I like your channel. I lived in Pattaya during the late 90s. Dial up internet. I was in my 20s. I'm glad I experienced it while I was young. The most hi so spot was Royal Garden. There were no girls with tattoos. Mostly Germans. No Russians or Indians. A different time, a different king.

Trev, thanks for the informative vlog. I’ll give a shout out to The Sportsman down Soi 13. I believed you done a video walking down Soi 13 earlier this year and pointed out the establishment as you walked by. The Sportsman has a nice traditional bar-like interior with sports memorabilia collected over the years. It has a pool table, various screens, good Thai/Western food menu and most importantly, a belly-busting Sunday Carvery on offer. I believe they do quiz nights and golfing tours. The owner’s name is Dave - if he’s still around? I also been to The Nest (Robin’s Nest when I last visited). A great place for food and watching sports well into the small hours.

Can't believe the new sports lounge, on soi buaukheo,, great bar friendly owner always sorts us the Barnsley football matches to watch, and tremendous food for sale too ..

Le Pub is a great venue for watching sports. Phil has great TVs, delicious food and a lovely staff. And if your team can’t score, you still can😊

Many great sports bars in Pattaya !!! I personally prefer the smaller open air ones cos there is more of a "Pattaya atmosphere", those big air-con ones like Robin Hood could be anywhere in the world (also Germany/UK/USA etc.). 👍⚽🏉🏀🥊

Excellent review Trevor, sports bar that I really enjoy going to in Pattaya is Frazers Sports Bar in Jomtiem just down the big hill heading into Jontiem. Been there a few times and great food air-con bar, and nice cold beer, and lots of Aussies in there watching the AFL on the TV. Been into the Robin Hood many times great place, plus the sport mans bar & Restaurant is also good to watch the sports

Each to his own but I much prefer the open air bars where you can watch what's going on outside rather than peering at a TV screen? It's much more entertaining apart from when the Toon are playing that is?

Great review Trev, In my opinion I Rovers is the best sports bar in Pattaya, Great food, cold beer, fantastic staff, and always great blokes to have a beer with there. Darren, Steve, Colin and Gary always make you feel welcome. Amazing staff and an all round great place . Its my home away from home!

Some nice interviews Trev, especially with Danny. Had heard about him a couple years back, from another vlogger. But first time actually seeing his sports bar. Looks fantastic, and with the corner location, a very open atmosphere. Beautiful bar, will definitely pay him a visit on my next trip over whether a game is on or not. Nice job with this vid!

Interesting that you talk about your times spent at I Roves back in the day Trev. I stayed at the old Irish Rovers back in the day. When Simon was running it. Used to like watching rugby at Retox, pity it has closed.

So many good places to watch sports and have a few beers...:) Which one has the best burger?...Trev I'd like to see you do a video on beach activities...from jet skiing, parasailing and a good massage at Jomtien . I wanna see Trev up about 150 feet on a para-sail after a few pints 555 or how about the Zip line from Pattaya Park Tower....as usual good video Trev
Zip line still closed thank god lol as for watersports mate I don't wanna encourage this with some of the horror stories I have seen and also heard. Leave it with me see what i can sort
Because I lived in South Pattaya (near the Ocean Marina), I spent a LOT of time at Fraser's which is probably the best IMO. However, I did see your interview at Time Bar so I ate there and enjoyed it. I also went to i Rovers and Danny's and I can see why people like them. But, parking is a problem in LK Metro and Tree Town. When I came into the downtown core, I always combined my visit to the sport bar with a soapy massage.

I remember being in the iRovers for a ‘lock in’ watching Froch v Groves boxing (during military coup). Been in there many times since.

HI! I go to Zappa Bar on Soi Buakaw, across from Action Street. It is small but very good food and laughter there. And it is Danish which suits me well as a Dane.

Trev as you well know Pattaya is a 24/7 non stop hub of action in Thailand...but I'm sure there are a lot a guys like me who after about 10 days of partying like David Lee Roth in the 80's I can extremely bored...You should do a video on how to break the boredom of Expats living in Pattaya....there only so many pints you can drink and girls you can consume 555

Dean(witherspoons) is a great guy----not very talkative though. He used to be at the now closed Retox sports bar(soi honey) and worked his tail off to find me an american football game. Trevor, if you get a chance-----try the Panang chicken at Hemingways sports bar(replaced Retox). It is outstanding!!!!! You ALWAYS do an excellent job Trev--Thank you!!!!!!

The Nest is good as well plenty of tv's and air con, also being a guest house they will play the late games, just pay for your beer up front so no tills are in

The Time bar is the only one of the five I've been to, but I'll definitely pay a visit to Danny's bar the next time I come to Pattaya as it looks very inviting. Flights from Helsinki to Bangkok will probably take about 13 hours now that Finnair avoids Russian airspace, but if all I need to be allowed to enter Thailand is a vaccination certificate, I'll come in January.

Trev mentioned this to you ages ago when the bars were shut what about a vlog re the best expat bars places were the expats meet drink & chat on a regular basis clearly the Buzzing Bar would fit into this category as well.

I prefer the Witherspoon's for watching the Premier League, as it quite big and well spaced out tables, giving plenty of room to celebrate your team's goal! There is another sport's bar in Tree Town near the Buzzin bar. But I've not been there. Will be back in November to watch the World Cup in Pattaya. The sport's bars will be busy then! Been to watch World Cups and Euro's in Pattaya before. Normally a great atmosphere!

The Buzz in here in the PNW Seattle area is a stake house. Kind of a home town type of place. Known for inexpensive food, huge portions and breakfasts.

The Nest. !! They will put on American sports for you and open early in the morning to watch a specific game they are doing that now for the NBA playoff games I go there now early in the morning sometimes they open at 6 AM just to turn on American sports so if you’re an American sports fan this is the place to go..

I've always liked the Robin Hood Bar, but it was formerly called something else? Seems like the current owner has kept the high standard up. Funny story, one trip I tracked down a Kiwi Bar off 2nd road, to see if they were playing the upcoming NZ verses Aussie Test. The Bar staff didn't have a clue and said whats Rugby? ended up watching it in an Irish Bar on Walking Street. lol.
I think the bar you are referring to May well be called the Walkabout
