😂
I'm glad this feels like a dream to me, I got the good ending.
I did legitimately everything to get the good ending, and never got the option to refuse to fight Deimos. And all I get is the bad ending lmaoo wow
I'm getting ahead of Evil Chocies walkthrough with this video but I'm trying to get all the endings and push everything before Thronebreaker: Witcher Tales comes out, so forgive me!
Also, my brother is so over the top in his performance :)
Same.I am also waiting for Thronebreaker.
Witchertales is nothing compared to witcher 3, its like the game gwent. Nothing special

i dont like the fact taht origins and oddysey both have dead children... ill be pissed if the next ac has a child killed
Spoilers
To get the best ending
You have to spare Nikolaus
Promise your mom that you'll save Alexios
Don't kill Stentor
Convince Nikolaus to help Stentor
Convince Deimos that the cult is using him and refuse to fight him
Actually I killed Nikolaus and I had the best ending
General Grievous I did all of those and didn’t even get the option to refuse to fight Deimos ... I’m thinking it was something I said when trying to convince her to leave the cult? Either way I’m fucken pissed lol
@@ahjom well the best ending is just everyone survives
@@ProfessorBigCat when deimos talks to you in the prison you have to answer their questions as truthfully as you can. So like when she asks why she was left to die, you have to say it was the profecy. Also make sure u don't hit her when you talk for the first time on Andros.
General Grievous damn...I said it was the cult, not the prophecy...that one line really fucked up my ending lmao. Might go back to that save and replay from there tbh
I wished they focused the camera on how she trampled Kleon to drown in the water. Good to see some sandal action there.
True, I'm a forgiving person so especially for a game I usually make the more forgiving choices especially toward the more important characters
Vengeance is a Fool's game quote Arthur Morgan Red Dead Redemption 2
Love isn't
@@leonardmosca6852 rdr2 is a masterpiece can't be compared with trash like this.
7:49 that's the best voice acting in the entire game
Although it's a bad ending, it's the best one to me so I can remember this game so much even I finished the game 2 years ago.
8:41
Great writing, I got chills at the “root” line.
Lmao am I the only one who thinks both the Kassandra and Alexios voice actors have their strengths and weaknesses but neither are perfect?
"Always forward, my brave Kassandra." Beautiful.

Damn that’s such a legendary scream.
Her actress is so good
The word 'fucking' was not invented in that time yet :v
english was not invented in that time either

Yea! I also thought it when I first time saw 'fuck' in this game.
The animus is translating. Has been a part of the lore since the first game.

Just got the good ending, its cool how different it could have gone :)
MrOrkhammer did you kill the wolf of sparta?
@@alexander9203 nope, and im glad i didnt, things would have gone very different
@@MrOrkhammer same, I kept Nikolaos, Stentor, Myrrine and Kassandra alive, I never killed a single person who didnt already start the fight

@@Dark_Voice I let her live as well
Whoa it’s crazy seeing Brasidas being so hostile, I know it’d because of the choices but he was always so kind to my Alexios and tbh my favorite part of Sparta, I miss him 😔
I got the best ending where everyone lives because I personally wanted the whole family back + Stentor so I can get them as lieutenants too
Bro imagine having to eat dinner alone.. That ending is actually sad
It’s the spear, of Deimos holds the spear it will be a good ending, he doesn’t therefore the power of the spear doesn’t go through his body and he’s still evil
So how many people had to die to get this ending?
Steffen T. Everyone. Nikolaos, Stentor, Deimos, Myyrine
And yes. Stentor is basically family.
fuck i kill stentor when i became a mercenary
I did not kill anyone and still got this ending ;-;
same
In my first playthrough, I killed Nikolaus, Stentor and Deimos.
I'm so happy, I got the "best" ending^^ Everyone survived^^
There are so many endings. You get the ending you want by choosing who you kill
The strongest ending by far in my opinion. I got the "happy ending" myself, but this one is the most real. Still, the Atlantis "conclusion" is bad.
Barnabas is the truest of friend in all the endings. Always by your side
Personally I think the armor looks better on Kassandra
"worst ending" bullshit, this was definately the best ending, a tragic hero who loses everyone he loves in a quest for vengeance!
best as Alexios, considering the way Sparta was
I agree I got this ending and this will make Kassandra/alexios stronger.
This ending is as bad as the Mass effect 3 ending!
They we got tons of tragic endings in AC series, I'm not sure we need more. Let us choose a happy ending is good enough.
This is why ubi say odissey is the most darkest ac game for now
Alexios makes a good misthios but a better Deimos, such an evil bastard
Its weird how killing or not killing your step father is the one decision which decides whether you get a happy family ending or not.
4:24 ahhhh music to my ears 😌
You see Myrrine running in the background at 11:53...
I’m not good with tragic endings so this is a big nope for me since I don’t like crying
Leonidas dies, Nikolaos dies, Kassandras real dad dies, Stentor dies, Deimos dies, Myrrine dies, Brasidas dies, the leader of Attika dies and Phobie dies!

At least Ikaros is still around
@@stevens1-o7s yeah, you right
@@stevens1-o7s And don't forget Phobos
I do believe you when I see this is Canon ending it's the Easter egg in hidden blade of Legacy downloadable content when asked about her family she said she has none
After playing the new content that shows us Kassandra leaving Greece for Egypt, (and later appearing in Valhalla,) This ending feels the most appropriate. There is basically nothing keeping her tied to the Greece now. The best ending makes little sense because in that ending Kassandra is basically fighting to have her family back and now that they are it just seems out of character for her to leave.
I definitely Understand that these Guys behind the game had a tight budget if only Fans understood this
11:38 Deimos kills Myrinne
11:51 Myrinne's alive
13:05 Game remembers she's supposed to be dead
I prefer the good ending because all the family members are now part of my crew! Lieutenant Deimos, Myrrine, Nikolaos and Stentor. There's more fun interaction on my ship now xD
Ok Brasidas and Kassandra not getting along made me the most upset
And shortly afterwards, Kassandra changed her named to Xena, became a warlord, then went about making up for her past and met a bard named Gabrielle along the way :p (kidding people)
But.. there is already a Xena, Pirate princess on Keos! :p
@@lloydfromfar it's a lookalike!
@@MTiger86 Damn impostor! ^_^
I brought everyone back except for Stentor who became a mercenary.
This is the ending I got after 30 hours of gameplay and the acting was so good but I was gutted I got the worst, I was actually about to cry 😭
(Thanks for the heart btw)
Only 30 hours I got to 70 hours before I got to this scene
Cry in this shitty bloated game are you even living a life play rdr2.
hot take, this is actually the good ending. Family that's been by your side from the beginning of the game are there to celebrate with you.
Sokrates didnt think Perkiles was a great man though... Sokrates hated democracy, and to an extention, Perkiles.
11:49 that scream was perfect
To be fair Kassandra's family dying does give her more reason to hunt the order of ancients down and probably made it easier to set out on her own after the events of the game
Am I the only one glad for getting this ending?
Nikolaos: Deserved to die anyway
Stentor: A small price to pay
Myrinne: Orders her long lost child around the moment you meet her.
Deimos: Wanted to kill at the mountain
probably not ;]
What choices led to Deimos stabbing Myrinne? This is new to me.
Be mean to him, push him on your first meeting, don't try to save him when the tree falls on him, and don't try to convince him that they're using him. Also tell your mother that he's beyond saving whenever possible. And finally do the things I did in this video :)
xLetalis I literally only did the pushing and nothing else and I got this ending. Was pretty depressing ending
yes I think so
xLetalis what part on telling mom she beyond on help
Sultan Kazi ok I found it out you need get prison sence right you need convos him or try to and he will not kill you mom but if you fail prison sence bad ending for you.
Damn that scream and facial expression when the mother was stabbed. Horrifying
I wish Alexios was canon protagonist, I played 82 hours with him just to find out Ubisoft fucked me over and said Kassandra is canon
Whole family dies, Barbaras “chin up”
11:53 myrrine standing up and walking whilst we just saw her get stabbed
Got the best ending but ended up settling with killing Alexios, kinda wanted myrinne to die also because of what she did after killing Alexios, just like annahenrietta’s case.
