Man that is ridiculously impressive. If only AAA developers today worked as hard as you to solve console limitation issues. But they got it too good so they don't try as hard as you
It would be too easy to blame developers alone; today's video game industry is nothing like the '90s. Some companies are massive, with decisions sometimes made without project leads' approval. Marketing departments take a big slice of the pie, with individuals who derive no pleasure from gaming and understand little about it, exerting insane pressure to release games as quickly as possible. Work hours have always been significant in gaming, but constantly working under pressure isn't sustainable long-term, especially when someone fresh out of business school is giving nonsensical orders while earning three times a developer salary. 😵💫
@@Frogbull55 I understand what you're saying and that is true. But the point I was trying to make is that necessity is the mother of invention. I think consoles today are nowhere near as limited and developers aren't challenged enough to make diamonds in the rough. And like you said when the publisher has a business plan that concentrates more on secondary stuff like microtransactions and political optics then making a truly great game that squeezes out the max of a console's capability becomes secondary. Known or hidden capabilities. For example I always thought that porting over Street Fighter Alpha 2 to the SNES was a small miracle. Due to the creation of that graphics compression SDD-1 chip . You just don't see stuff like this today. I know we're talking two completely different generations of hardware and architecture. But for every amazing Doom port on the Nintendo Switch there are a bunch of great games that were never even ported or disasters like MK11 and MK1 reboot ports for the Switch. Another example of not maxing out a console's power were the launches of the PS5 and Series X. These are the two most powerful home consoles ever created. But at launch neither console had a true exclusive title built from the ground for this generation and to fully use their capabilities and power. Every game out was just an enhanced PS4 pro and Xbox One X port at best. And a lot weren't even that good. I know Covid delayed things and projects for Sony and Microsoft. And that there were chip shortages worldwide. But you mean to tell me neither of these industry giants couldn't have one true showpiece this gen title ready for launch? I like millions of other loyal customers paid a fortune and waited in line for almost a combined 24 hrs to get both consoles. That's blasphemy! I'm 41 years old and I don't ever remember a new console generation launch this underwhelming. Well anyways that's my take. Keep up the great work and thx for responding. Maybe one day you can port over Killer Instinct to the Genesis. I've always wondered if that's possible after how well Vectorman on the Mega Drive. Take care.
tbh I really don't care about filters for the most part they usually look like ass aside that the only times they're useful is when it comes to having planes with smooth gradients (take sm64's shifting sand land's floor for example), which can be easily replaced by vertex coloring, which is less performance intensive than a texture the N64 sucked in graphics thanks to the pitiful texture cache and weak as hell RAMbus
Actually the PlayStation has no 3D hardware, it's all done through software. The Saturn added an extra VDP2 last minute hence why it's so hard to work with. The PlayStation is the weakest hardware of the big three, and has the biggest library, with Saturn being in the middle for the number of games and hardware power. (I was just as shocked as you probably are to learn the Saturn has more games than the N64 too)
@BlueEyedVibeChecker actually sega graphics less than psx you can noted that on RE game and it's can't running game's like crash bandicoot 2 , Nintendo had better pixels than psx but it's losing sound quality and cuteness video filter because it's not CD rom and the game will be shorter than psx even btw saturn was exit before psx unlike n64 newer but it's had less game's than sega saturn because it was failed system just like wiiU this they build GameCube so fast even though Playstation 2 kicked off GameCube and Xbox easy even the first Xbox was very strong device with powerful graphics and technology but it's had less care because Microsoft in first place was lazzy and they started with 360 .

Should I consider bringing Chewbacca as my legal counsel for some extra support? 🙃
Cry about it
Man that is ridiculously impressive.
Take care.
looks cool, too bad it's fake😅
You are fake.
Have you ever thought about making tutorials?
I thought about it but talented people are already doing it, if you're interested by development on Saturn check the YT channel of @EmeraldNova
What ai do you use to make the video?
AI?
@@Frogbull55app like filmora or Sony Vegas to make this video.
I use an old version of Vegas
Btw, description disclaimers don't legally protect you, OP/
Jesus loves you!
Because psx had gpu and 3d graphics better than sega and n64,
N64 just had better filter image's not music or 3d
kek
And you always can play dream cast on psx mini
@XbandTv
tbh I really don't care about filters for the most part
they usually look like ass
aside that the only times they're useful is when it comes to having planes with smooth gradients (take sm64's shifting sand land's floor for example), which can be easily replaced by vertex coloring, which is less performance intensive than a texture
the N64 sucked in graphics thanks to the pitiful texture cache and weak as hell RAMbus
(I was just as shocked as you probably are to learn the Saturn has more games than the N64 too)
@BlueEyedVibeChecker actually sega graphics less than psx you can noted that on RE game and it's can't running game's like crash bandicoot 2 , Nintendo had better pixels than psx but it's losing sound quality and cuteness video filter because it's not CD rom and the game will be shorter than psx even btw saturn was exit before psx unlike n64 newer but it's had less game's than sega saturn because it was failed system just like wiiU this they build GameCube so fast even though Playstation 2 kicked off GameCube and Xbox easy even the first Xbox was very strong device with powerful graphics and technology but it's had less care because Microsoft in first place was lazzy and they started with 360 .
fake News. Kd o github desse código? 😂😂😂
