The transplanted hairs can take a few months to enter the “ugly duckling” phase. A very small percentage of people simply never experience the ugly duckling phase of a hair transplant, too. You could just be one of those few people.
I take minox/dutasteride, vitamins etc. I didn't drink or vape for the first two months, started working out again after 3 weeks however after about 2 weeks then hair started falling out. It has nothing to do with any of the things you've mentioned.
Totally happy w/ my fue hair transplant, performed over 15 years ago. I had a great surgeon. I have zero signs of the strip scar through my hair. I had my surgery done in San Francisco at the time, but now the surgeon is in Austin Texas. His name is Dr Daniel McGrath
I need help. I'm on month 9 into my hair transplant that I did in turkey. My frontal scalp and hairline has bumps and ingrown hairs. Looks like sports all over. I'm currently using hydrocortisone steroid cream for 3 days, its taking forever. The clinic that I spoke to said it is not foliculitis but it looks like it. I'm going to see a doctor in the UK where I'm from to take a look at it. I think I've had a failed hair transplant and I'm really depressed.
Pubic and armpit hair have thicker cuticles to protect them from the damp (and ammonia rich in the case of pubes 😅) environments they are found in. Hey Doc I don’t understand how transplanted hair is normally able to flourish when it’s being placed in the same area which just previously underwent balding ?its not like DHT gives translated hair a pass
My first transplant had amazing results, far exceeded my expectations. My second is still healing, the hairs just started to grow (3,5 months) but there are so many ingrowing hairs this time, a little painful, is this normal? P.S. I have kinky hair.
I think some of these people just aren’t happy in life in general. Complaining about their hair is just one way to express that despair. If they were happier in life they would be happier with their result, or at least it wouldn’t bother them as much.

He did say you can surgically remove the scarred area but not always as it depends if there is enough skin to remove the scarred area etc. Also you will get another scar where the suture is done but probably very minimal compared to the original one. You can do a FUE transplant too. I think the tattoo option is a good compromise and I've seen some good results with that.
@@blackiesun Interesting. So are you saying they tattoo over the scar to make it less visible? The big problem with that, or any hair transplant really, is that you can't really shave your head very close, or even go totally bald because the scars look horrendous.
