Personally, I think the shed is awesome, but it's also exactly what I expected. As you said in your previous video, the absolute most I expected was an animatronic tree reaching at the train.
Now younger children you have an excuse to for your coaster enthusiast parents to extend your bed time to after midnight. Both the Beast and Mystic Timbers are must rides at night and Diamondback is pretty enjoyable at night too. Kings Island is my #1 theme park as an enthusiast

I enjoyed the coaster, not one of my all-time favorites but a strong addition to a great ride lineup at Kings Island. I haven't got a chance to ride it at night, looks like a great time for sure but still not nearly as close to as dark as The Beast gets- still haven't found a good night pov of Beast because nobody has ever used a camera good enough in low light to pick anything up on it
CoasterFanatics Yeah I have one too that is pretty much just black the whole time lol, you would definitely need a good night vision setup to have a chance recording it. Love the video though man! Keep up the great work you've got another sub
There is no wrong way to end a night at KI. Banshee, Mystic Timbers, Diamondback and of course the mighty Beast. Night rides at KI are 2nd to none. Can't wait for this goddamn virus to pass so we can all enjoy again.
I was looking forward to this, but wasn't expecting it to be a strong addition to the park, as they already have several good out-and-backs, and good wooden coasters. Rode it yesterday and it was one of the best wooden coasters I've ever ridden, definitely adds something special.
I bet Orion will be so thrilling at night. I’m so excited to ride it next year. Hopefully we will get Gold Passes again because it’s so fun going every weekend in the summer and Orion will probably always be a long wait.
I got a chance to ride this and the Beast at night back to back this weekend. It's an awesome night ride, but The Beast still reigns supreme in my opinion.
Not sure if someone already said this or not but there are 3 different endings (as you said) bats snakes and the tree Also, to my knowledge bats is the most common and the tree is the least common, the snake is in between.
Excellent ride, love all the little hops and banks after the first drop, it's amazing. little trick though to make it better, try pushing up with your legs, like you're trying to stand up, during the ride. It makes it much better and way less jerky. Love it, great job KI!

People make a big deal about the shed, but never mention it’s just a place to wait while they load the other train. Alternative could be sitting in the beating sun like on Gatekeeper for example.
CoasterFanatics got hurt in a car wreck a several years ago. Messed up my neck and back. Last roller coaster I rode was Thunderhead at Dollywood in October 2010.
Mystic Timbers is actually very similar to Thunderhead. They are both made by the same company. Very sorry to hear that. Were you able to ride a lot of them before your accident?

I got to ride Beast and Diamondback at night not long before the accident so that was pretty amazing. I just hate that so many good coasters came along after the accident. I just ride them now vicariously through RUclips. :)

One of the best night rides in the park. I was severely disappointed with the shed, though. IMHO, I would have been perfectly satisfied if the ride was a little longer and nixed the shed altogether.
I just recently rode the night ride on mystic timbers for the first time. I barley could see the track and I thought it was awesome. The shed was lit up and I thought the shed was way better at night
First time I ever rode this thing was it night. It was a brand new ride at Kings Island. It's all right but it jerks the living shit out of you man!!! I had such a headache when I get off this thing.
The shed is a very underrated part of the ride in my opinion. Well, I wasn't expecting a drop track or anything like that. imo this is better than Beast.
honestly sitting in the shed not knowing what was coming was terrifying, i frickin loved it ...i assume the endings have different times tho?? i saw the snake one and we sat a lot longer
CoasterFanatics I'm just so scared because I'm eight and on The Beast I hat my back super hard and it hurt for weeks after that. So I'm just trying to stay off wooden coasters. I like your Mystic Timbers vs Beast by the way.
I feel like they should at least add a door that opens and closes on the shed so if they run 3 trains and stack all of them, the train behind the current one in the show scene won't see what is happening in there.

Yeah i agree. I think it would have been cool. Kind of like some of the Disney and Universal rides
Still doesn't beat The Beast on a night ride. Always loved riding the Beast during the fireworks. Beautiful view of them from the highest point.
I agree. They don't seem to run it anymore during fireworks. They shut it down till they are done now.

Nighttime fits the theme way better than daytime. The ride vehicle is a rusted car that drives around in the haunted forest, and an abandoned shed.

I think they should put actual headlights on the front car. Just angle them a certain way so it doesn't kill the awesome night rides.

Yeah those are called laterals. Mystic has a lot of that with it's sudden turns and never ending pops of airtime.
