I also let diemos live, since she was my sister after all. i was playing as alexios, so kassandra was diemos. in the end, the whole family was still alive, except alexios' real father.
Not to hate but, Kassandra is the canon character and her voice actor does a good job making Kassandra seem like a heroine she has a voice of hope and she helps anyone in need and when Phoibe does you can tell she was hurt
The actual option is either taking the staff by force or to convince him to give you the staff. He dies either way, because the staff is the only thing keeping him alive after 100 or so more years. Simply, the violent option, or the non-violent option. Killing him wont change the fact that math is a language.

Watching lots of AC ending cutscenes and of course everyone talks about who is "better" as who between Alexios and Kassandra as Deimos or Protag, particularly when Deimos kills their mother. I like look at the small things personally! Listen closely and you'll hear them softly whimper "No" after Deimos says "Maybe we should have both died here that day". Kassandra's VA does a better job with the surprised horror with that one. Alexios's VA does a better job with what I would call righteous anger with his cry. I don't know I just hate seeing so much hate for one VA or the other. They both have their strengths and weaknesses. You have to look for nuances of both. At the end of the day, the are both genuinely pleasant to listen to imo.
I fucked up stentors life. I killed nikolaos and embarrassed him in front of his troops and walked away. He became a mercanery after doing so. Then i recruited him. He has to see me every fucking day
But you can let Stentor live. Have him on the boat. Getting the 'good ending' for Dimos is more complicated than shown her though, you need to be very careful with diolog in earlier cutscenes, particularly when in jail.

Odyssey's skills that make stealth in this game better than origins and all old AC games (this is for all origins and old AC fans that slate odyssey):
- Arrow crafting
Unlike origins whose arrows can be run out, in odyssey, you can craft different type of arrows (basic, paralyzing, poison, fire, explosion, & death) with more slot, so you dont have to depend on looting from enemies and chests.
- Sixth sense
Time slows for up to 8 secara when you're spotted by enemies, so you have a chance to instantly assasinate them
- No fall damage
No damage from falling from high places
- Rush assasination
You can kill multiple 5 enemies at a distant in 1 attack
- Kronos' punishment
You can summon your clone to kill enemy at a distant
- Death veil
Enemies killed by assasination automitically dissapear and cannot be detected bu anyone
- Shadow of nyx
You can be invicible
- Slow time
You can slow time to assasinate multiple enemies
- Kronos time warp
You can slow time, and every headshot would extend duration
- Hero strike
Single strike to instantly kill enemies
- Predator shot
You can zoom to shoot enemies and changing the arrow's direction. Origins also has itu, but you have to equipped special bow to use it, while in odyssey, you have freedom to use different unique ranged attack, because it's a part of hunter skills.
- Artemis' trickery
You can set trap from different types of arrows (basic, paralyzing, poison, fire, explosion, & death)
- Multishot
You can shot 8 enemies at 1 time. You can combining the attack with slow mo effect when you fall to the ground
- Rain of destruction
You can rain down arrows that can kill multiple enemies at 1 time from hidden spots
- Ghost arrows of artemis
You can shoot an arrow that can travel through shields, walls, even enemies from hidden spots
- Assasin attack damage applies to nearby enemies
- Basic arrow damage applies to nearby enemies
Odyssey's skills that make combat in this game is way better than origins (since combat in origins is stuck with the boring repetition of R1-R2 with no unique skills) and old AC games (obviously because slow, rigis, and robotic combat in old AC games are absolutely suck):
- Bull rush
Attack that quickly rush through multiple enemies and finish them with heavy smash attack
- Ares bull charge
Summon a bull that charges through enemies
- Ring of chaos
Shucking blast that attack enemies arround
- Wrath of ares
Attack that stuns and slowing enemies arround
- Flaming attacks
Unlike origins that you have to use legendary weapons to use a burning weapons, in odyssey, you can set all you weapons on fire to use flaming attacks
- Venomous attacks
Same with flaming attacks, you can set all your weapons on poison to use venomous attacks, unlike origins that you have to use certain legendary item
- Overpower attack
Overpower attack in odyssey is actually way more special than origins', because you actually can instanly kill enemies with awesome combat in 1 skill, while in origins, you just have slightly more power to attack enemies. And dont forget the ridiculous drop kick when you use itu without any weapons. At least in odyssey, you still have badass combo when you you use it while you're barehanded.
- Fury of the bloodline
Combos that can instantly kill your enemies and generate adreanaline segments
- Ares madness
Special mode that can kill enemies instantly with 1 hit
- Second wind
Unlike origins that dont have medicine to heal you when you have low healt in battle, odyssey have skill that can heal you
- Ares last breath
You're immune to every enemy's attack and every damage dealt is restores as health
- Isu enhanced
Enter the special mode that can do special attack and become immune to enemys attack by getting hit or doing a perfect dodge and
- Sparta kick
A kick that can knock out enemies
- Shield breaker
Attack that can break shielda and knockback enemies far away
- Parry system
Unlike parry system in origins that is bad (you already hit Parry button on time/just before enemy's attack, yet you still can get hit), parry system in odyssey is not only easy and smooth, but also can stun and slow enemy so you can counter attack
- Dodge system
If you Dodge on time, you can slow time to counter attack

Don't say that the appeal of old AC games stealth is the realistic styles because none of them is realistic. People complaining about Odyssey being unrealistic, have you ever seen the character perks and the boss power in old AC games? When you can kill a person from the top of tall building without killing yourself from falling, when you can heal by yourself, when you can transform to become other person, when you can be invicible, when you can refill gear by using cache. AC franchise idea itself is fantasy! You want me yo believe that i can virtually do a mission in the past? Yea, its so realistic

I played the game first as Kassandra but after i talked with Nikolaos i started playing as Alexios because the dabber(the one who voiced him) made a better job.
2i have never ever played an assasins creed where a dying character actually sounded like they were dying
I don't get why Kassandra is never saying at any point in the game that she didn't kill Nikolaos if she didn't as the game force her to do so
