Yeah same here LOL. The very first video I saw of Mike was his previous hair transplant, obviously in the recommended videos. How did YT know indeed? I was so pleased with the amount of details and tips he shared that I've watched many other of his videos since, and I was not surprised but still happy he did this one. Strangely, I had never thought of shaving it all to see if I would like it! Before his last tip in this video, I would not dare I guess, like it's the "final step" to baldness. Now I am tempted to do so...

You can get it done much cheaper in places like Turkey but:
      - that's if you want to make the effort to go all the way there and back
      - you need to make sure you find a good clinic and experienced surgeon
      - there might be a risk of infection on the plane on your journey back
      - if things go wrong a week or so after, it's going to be a big effort going back to Turkey to fix/treat it

Cool to see someone talk about this instead of people just doing it in the shadows and pretending that they never had it done. I came across your video after going through your older instagram pictures and noticed you had a different hairline in the older pictures. So I Googled your name and hair transplant and found this video. I think it's really great that you talk about this and show the results. Receding hairline and balding happens to nearly EVERY man sooner or later, and seeing this makes it so much better for a lot of us to plan ahead if we want a transplant down the road. Great video, and of course, one doesn't need hair to look good, but it has something to do with ones identity and self esteem in many cases, so I'm sure you've helped a LOT of guys with this video!

Quite the opposite infact. Its given me an edge sometimes in life and the birds love a manly looking bloke. So if your worried about losing your hair. Shave it all off and embrace it. Being bald only looks decent on certain men & imo I feel like a man at best can look good DESPITE being bald & not because of being bald. Sure it looks better than balding but 99% of the time a full head of hair makes you look better than bald or balding.

I started to go when I was 17. It was only 2003 at the time. It completely changed my life for the worst. The internet wasn't as prevalent at the time and no one else I knew had the same issue as me so there was no one to talk to about it. The results from operations at the time weren't great, so it wasn't worth the risk. My confidence was completely destroyed. It took until I was around 26 when I finally felt ok about it. When I think back to my teens, I often wonder how my life could of been different. Fair play for having the courage to go for the operation and for being open about it. It looks great!

I feel the same. I’m 17, I’m not bald, but my dad is and I’ve started to notice that my hairline is receding a little bit. I have the hair texture and shape as my grandfather (mother side) so that gives me hope but that doesn’t really matter since DHT sensitivity is what causes hair loss. So I’m not sure if this receding is just my hair line “maturing” or if this will keep going until I’m completely bald.

    hello, profesional barber here.
that pinky patch towards the top of your neck is not irritation from the barber's tools. it's actually a very common type of birth mark usually referred to as a 'port wine stain'. it's purely due to the dense collection of capillaries in that region of the head. the capillaries in this area are more likely to have an abnormal formation. nothing to worry about, id say about 20% of my clients have it.
for future reference, please do not blame this sort of thing on your barber especially on the internet to over a million people. this can cause unnecessary damage to their reputation, and im sure your barber would appreciate it if you didnt.

I would suggest taking a look at minoxidil foam, applying it on half-dry hair after a shower leaves practically zero residue, then again at night almost nothing after a brush off. Highly recommended, this way you stick to it without the side-effect of ruined hair look. Keep in mind, minoxidil needs to stay on your sculp for hours in order to be fully absorbed.

I don't remember if I posted this information on your other video about Finasteride but someone might find it useful. Finasteride actually improves blood flow throughout the body because of how beneficial it is for keeping your blood vessels soft. Circulation is the best thing for deterring hair loss. It also has anti-cancer properties. Combing your hair in all directions about 100 times twice a day helps, Doing a headstand for 2-3 minutes a day. Finishing your showers with cold water. Nutrient rich oils applied to the scalp once a week... All of these things have stopped my hair loss for about 7 years now. The sooner you start applying these tactics the better. Also do not consume alcohol. Most medications are designed to work for healthy people who otherwise have 1 particular issue. Alcohol inhibits your metabolism. Think about how important and effortless your balance is... if alcohol is affecting you at that level then imagine what is going on with your organs.

I know a guy who had a couple of them, has the hair at the front from those transplants but with a large bald gap between the front and back of head. He shaves it all now anyway. Anyone who does what to fill in their balding with a hair transplant, I would also advise paying for a well reviewed clinic, as a bad hair transplant can look terrible. Spot on Mike. I'm glad you're promoting proper due diligence before undergoing surgery and best of all - trying to shave it off first! This is the absolute best advice that one could give. Hair loss for the most part is mental gymnastics. Once you shave it off after a week or so you will find it's not actually that bad! Afterwards you will be better equipped to make an informed decision what to do next, whether to keep it short, shave, or get on medications and do a hair transplant.
