Dude, I’m amazed you have had a transplant. It looks so full and natural. I’ve had a few done myself and have been amazed by the result. Thanks for your honesty and showing guys it’s okay to have some work done
Wouldn't it have been easier to avoid sexual arousal which causes baldness and drives the growth of body hair than to do the transplant, which will fail since the underlying cause of the problem is not removed? Or is porn-watching and self-pleasuring just something too precious and tough to give up?
@@mentallyilldarkjeroid5378 I mean if you have to remove sex from your life just from the fear that you'll loose your hair, then whats the point of keeping hair if you'll stay away from girls or sex. Its a body's need and natural urge and suppressing is just delaying the inevitable. That is just not a solution. But yeah controlling it will definitely help.
I don’t think you realize that this whole thing is an ad. He’s posting this video because the clinic he went to gave him the transplant for free as long as he posted the video to his hundreds of thousands of followers showing them in a good light
Yes, because there is absolutely no monitory, no incentive, no dark sponsorship/partnership in making such a video. Pay no mind to the links or the special FACEBOOK GROUP dedicated to the clinic he is, oh so not shilling. This is about as transparent as a bricked over window.
Bro thanks you SO MUCH for being real and honest about this, never would’ve thought you’d have gotten a hair transplant or that you had any balding/thinning whatsoever.
Hi Brett, it really looks amazing and natural!! I've had two hair transplant sessions myself at age 49 and 51: one at the front and one on the crown. I also really recommend a transplant for everyone still doubting. It made me a lot happier and more confident. Thanks for sharing!
Brett never felt u had a hair transplant done, if not fr this video i would hav nvr known! It takes courage to open up about something so stigmatised in the society, hope ur journey inspires others who r silently suffering!
i had it 5 years ago. just paid 800 dollars to the clinic in Antalya turkey. the best decision of my life. grown so good and Antalya is the best place i have ever seen in my life.
Brett, thank you for disclosing and being transparent about the procedures so that someone like me who follows your advice on this channel. I have a friend that recently got back from Turkey for a second session of hair transplant. The first time he had it right before COVID and after a few months, his hair grew so naturally without any appearance of grafting. Also, he said many foreigners would simply fly into Turkey and the clinics are basically near or within the airport. I’ve been strongly considering going to Turkey maybe end of this year or early next year. However, I also heard that in Thailand with really good results too.
@@User-zl9pj Because they can only graft so many on your head at once since it has to heal with the new hair growths. The second session is so they can plant more roots. Not everyone would need more than one sessions. I believe it depends on how much you need done. My friend didn’t have any hair on top of his head and I didn’t think he needed a second session but I guess he wanted it more fuller.
Transplant is only means putting new hair roots on top of your head. if u do not use minoxidil/finasteride/microneedling/essentialoils/etc. for post-process , means after the transplant and till the rest of your life, your natural falling process will continue as usual. If you happen to lose much hair on top again, generally it becomes to happen after 5-10 years than the transplant, you might need to consider a second transplant. @@User-zl9pj
I have done hair transplants in the past. I was thinning and it bothered me a lot. These transplants made a huge difference and I am so glad I did it. Unfortunately, it was really expensive as I did these here in the US. However, it was worth it and I would do it again. I know about pricing in Turkey. For a big hair job, it should be somewhere between $2k and $4K. But $4k would be a maximum at a highly reputable place, including room and board. The same procedure in the US would be anywhere between $12K and $16K. I think if someone is willing to travel, they can save a lot of money. I have been to Istanbul many times and it is a pretty nice place and I have never felt unsafe there. Anyone doing this abroad should do all their research before deciding, of course.
@@athul459 its only life long if you are taking finasteride/dutasteride after you get a hair transplant. otherwise the rest of your non transplanted will continue to fall. tons of guys end up shaving it eventually after getting hair transplants.
All of these turkey hair transplant before and afters look the same to me. I suspect they want to use TONS of grafts for the hairline like in this case so they can get super impressive before and afters with very dense hairlines and attract clients. Any transplant doctor can achieve this with tons of grafts. Usually you can only do 4-6k grafts lifetime per scalp....so as you will continue to lose more hair as you age you will want to do more treatments and youll be left with very little left for the rest although you have good density in the front. He had basically no thinning and only recession on the temples....wanting to use so any grafts for that is such a waste IMO. I would have guessed 12-1500. Even the chart he showed was estimated at a lot less than 2400 grafts for Norwood 2-2a temples which is what he had.The way the hairs are placed and staggered towards the front of the hairline are also placed so poorly and it makes it obvious he had a hair transplant. Will gladly pay 3x more and not deal with these problems because they can be avoided.
Thank you bro, you have always been my inspiration. i recently got my hair transplant done. Earlier I was very insecure about what people would think about me but ai will always remember your line which you have said in your video that there's no shame in going and getting it done and bettering yourself, bettering your appearance.❤ Thank you so very much. I appreciate it!!
I have done mine a year ago here in Dubai and i’m so happy with the results. Costed me just $3200 which already includes 4 sessions of PRP and 16 sessions of laser therapy. Consider options here in Dubai, so many clinics offering for a competitive rate.
@@Uid767 the transplanted hair follicles are actually permanent on most cases as per them. But they suggested to use Regaine (foam) and finasteride if I want to protect my existing original hairs from further receding.
I had /have the frizzyness too after hair transplant ! I tried shampooing only once twice a week and also using a filtered shower head to soften the water helps a lot (some water depending where you live contains high amounts calcium and minerals which drys out the hair and makes it brittle ) ! Also using argon oil daily helped
I have it too and mine is pretty rough cause I have really thick hair naturally so the frizzyness is even worse. My transplant now is actually 2 years ago and I‘ve grown it out since. So I haven‘t cut the transplanted hairs once and I thought the frizzyness came from not cutting it. As I like to put my hair in a man bun I actually have to straighten the implanted hairs with an iron 😄 otherwise the top of my head will show mostly frizzier hair than the sides and the back and thats kinda weird 😄 I still hope it gets better once I start cutting my hair or at least the ends.
@@15MrMeloman Omg dude I have that too, but I have never even gotten a transplant. I just naturally have frizzier front hair and I was just thinking recently that the reason is, that this hair is less dense and has less support from other hair. So maybe that's why its frizzier.
I had a transplant over a decade ago. Yes, the frizziness and kinkiness eventually will normalize around the 2 year mark. Even if the grafts were placed at weired angles, eventually everything will normalize in a way that makes the transplanted hairs behave just like your native hairs.
I enjoyed your video, I'm thinking of having hair transplant in turkey also, but I don't know which company to go with, so it's good to have objective reviews from former patients to help in the process of choosing the right clinic.
I didn't think I was gonna enjoy this video as much as I did cause he looks like a mega Chad, but I'm impressed. Thank you I will be getting my transplant soon within the next two years. I'm 33 I will get them by 35 but look 29 again.
That's one hell of a job you did Brett! The hairline is absolutely perfect and natural it's amazing that we live in times where we can actually get our hair back. My HT is scheduled for October, tho I have to go for 4200 grafts but I can't wait to do it. Patience is the key, good nutrition, and it'll all be good! I agree. I don’t think it was to the point where he needed a transplant, but I’m happy for him that it all worked out and also that he was willing to be open about his experience
This is exactly what I’m experiencing. My hair is SUPER thick (as a white guy). However, my hairline is like an M and I’m not experiencing thinning at all. Having mine in August. Thank you :)
Do let us know if you did the procedure, and if it went on well friend! I am 20 years old with an extremely receded hairline who is figuring out what to actually do, so any insight or shared experience would be extremely helpful for me
Well now I know where to go when I'm ready to get a transplant! Not many people on RUclips give you where they went for their surgery! It is so annoying and I feel like it's a scam! But I am so glad that you were honest and you strategy video right off with where you got it done!
we had similar receding hair and after i did the transplant . my hair is full of thick and the line is so gorgeous . i do use rosemary oil foreveryday , organic henna with no chemical substances once for a week and also protein shampoo once a week too to maintain my hair. and am appreciating the growth
I honestly think you look incredible, and it was the best decision to do the hair transplant. That said, I do like you with shorter hair honestly. You rock a buzzcut flawlessly, especially with a beard.
just wanted to give you a really big thanks! I’m 13, I’ve been doing Tae Kwon Do since i was 5, and i’ve been going gym the past 2-3 months. I'm due to have another hair transplant, so enjoyed all the information given. You look fantastic! You've retained the work without having to do too many things, so you can keep it simple!
I don't get why they always create these super harsh, perfect semi-circular hairlines. I don't think I have ever seen a person with that kinda hairline occuring naturally. Might just be a thing for clinics in Turkey though. I've seen clinics in Spain which strive for more natural hairline shapes. But if you plan on wearing your hair long and covering most of your hairline anyway I guess that's fine too. For a buzz cut I actually think your receding hairline looked more attractive. Had a more mature, masculine touch to it.
I have the same type of hairline you used to have . They did a awesome job i think . I would love to have results like those . Good luck in the recovery process .
Man the result you had at 3 month, i got that in 6 months. Your result was literally twice as fast, and the result is amazing. My 6 months are complete but i can literally see my whole scalp still. My procedure went great, doc had amazing record and I took care much more than what was required, but still getting no major result. I am 24 and my donor hair are very healthy too, have been using minox and prp too, but still looks like a 3 month result at 6 month.
They used an unnecessarily high amount of grafts for his transplant since this was a promotional deal for them. Now it looks fantastic, but if he keeps losing hair it’s not gonna be great for him.

I wouldn't do a hair transpalant at your clinic, man. They did it too dense and I have a theory that they did it just to make sure it looks good as it was a partnership. Also, a reputable clinic has a surgeon doing the implanting and assistants doing the sorting and counting of the hairs when the doc is doing the extracting. Your doctor should be a member of the ISHRS preferably. Aside from being a member of the ISHRS , my doctor is the chairman of the Polish Hair Restoration Assosiation, and for very similar hairline he recommended doing 1200-1600 grafts.
My Dad has alopecia. My hair started thinning at the age of 14 by 17 i had noticable receded hairline. Took Medicines and minox till 23 then finally decided to go bald and loved it. Cant imagine myself having hair ever again 😂
I just rescued my hair from diffusion disaster with fin and oral min. Though one side of my temple wore down faster because of combing/styling. Considering HT down the road, Good documentation of your journey.
I was at the same clinic with a freind who had the sugery. We went from germany there for 1 week. The clinic is set up like an art museum. All the staff workers are models. They try to add costs from time to time (thats normal). They try to take the most out of a client. But very professional! BUT DO INSIST on what YOU want! Always communicate it several times!
Hats off to you man, it was your "minoxidil for beards" video that I watched which made me even know about minoxidil. I used it to grow my beard. Now it's this video that has inspired me to go get the hair transplant, I also currently have the "m" shaped hairline. Thanks man!
Same thing as well for me😂. I stumbled on his minox video, then hopped on minox and got a beard. Now I'm getting a transplant next year for my m shaped hairline... And this video is one of my biggest motivators
I still have hair but Dang I wish I had that much longer hair. I would style the heck out of it. I dont think minoxidil or finasteride would help here.
ive been thinking about hair transplants for awhile, ive always had a big forehead but i feel like my temples are starting to recede, exactly how yours are. Your results are very encouraging

Pull the trigger on Finasteride brother, or you will continue to receed behind the transplanted hair. The sooner you take it better - 1mg 3 x a week is enough for most people

Hey Brett, been following your journey for a long time and so glad that you're happy with your results. I've personally been on oral minoxidil 5mg and oral finasteride 1mg for about 14 months now and have seen great progress in my hairline, top, and crown. Still thinking about a transplant at some point to fill in a bit more. I will say I think it's very important you get on finasteride just to keep all of your progress and hard work. I'm a healthy 31yo male and I personally have experienced 0 side effects, and even on the low chance you do experience some, you can just get off the finasteride and those side effects should subside within a week. Hope this helps in your decision since you are still on the fence about it! Cheers,
You should seriously look into the dangers of oral minoxidil and maybe consider topical. Unlike oral fin, the amount of minoxidil from topical that's absorbed systemically is very low and thus so are the side effects
Also with Fin if you experience minor side effects you don’t have to jump the gun and completely get off it. It’s typically recommended to just lower your daily dosage from 1mg to .5 mg or take a 1mg every 2-3 days. If that doesn’t suffice then you can try the topical form as a last resort
@@lorcansnow2111 Oral minoxidil for heart conditions is used at a very high dose, around the 40mg range. It would be very rare to get side effects from 1.25mg or 2.5mg OM every day but it should still be considered and discussed with a cardiologist
except PFS side effects don't go away even if you stop taking it, and most people with it have had it for many years. Second you have no clue what you're losing from your DHT and y ou got no clue how minoxidil works
many people are suffering with permanent, life changing side effects from taking fin. There is a literally a disorder called post finasteride syndrome and there is a huge class action law suit going on against the company that makes it. When I took it, I had alarming side effects within a few weeks but thank God they were not permanent. Unfortunately not everyone is so lucky. I have since had plenty of success with taking high doses of saw palmetto and pumpkin seed oil
This is so tempting, especially your results from this clinic as I have the same hairline that you had prior to your transplant. I still wonder if a non RUclipsr would have the same experience, could your care have been better because of the collaboration?
@@BrettMaverick Didn't you mention in the video that this clinic reached out to you for a collaboration? That would signify some sort of preferential treatment. Maybe I misunderstood?
@@MrMooMoo89 From a business perspective, it's totally normal to go out your way and provide extra things to an influencer... it's totally normaly that they are not going to treat you like they treated him. Though, I highly doubt the difference would be big enough to notice a difference for the surgery itself. I think it's more the overall service, the hotel, the consultation, all the little extra things. Also in the video, he did say a few things he didn't like about the surgery, so we know he's being somewhat honest. And top of that this is like his 3rd video of his surgery, if they did pay him to maje the video, it would (I assume) only be the first video after the surgery, so basically he is free to say whatever he wants, he probably didn't even have to make a third video.
@@dswtgs3162 Less likely they paid him for the procedure and more likely they did not make him pay for the procedure. Given the fact that many of these clinics are hair farms it would make sense that they would provide a higher quality procedure as advertisement for a youtube with as many subscribers at Brett.
I was really nervous about taking finasteride too. I had the prescription for a year before I actually took it. After about 6 months hairfall stopped almost entirely. I haven't noticed any side effects and I've been taking it almost a year. I also started taking oral minoxidil about 5 months ago, which has made the crown fill in pretty well. I wish I had started both when I first started balding.
minoxidil actually causes vasodilation and increases blood flow to the hair follicles as they get more nutrients and oxygen and prevent hair loss. nice video thanx, btw i was graduated from koc university med school where mr. serkan is working.
Great results, just two things I thought id mention : 1. Minoxidil does not inhibit blood flow, it promotes blood blow to the scalp, its a vasodilator originally used to lower BP but with the blood flow effect it caused hair growth. 2. Without a DHT blocker like finasteride you will continue to lose hair, Minoxidil does not stop hair loss it can only delay it. Also Post Finasteride syndrome has been completely debunked, it does not exist. But things like Gyno are definitely a risk while on the medication. Id say pick your poison Balding or possible man boobs. Bare in mind the incidence of side affects are very low. otherwise congrats, looks great.
im thinking about going to clinic to see if i need to go on finasteride for potentially hairline recession as i would like to get on earlier than later but im worried about ppl telling stories on fin having rly bad side effects? U think fin is worth it with the possible side effects?
@@archiesutherland6127 Everyone is different, but the clinical literature shows a side affect incidence of less of 3%. If you start getting side affects you can always change your dosage or completely stop. all side affects will reverse aside for gyno(would need surgery to remove breast tissue) Iv been on fin for almost a year and haven't had any side affects. Id say give it a try and see how you respond
pfs has not been debunked you idiot. where’s the source on that? you dont even know the difference between “affect” and “effect” but we’re supposed to believe you?
3% is not very low, it's a huge number lol. Also considering that you might have a hidden predisposition to side affects which you might not know about
give it a shot mate, I tried a few times on different dosages and got sides each time like clockwork. but every time I stopped the sides subsided also like clockwork so no harm done and kept my hair looking better for a while
I can almost always tell when someone has had a hair transplant. Your results are extremely good with long hair. It's hard to say if they'd be as good if you cut your hair short. I can only tell you've had a transplant when you pull your hair back. But...I doubt that most people could tell at all. I waited way too long for a transplant and my donor hair is thin so my transplant results would be a nightmare. As much as I despise losing my hair, I know that a bad hair transplant is FAR worse than just owning it and going bald. Congrats on your results.
I'm pretty sure almost everyone can tell, it's quite obvious lol, the hairline is just not natural, the density is weird. This is not a "skill" or something
I just started thinning 2 months ago at 26 , really fucks with your head being able to see your scalp in the mirror , self confidence goes down and low self esteem , going to get it soon
I know you’re trying to avoid finasteride or dutasteride but you can still experience hair loss with recessions instead of diffuse thinning. Watch more plates more dates. You can just take the pill 3 times a week while avoiding side affects
Great results. Happy for you. But side note, America is no joke when it comes to this. I had 2400 grafts, doctor preformed the procedure, along with 5 nurses and a PA, the whole thing took 12 hours. They don’t play around.

I’m glad I saw a comment like this. I think people tend to think these unnatural hairlines are a better alternative to something natural. The fill straight hairline look kinda silly in my opinion!
You don't need to take finasteride to maintain your new hairline. You need to take it if you're worried the hairs further back starts receding, and creates a very awkward gap. I would suggest keeping up with minoxidil since I don't see any signs of continuous balding behind your hairline.
For the frizziness, you can make a natural hair gel by boiling 1 tbsp whole flax seeds with 1 cup of water until you get a white layer. Strain it, cool it down in the fridge, transfer it to a squeeze bottle. Refrigerate when done. My entire head was a haystack and that's the only thing that got rid of the friz.
Got mine done about 18 months ago in Canada, mine is still kind of frizzy and wirey. not sure if it will go away or not. I use a coconut oil leave in conditioner that seems to help a bit. I have been on Finesteride for 15 years, no side effects so far.
Great results. Congratulations on that. I have a different pattern of androgenic alopecia. Thanks to God I have inherited balding pattern from my dad's side. My mom's dad had all top of head bald, just I call it a 'wreath of hair" around sides, temples and back of the head. Both her grandpas had this pattern. My crown is shredded and slightly, about .5 inch of frontal hairline. I still have that triangular shape so my face looks proportional-chin to nose, nose to eyebrow height, eyebrow height to fridge hairline. I have booked initially my sapphire hair transplant of 3k grafts. In the mean time for the last 3.5 months I have been using a caffeine shampo everyday leaving on my scull for 30 mins, 2- 3 times a week Indian gooseberry oil has been used along with derma roller, fresh yeasts or brewery yeast tablets that have thickened already my hair that are not affected by DHT and will never have been. A loads of ' baby hair' so my hair has become very hard to manage. I just wanted to thicken existing hair and get new one in areas resistant to DHT in order to get more grafts and better results I future. Finasteride and minoxidil did work 6 years ago with massage making my hair thicker by 80 percent in 6 weeks. I don't want to have side effects in future and a routine of massaging my hair with gooseberry oil for the rest of my life. I want to grow my hair to 5 inches longer than you Currently have. To get back to my 19-21 y.o. look.
You don’t always need to take finasteride. It depends on your pattern of hairloss and family history. I’ll give an example. If you only have temporal recession and that’s common in your history, you can just get a transplant to fill it in and not need finasteride because you won’t experience anymore hairball anywhere else. If you are a diffuse thinner, then that is different because it’s much harder to fill that up with transplants well. Let’s say maybe 5 years after your transplant you see your crown start to thin, consult your doctor and maybe then you can start on medication.
Don’t be too worried about Fin. The side effects only affect around 2% of people and will go away if you stop taking it. I was nervous too but have had zero side effects and been on for 5 months now
@@scottr640 how on earth do you know 15 guys who have taken it. That already doesn’t sound believable and statistically is highly unlikely they all experienced side effects.

I know you posted this video a while back, but I want to say my experience with Finastaride has been actually very positive. I feel my libido actually increased, and I took it for 2 years without a hitch. I stopped bc I was too lazy to get my refill. You only have about 3 to 6 months before you really have to get back on track. But you do have to take it at the same time everyday. If you forget, it's better to just skip that day entirely and start again at the normal scheduled time. That was my only thing as well.
This was super insightful as someone who has been considering getting it done! Also highly recommend taking finasteride, it’s done wonders for me. Been taking it for about 4 years now and had no side effects. ED and other negative side effects are super, SUPER rare. I was worried too at the start but it’s been a great decision to start taking it.
I got the frizzy hairs with my 9 months hair transplant too. A bit boring to get nice hairstyle. But I noticed things got better with time. The roots looked more natural and things were impoving a little bit by cutting hair.
Yea idk that might look bad in 5-10 years if you keep losing hair behind the transplanted hairline. Usually you are suppose to do transplant when your hair loss stabilizes. Expect to do a 2nd HT a few years later
That is always the risk. Its tempting to focus on the hairline but later you might be out of grafts to fill out the whole head. Situation becomes tricky.
What a great result!! I just had my hair transplant like 2 months ago and im really excited for the results. I am just using minoxidil right now. Are you using finasteride? Would it be optimal for me to start finasteride also?
I was wondering myself as well, I got sides from the topical fin/ mino solution so it’s not an option for me anymore. I heard these transplants won’t give you good results if you don’t go on fin. EDIT: he states near the end he has fin but hasn’t started it due to fear of sides. He says he’ll start it eventually… good luck👍🏽
@@EJleon96 thank you for the reply. It's insane how everyone I know also gets side effects from it. And terrible forms. While online it says it is as low as 1 percent? So, do I eventually need to cope with the side effects of finasteride also?
Brett, the ketoconazole will dry your hair out. If you start finasteride, get a pill cutter that cuts it in fours. Take .25 mg mon-fri. It will work just as well as 1 mg daily. Some people take oral minoxidil instead of finasteride also. Two diff mechanisms but people have success on the oral minoxidil only. 2.5 mg is the prescribed dose. You can just take 1.25 mg daily though. Easier than doing topical. Or stick to what you are already doing but when you start finasteride, start with .25mg instead.
Bro, it's only a small percentage of people that get bad side effects with finasteride. And they are usually people who are already kind of out of shape or have other health issues that make them vulnerable to bad blood circulation etc. I was worried as well but I've been on finasteride for one year with no issues. I just take .5 mg a day. That's half the regular FDA suggested dosage. But studies have shown that this half dose blocks about 61% of DHT while the 1 mg full tablet only blocks about 65% DHT. Therefore it's really diminishing returns beyond the half dosage. It will go a long way in preserving the hair you have behind your transplant for life, but with an extremely low risk of any side effects taking half the dosage (.5) for a big and active guy like yourself.
finasteride is, because after doing the transplant you still might loose the hairs behind the transplanted ones, making it look ridiculous. Minoxidil just enhances the look after the transplant.
Dude, I’m amazed you have had a transplant. It looks so full and natural. I’ve had a few done myself and have been amazed by the result. Thanks for your honesty and showing guys it’s okay to have some work done
Thanks so much!!
You should also gone to Türkiye so treatment high quality treatment at a very reasonable cost
Wouldn't it have been easier to avoid sexual arousal which causes baldness and drives the growth of body hair than to do the transplant, which will fail since the underlying cause of the problem is not removed? Brett, thank you for disclosing and being transparent about the procedures so that someone like me who follows your advice on this channel. I have a friend that recently got back from Turkey for a second session of hair transplant. The first time he had it right before COVID and after a few months, his hair grew so naturally without any appearance of grafting. Also, he said many foreigners would simply fly into Turkey and the clinics are basically near or within the airport. I’ve been strongly considering going to Turkey maybe end of this year or early next year. However, I also heard that in Thailand with really good results too.
U said second session ? Why a second , do we have to keep going back for sessions ?
@@User-zl9pji believe maybe if ur hair lost continues or to make sure everything goes as planned
How many days do u have to wait to start wearing a hat ? Don’t wanna walk around with grafts and everything
How long does the end result even last. Are you paying all this money for like only 2 years of results. Before it goes back to before?
@@Kage-jk4pjlife long result
I have done mine a year ago here in Dubai and i’m so happy with the results. Costed me just $3200 which already includes 4 sessions of PRP and 16 sessions of laser therapy. Consider options here in Dubai, so many clinics offering for a competitive rate.
Did they tell you how to prevent other hair follicles from falling?
@@Uid767 the transplanted hair follicles are actually permanent on most cases as per them. But they suggested to use Regaine (foam) and finasteride if I want to protect my existing original hairs from further receding.
How much in turkey?
Where did you get it done? What’s the name of the clinic?
I had /have the frizzyness too after hair transplant ! I tried shampooing only once twice a week and also using a filtered shower head to soften the water helps a lot (some water depending where you live contains high amounts calcium and minerals which drys out the hair and makes it brittle ) ! Also using argon oil daily helped
Get a sulfate free shampoo, I'd recommend ion or shea moisture night and day difference. Especially if you have fine hair
Even if the grafts were placed at weired angles, eventually everything will normalize in a way that makes the transplanted hairs behave just like your native hairs.
the angles that the hairs are implanted do not change.

Stop complaining. It looks good

Aside from being a member of the ISHRS , my doctor is the chairman of the Polish Hair Restoration Assosiation, and for very similar hairline he recommended doing 1200-1600 grafts.

A life changing decision. I gotta go for it next year after saving enough budget

Def on the higher end that graft amount for the area you got. Some surgeons simply are not as skilled and need way more grafts to deliver
I was really nervous about taking finasteride too. I had the prescription for a year before I actually took it. After about 6 months hairfall stopped almost entirely. minoxidil actually causes vasodilation and increases blood flow to the hair follicles as they get more nutrients and oxygen and prevent hair loss. nice video thanx, btw i was graduated from koc university med school where mr. serkan is working.
Sir, do you think using finasterid is totally mandatory ?
@@fasteth3053 hello, nothing is mandatory. depends on severity. pls consult ur dermatologist
Great results, just two things I thought id mention :

@@archiesutherland6127 Everyone is different, but the clinical literature shows a side affect incidence of less of 3%.
If you start getting side affects you can always change your dosage or completely stop. all side affects will reverse aside for gyno(would need surgery to remove breast tissue)
Iv been on fin for almost a year and haven't had any side affects.

Strain it, cool it down in the fridge, transfer it to a squeeze bottle. Refrigerate when done. My entire head was a haystack and that's the only thing that got rid of the friz.
Complete bullshit
@@maalikserebryakov Why? LOL only a person who hasn't tried it would say that.
Best hair transplant in the world our muslim brother turkiye
Got mine done about 18 months ago in Canada, mine is still kind of frizzy and wirey. not sure if it will go away or not. I use a coconut oil leave in conditioner that seems to help a bit. I have been on Finesteride for 15 years, no side effects so far.
you should had gone to istanbul to do it.
Cope. If u lost even one hair, you need to be on Dutasteride for life
Weirdo @@maalikserebryakov
Try topical finasteride, works better for those with mild loss, I use every other day at low dose for maintenance
Don’t be too worried about Fin. The side effects only affect around 2% of people and will go away if you stop taking it. I was nervous too but have had zero side effects and been on for 5 months now
Yeah no point in getting a transplant if you aren't going to take it
I know maybe 15 guys that have taken it and every one has had side effects. Mostly low sperm, low energy, low labido
@@scottr640 how on earth do you know 15 guys who have taken it. That already doesn’t sound believable and statistically is highly unlikely they all experienced side effects.
@@MrMelonMan96 TBH i probably know more than 15. Its very popular and well known now
When i first got the prescription and i was asking the doctor in my city about side affects the doctor said "half of the men in Sydney are on it so i wouldnt be concerned" haha no joke
My best mate just stopped taking it recently for the usual sexual issues that come along with it
@@scottr640 lol I’m one of them. My doctor said the same thing including himself 😂 I was worried about the side effects but was reassured enough by the statistics to take it and have not experienced any SEs (except less hair loss and hair regrowth on my crown).
Who are these 15+ men you know and do you think the SEs could be psychological?
I know you posted this video a while back, but I want to say my experience with Finastaride has been actually very positive. I feel my libido actually increased, and I took it for 2 years without a hitch. I stopped bc I was too lazy to get my refill. You only have about 3 to 6 months before you really have to get back on track. But you do have to take it at the same time everyday. If you forget, it's better to just skip that day entirely and start again at the normal scheduled time. That was my only thing as well.
God bless turkey doctors 🇹🇷
Looks great
Good to see male figures like you and Chris Bumstead
This was super insightful as someone who has been considering getting it done!
Also highly recommend taking finasteride, it’s done wonders for me. Been taking it for about 4 years now and had no side effects. ED and other negative side effects are super, SUPER rare. I was worried too at the start but it’s been a great decision to start taking it.
Would you eat a bag of skittles if there was a 1% chance of one of them containing cyanide?
@@KvltKommando The major difference is my life isn’t on the line with finasteride.
How do you know you actually don’t have side effects? You don’t have a placebo phase to have compared it to.
Lol, that makes no sense.@@KvltKommando
@@CalebAdams The life of your potential offspring is though.
I got the frizzy hairs with my 9 months hair transplant too. A bit boring to get nice hairstyle. But I noticed things got better with time. The roots looked more natural and things were impoving a little bit by cutting hair.
Türkiye is best medical treatment high quality treatment and so reasonable cost ❤️👍
Seeing your results makes me so happy for u ,and for me cause I'm getting that🎉
Yea idk that might look bad in 5-10 years if you keep losing hair behind the transplanted hairline. Usually you are suppose to do transplant when your hair loss stabilizes. Expect to do a 2nd HT a few years later
That is always the risk. Its tempting to focus on the hairline but later you might be out of grafts to fill out the whole head. Situation becomes tricky.
He should be good as long as he uses a 5AR inhibitor like finasteride or better yet, dutasteride
@@EJleon96 So, have you researched any other alternatives that actually work? I have heard of dutasteride.
do you think it ok to to a hairtranpslant ?
@@HulstylerOnehow old are you. It's good to take finasteride do not let your hairloss progress even more
Brett, the ketoconazole will dry your hair out.
I hope you use Finasteride or other hairloss treatments to prevent further hairloss
Man shut up the more bald slapheads there are the better it is for the Fin/Dut Gang😂
65% dht is not
Enough in my view. You need to
Block 100% Scalp dht but thats difficult
100% not realistic and not necessary to halt balding. @@maalikserebryakov
is minoxidil and finasteride compulsory to apply?
finasteride is, because after doing the transplant you still might loose the hairs behind the transplanted ones, making it look ridiculous. Minoxidil just enhances the look after the transplant.
You can get topical finasteride just like the minoxidil, which has far more subtle side effects than the tablets
You definitely looked better before the hair transplant
