Phoebe’s death was just as hard as Khemu’s. Very emotional moments.
For me, Shadya's fate hit way harder then Phoibe's. But Phoibe's was very emotional as well.

@@jcers you need to go back to that mission. The goat that ran off before you fight cyclops you have to kill it you will get Cyclops "other" eye ....that is as long as you went back to Kephalonica during the main game and killed a goat on the island where you got the eye back. OR if you didnt go im assuming you get the first eye you stuffed up there
As soon as I saw the footprints in the beginning of the quest, I thought to myself "Please don't be phoibe, please don't be phoibe" I am still heartbroken two days after completing it.. Damn you Ubisoft! 😭
Ubisoft will now assign one of their specially trained Templars from abstergo to hunt you down and take your DNA so they could stalk your ancestors.
What is the name of this quest? I think I still didn't reach this one.

I’m not gonna lie this had me bawling. I couldn’t make her drink the water, I still think I’m gonna see her again someday. Maybe after I pass the staff in Atlantis?
In My playthrough I will make her forget about me, Phoibe see Kassandra as an Idol or an inspiration when she grow up but Phoibe died as a child and she will never fulfill that dream to become like Kassandra and have her own Ikaros. I don't want Phoibe to feel regret in not living her life to the fullest. As long as Kassandra will always remembers her little friend then I'm ok with it.
Remember, is just Aletheia's simulation. You never met Phoibe' soul in the first place.
This was the best dlc. After this mission, I had to dry my face, had to stop a little and ponder about life. Seriously, this game is remarkable.

@@luizpaulonm I disagree, the DLC "legacy of the fitst blade" is so much better, while in atlantis, I founf many glitches. Bht thats beside the point, the first blade had everything that kassandra/alexios wanted! He had a wife, kid, perfect life, etc. The legacy of the first blade def made me cry, yes the fate of atlantis was sad, but I feel as if the fate of atlantis had way to much to do, but in conclusion, I think legacy of the first blade had a better story, but fate of atlantis had better gear/ and alot more to do!
I love Kassandra after the main game. After beating the DLC's she became my favorite AC protagonist. My only gripe with the DLCs was that Legacy of the first Blade felt like it is supposed to be started and beaten before finding Myrrine. Amazing game overall.
So Phoibe dies in the real world, goes to Elysium, then somehow reaches Hades' realm on her own, then loses her memory, later regains her memory, dies once again in the underworld, her body is then moved back to Elysium, there she comes back to life once more, then goes back to Hades and will potentially lose her memory again, or at least partially... all while she's actually dead? :O

I'm interested to know why you told her to forget you? I figured Kassandra would visit her eventually (2,400 years later) so why have her not remember?
I was about to raze cities and villages and completely populate the underworld again when I saw she died again. Told her I’d visit instead

On another note, you should definitely make a video on that questline with Brasidas in the underworld as well as I feel it pays off from the main story in an interesting way :)
You can hear Phoibe's voice break when she says "Wasn't I good enough?" Like the voice actress really wanted to cry when doing this scene.
Phoibe is more precious to Kassandra than she ever let on in the beginning. Someone even more special than her husband Natakas. To Kassandra, Phoibe is her baby sister and having to watch her let phoibe go and say goodbye for an extremely long time was really hard for me. I had to stop playing after that. I didn't tell her to drink that damn water though, that's just horrible, and even more devastatingly sad!
they completely ignored Natakas in this DLC :D

I did not tell her to drink the water either.. cause in my heart I know that they will meet again after Kassandra gives away her staff. Time does note passes by the same way in the Elysium, and the little girl will be with her family, she can wait without suffering. To Kassandra the waiting is worse.
Even though my heart was breaking during these quests, somehow made me happy to help Phoibe find her family and go back to the beautiful place she deserves to be.

Seeing Phoibe like this... All ash and dust, the feeling of being lost in her eyes... It made me cry.
just outta curiosity, what happens when you die in the underworld? is there some realm for a spirit's spirit? When someone dies their spirit tends to go to Hades, but if those spirits die is that the end, or do hey go to some spirit afterlife? the thought of being killed after you enter the afterlife only makes you wonder even more where you go after that.

In the underworld, the dead drink from the river of forgetfulness to forget their past and the 3 judges along with Hades judge them if they are going to Tartarus, asphodel or the Elysian Fields

I like how this episode gave us closure for these characters. Was glad to reunite whether character was bad or good. Some of the stories were very tragic.
This was too hard to watch since losing Phoibe in Athens, then seeing her again in the underworld unaware of what happened to her in her previous life. Damn you Ubisoft, why must you pull on my heart strings again

Best quest in this DLC by far! Imagine if they did quests like this for all your fallen family members (which would be missable if they survived). That would be going the extra mile on a Witcher 3 level.
Oh, HELL YES! Or at least, remember when you tell Persephone who you want brought back? What if the person of choice became that questline in the Underworld? GAH- that’s such a missed opportunity 🙈

Ah i remember finding Phoibe in Athens and how much Kassandra was so upset she was losing her mind with everyone like I was pissed for her and i chose the dialogue to Aspasia saying it was her fault and from then on I hunted all the cult members before finishing the main story and pushed Aspasia as much as I could when I saw her

Honestly, everyone is playing as alexios... but I feel like the game is more towards Kassandra as the main character than Alexios, it just feels more right

Gaming _ Review That’s the thing. You can totally see Alexios as the villain as well as the hero after you’ve played as him. Kassandra just doesn’t make for a good villain. I hope Assassin’s creed moves away from the two option main character though.

My heart broke when I remember how I couldn't save her, and when I saw her like that, I could stop the tears
I played this with Alexios and his voice breaking and with tears made me cry and i felt so sad, i chose the option of them seeing other again someday, what a sad episode.
Her death was probably one of the saddest in ac history. The saddest death for me was haytham kenway, I wish I could have seen more of him bond with Connor. Then ofcourse Elise, and Blackbeard.

This broke me, I actually teared up for the first time since playing RDR2. Especially the end when she goes to Elysium where she belongs.

Just finished this quest today, and oh shit, the emotions... I'm so obsessed with Kassandra like damn she got me obsessing over her when she doesn't exist ugh lol. Melissanthi did amazing as Kass, especially in the scenes with Phoibe.
I was wondering what the other two guys were doing. But then I realized the goat in the background and checked the area around the house and found the two guys dead😂😂😂😂

I’m just gonna make it in my own Canon of Odyssey that Alexios reunited with his friends, son and Neema in Elysium after passing the staff to Layla in the present day.

It broke my heart the first time when Phoibe died an then to watch this, it nearly tore me up inside. I am glad that Phoibe got to go to Elysium though. I keep thinking, I'll see you soon Phoibe.
God I just love Phoibe and the interactions Kass/Alex have with her throughout the game. When she died the first time I replayed that scenario twice cause I thought I was failing some hidden timer event :( heart broke when I realized what happened. Side note: Wonder if there might be a dialogue if you retrieved cyclops eye from the goat and kept it? (so many goats died for it lol).
SKIYdive I had the cyclop’s eye and there was no mention to it. I feel like that was a missed opportunity!

Fun fact: when fighting the Cyclops on this island you can actually kill the goat and gain another "rare" eye known as the 'Cyclops other eye'. It's a different Easter egg from the achievement 'Stink eye'. I just found out about this by very change, like 2 minutes ago while playing

I have played AC Odyssey but without the DLCs, finished the game a few months ago. Yesterday i was thinking, damn i was in Elysium, maybe in one of the DLCs i dont have i can go to Hades and find Phoibe, and now i just want to cry as i saw i can meet her again.

I cried when I seen Phoibe again; I grew very attached to her and when she died.... oh man my heart sank and shattered.
I reloaded previous saves just so that I could save her then I realised that I won't be able to. After she died, I had to stop playing for awhile. It was too heavy. And then I went on a killing spree
Here I am at 6:40 am. No sleep in the last two days, crying. God help me, I love this game so much.

You can add so much meaning into this story. For me Kassandra is my parenting self (the grown adult) and phoibe my innerchild, needing love and compassion. Sometimes phoibe feels like she is not enough and my Kassandra inquires, "why do you think so?" And gives unconditional love to my Phoibe.
The emptiness I felt when I finished this story. what a gem of a game never understood the hate.

Ezio and Christina's tragedy, Elise's farewell letter to Arno, Anne singing The Parting Glass and Edward looking over at the table seeing an image of his lost pirate buddies and now Phoibe's death and Al/Kas temporally re-uniting with her in the afterlife then having to say goodbye and other said stories throughout all the AC games. Dammit Ubisoft always tugging at my heartstrings.
Ah man this scene makes me emotional. I chose the 'I will come and find you one day' option. Her death made me cry. Finding her in the underworld just made me entire life. And then to see her go to elysium. I'm crying now once again
