I was in that clinic in May!!! They saw me on short notice (I live in a neighbouring country) and I had so many questions and was in the middle of a hair freakout. A clinic where I live had recommended 2000 grafts without ever even checking my head. This clinic brought me to the doctor and took time to check my scalp and hairline and discuss my history of hair loss. They then advised that they won't do a hair transplant because I had diffuse thinning and I had not tried finasteride or minoxidil, so I should try that for a year first as a hair transplant is likely not necessary. They then took 360 pictures record of my hair and let me know to keep in contact over the coming months. Total cost for consultation - ZERO. I asked if I have to buy the finasteride and minoxidil from them, they advised there was no need because it is cheaper from pharmacies. So they made ZERO money from it but the advice they gave was absolutely gold. 7 months later, my hair is 90% full from the medical therapy. I have some loss at my temples and hairline, and I know for sure if I decide to do the hairline in future, it'll be going to them. Amazing to see a clinic legitimately care and put what is best for the patient above profit. Amazing. I also showed them your channel when I was there , so I think they are subscribers now 😎

a few years ago the grafts were harvested by making a fairly substantial incision in the back of the scalp, extracting that skin strip, and sewing it up…is there a better non invasive way of harvesting the grafts, or is it pretty much the same. I have had a couple of transplants, and the graft placement were tedious and time consuming but never a problem, however the incision, sutures, drainage and recovery. from sourcing the. grafts was invasive, painful later on, and leaves scars on the back of the scalp
He mentioned this in the video. It sounds like you had the FUT method. Where a strip of scalp is taken from the donor area, and the follicles are extracted, then implanted into the recipient area. With the FUE method, the follicles are extracted from the donor area, then implanted into the recipient area. There is no cutting or suturing involved. Just taking the follicles from one area, and putting them somewhere else. I'm sure, with that, the recovery time is less painful (if any) and shorter.

I just said the same thing! I said around 47 though. He really needs to stay out of the sun!
Nooo, 50 is too much but in his 40s yes.
Why isn't general anesthesia used for this?
2:41 hes only 37? I guess he skipped sunscreen wherever he went, thats rough
Lol, maybe. He's basically been around the world at this point, based in Vietnam. At least whatever effort he's not been putting into his skin has gone into his body! He's made quite the transformation
Looks normal to me. How is a 37 year old supposed to look? Please don't base your answer on celebrities.
Lol I thought that same! He's looking rough for his age.
@@Lalinjaman on people I know and family. I know men 10 yrs older than him that look younger than him.
@@Lalinjaman He’s 3 years older than me and he looks like the same age as my father, tbh.
I really do love that you recognize that there are good and bad clincs in all countries instead of in essence being racist as many can be.
They did a great job, I think Thai ppl have the image to me of detail oriented patient and artistic, all are good quality for this job
My boy have eyebrows now👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🔥
Happy new year doctor you eye brows making a come back..
Another great video, you got yourself a new subscriber tonight! I'd love to see your opinion on if Margot Robbie has had cosmetic surgery. There is a lot of controversy on what/if she has had anything done.
Wow, that guy is only 37? I would have assumed he was closer to...47? Is that bad? Am I way off?
Partying and drugs and not sleeping enough gets people older. Also, kids.
lol I watch his channel and I was shocked to learn he's that age too. nah he just looks old
Thought he was older🙄
@@professionalboycottservice7872 definitely. in my 20s i had a horrible lifestyle, looked 35 lol. but i did a full 180 and after some years my skin looked much better. of course some damage that has been done cannot be fixed .
@@annipsy2185 The best way to keep youth forever, regardless of how stressful or wasteful you lived your life in your younger years, is to decide to never have children. Especially if you are a vagina haver and assigned female at birth.
So if it’s 3k in Thailand, what’s the cost in the US/Canada?
You remind me of James McAvoy as THE BEAST, in the movie, 'Glass'.
Looks like the doc got his pre med dose and is ready to be anesthetized 🤣
bro is either high or haven't slept in weeks
a few years ago the grafts were harvested by making a fairly substantial incision in the back of the scalp, extracting that skin strip, and sewing it up…is there a better non invasive way of harvesting the grafts, or is it pretty much the same.
I love your content! Any advisement on someone with microtia and what kind of doctor would be able to do a non-implant supported prosthesis Dr?! I have goldenhars syndrome and I think it’s the last correction I need to feel whole.
I love your Videos 🙂
thanks doc
4:03 "if we're working on the eyebrows..." have people had hair transplanted from the back of their heads to their eyebrows? Letting that grow an inch would look freaky.
I’m seeing a bit of a mustache growing in along with eyebrows!
Kind of a confusing thumbnail.
The after pic just looks like you're covering your hairline with a bandana.
I went to this clinic 3 months ago
🎉 they are good
