I actually think you're pretty brave for being so forward on this man. I've gotten snickers and derision just for mentioning I was considering the idea. Men are immediately branded as hopelessly shallow and insecure the second the mention something like this.
I’m a girl and my male friend tentatively told me he was considering this, he was 25 and starting to go bald. I just said Hell yeah, go for it and was super positive. A lot of others laughed at him. He did the procedure in secret but told me and now looks awesome. Do what makes you happy and ignore the haters ❤️
hello, profesional barber here. that pinky patch towards the top of your neck is not irritation from the barber's tools. it's actually a very common type of birth mark usually referred to as a 'port wine stain'. it's purely due to the dense collection of capillaries in that region of the head. the capillaries in this area are more likely to have an abnormal formation. nothing to worry about, id say about 20% of my clients have it. for future reference, please do not blame this sort of thing on your barber especially on the internet to over a million people. this can cause unnecessary damage to their reputation, and im sure your barber would appreciate it if you didnt. great video, helped me a lot as i am looking to get a transplant myself. thank you

@@himanshumahajan2164 Could you please share the cost of your Hair Transplants and where did you get it done? You commented here 3 years ago. May I know how is your current condition and did you take Finasteride and have you faced any side-effects?
Tip for the Minoxidil - I apply it immediately after shower, to towel dry hair. (So slightly damp). I apply it with the dropper and brush it in with a tangle teaser, quite thoroughly. THEN I blow dry my hair into my style. Zero problems.
@@Ali-ry2ed minoxidil is OTC man. Worked for me or at least drastically slowed my loss. Minox once a day and nizoral shampoo 3/4 times a week. Been 8+ years for me now.
Appreciate the videos man, this one and the last hair transplant video you did. Very honest and informative. Been researching FUE for a while now and seeing your great results made me go for it. Almost a week now since I got it done! Cheers Mike!
Hey man, if you are worried about the crown area, you should look into getting PRP injections. Absolutely insane results and fairly cheap compared to another transplant. Best of luck!
It already looks phenomenal. Do not even worry about the crown, that usually takes more than 1 year to achieve good density (speaking from own experience). Hopefully in the future we can clone hair stems so we can get a the same density as in our teenage years 😄
Matt Murdoch went to Istanbul cost around 3000....some people will say that’s a bit expensive but I can honestly say the results have been great in comparison to other people’s i know.
Thanks for sharing. I would suggest taking a look at minoxidil foam, applying it on half-dry hair after a shower leaves practically zero residue, then again at night almost nothing after a brush off. Highly recommended, this way you stick to it without the side-effect of ruined hair look. Keep in mind, minoxidil needs to stay on your sculp for hours in order to be fully absorbed.
Your hair looks amazing. That's an incredible hair style for your face shape and lifetyle. Also, your grade of hair is perfect for what we call 'waves.' You already have some and if you really went in...it would look sick 😎
Could you please share where did you get it done? You commented here 3 years ago. May I know how is your current condition and did you take Finasteride and have you faced any side-effects?
I am very happy for you Mike glad to hear you had positive outcomes from this Risk taking journey. Your Hair looks amazing 👏 God bless you and happy new year 🎉
3:52 exactly. I've had 5 hair transplants but added "density" after that with SMP. Makes it look even thicker than without it because of the darker scalp.
I don't remember if I posted this information on your other video about Finasteride but someone might find it useful. Finasteride actually improves blood flow throughout the body because of how beneficial it is for keeping your blood vessels soft. Circulation is the best thing for deterring hair loss. It also has anti-cancer properties. Combing your hair in all directions about 100 times twice a day helps, Doing a headstand for 2-3 minutes a day. Finishing your showers with cold water. Nutrient rich oils applied to the scalp once a week... All of these things have stopped my hair loss for about 7 years now. The sooner you start applying these tactics the better. Also do not consume alcohol. Most medications are designed to work for healthy people who otherwise have 1 particular issue. Alcohol inhibits your metabolism. Think about how important and effortless your balance is... if alcohol is affecting you at that level then imagine what is going on with your organs.
I got hair transplanting seven years ago. I was 30 yo like Mike now. And I had absolutely the same surgery. Well, transplanted hairs grow good, but I still loose my own hair. That’s why I need to repeat this surgery again. I think the same situation will be with Mike after 5-7 years.
@@joshy3602 mostly related to sexual health. You may suffer impotence. Other side effects are feelings of weakness, dizziness and tired. They aren't really catastrophic to health, but detremental for sure.
I used to do it 6 years ago in turkey i did almost the same and still losing a bit of my hair but its way better than before project to do it next year too :p
I wouldn’t want to tell people what to do but it feels SOOOO much better to take control and shave it off. Transplants need constant maintenance. I get way more compliments after shaving than I did before
I think the same. Maintaining it is too much hassle, time consuming and expensive. And I don't trust finasteride or anything that fucks with your hormones.
You don't need finasteride to maintain the transplanted hair. He is just using it to minimise hairloss from 5DHT sensitive hair follicles. Get your hair transplant. edit : transplanted hair is 5dht resistant. If you lose more hair from your 5dht sensitive hair follicles replace it with more hair transplant. Results are 99% forever. Do it if u can afford it.
Nathan ok pal, if it works for you that’s the main thing. I’m the opposite, I feel I would always be thinking about it, you know? Is it ok? Is it time for a renewal? Shaving just gets rid of it all, it’s like a weight removed from my shoulders, I NEVER think about it anymore and cannot imagine even wanting to have hair now
Air Doctor how come you see celebrities who have to constantly get another and another then? It’s just not for me, I just feel released fro the vanity of it all and it’s very liberating. Genuinely, if I was offered a million to do pay for it I wouldn’t do it
The hair that has been transplanted looks really good and I don't see any sign of scarring. My one critique is more about Dr. Reddy's "artistry," so to speak. Were I in your shoes, I would have liked more density towards the temples instead of the U-shaped front line. However, if you're happy your results, all power to you. Cheers!
One of the most commonly reported side effects of steroids is premature hair loss. This can happen due to improper use of steroids or if bad ingredients are used. Steroids can easily ruin the balance of testosterone and other hormones in your body.

@@mikeb4471 Hair transplant isn't a cure, it's just holding back time. He will need many more hair transplants to fill in new patches as male pattern baldness progresses. I know a guy who had a couple of them, has the hair at the front from those transplants but with a large bald gap between the front and back of head. He shaves it all now anyway. Anyone who does what to fill in their balding with a hair transplant, I would also advise paying for a well reviewed clinic, as a bad hair transplant can look terrible. Mike was smart, did his research and didn't cut corners with cost, so he had a positive result. You tend to get what you pay for.
kyle Reese That’s not necessarily true. If he sticks with Finasteride/Propeica and Minoxidil then he shouldn’t need any future transplants. You need to be own things like that to prevent further hair loss.
@@kylereese458 What you can do is put a hair system behind it. Literally, no one will ever notice. Its the front lace of hair systems that people notice and if the very front is real hair it will be undetectable. I personally would rather do this than risk the sides of fin.
U should let it grow out at some point, sometimes curly hair doesnt even need to be styled if u have it cut a certain way. Might be the best time during isolation too
Have to say this is the video everybody with the same situation benefits from watching ....great to see what’s involved and your progress. At 18 I had psoriasis on the scalp really badly, ended up picking off a lot of areas of hair and it never grew back (obviously damaged follicles) I shave head weekly now but if I got this procedure I’m sure I’d have scalp issues again 😏
Spot on Mike. I'm glad you're promoting proper due diligence before undergoing surgery and best of all - trying to shave it off first! This is the absolute best advice that one could give. Hair loss for the most part is mental gymnastics. Once you shave it off after a week or so you will find it's not actually that bad! Afterwards you will be better equipped to make an informed decision what to do next, whether to keep it short, shave, or get on medications and do a hair transplant.
dude i would kill to switch place's with you, you are one of the few who absolutley look great and badass "bald" shaved just shave it, never worry about it when you wake up, go out, go swimming etc. but i would look like a freak sadly...i would instantly shave it all if i would look like you shaved
With topicals, if you need good coverage all over the head, the only feasible way ime is apply at night, wash hair in the morning. If you're not getting out of the house you can get away with not washing for 2 or 3 days, but otherwise you gotta keep washing for it to look okay.
Hey Mike, stemcell research are in the horizon for hairtransplants. That means in theory, you can grow an infinite number of hairs. Probably expensive as hell, but no scarring in the back..except like 5-10 hairs that they need to duplicate. So hold out on a further transplant. :) Great channel, very honest.

My advice, i have similar hair and lost it in the same spots. I shaved it all off and, for me it looks good bald. Your transpalnt looks phenomenal and my advice to you, since when I had hair it had a similar look to yours now. It will siut you the best, and is easy to maintain, do some research and google it. Good luck.

People need to not be a dic* to men, I would be devastated to lose my hair, there’s no male pattern baldness in my family so I didn’t have an insight into the issue until my friend started to go thin on top. Do what makes you happy and ignore the haters ❤️
Good to see you at Mall of the Emirates last time. Im planning to have hair transplant myself. Thanks for sharing your hair transplant journey.
hello, profesional barber here.
that pinky patch towards the top of your neck is not irritation from the barber's tools. it's actually a very common type of birth mark usually referred to as a 'port wine stain'. it's purely due to the dense collection of capillaries in that region of the head. the capillaries in this area are more likely to have an abnormal formation. nothing to worry about, id say about 20% of my clients have it.
for future reference, please do not blame this sort of thing on your barber especially on the internet to over a million people. this can cause unnecessary damage to their reputation, and im sure your barber would appreciate it if you didnt.
great video, helped me a lot as i am looking to get a transplant myself. thank you

Those attributes are belied by his muscle-head, party-boy demeanor (and channel?). Tip for the Minoxidil - I apply it immediately after shower, to towel dry hair. (So slightly damp).
I apply it with the dropper and brush it in with a tangle teaser, quite thoroughly. THEN I blow dry my hair into my style. Zero problems.

Hey man, if you are worried about the crown area, you should look into getting PRP injections. Absolutely insane results and fairly cheap compared to another transplant. Best of luck!
Really cool of you to post this
It already looks phenomenal. Do not even worry about the crown, that usually takes more than 1 year to achieve good density (speaking from own experience). Hopefully in the future we can clone hair stems so we can get a the same density as in our teenage years 😄

What are these nutrient rich oils you speak of?
I got hair transplanting seven years ago. I was 30 yo like Mike now. And I had absolutely the same surgery. Well, transplanted hairs grow good, but I still loose my own hair. That’s why I need to repeat this surgery again. I think the same situation will be with Mike after 5-7 years.

I wouldn’t want to tell people what to do but it feels SOOOO much better to take control and shave it off. Transplants need constant maintenance. I get way more compliments after shaving than I did before
alastair mackay same here. Never looked back and I just feel so much better and more confident.
Cheers!

@@kylereese458 That's why you use treatments like Finasteride and Minoxidil which are effective on the long run.
@@kylereese458 What you can do is put a hair system behind it. Literally, no one will ever notice. Its the front lace of hair systems that people notice and if the very front is real hair it will be undetectable. I personally would rather do this than risk the sides of fin.
