Heard this in Chicago a few days ago and I was stunned. Absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately many at the concert were only familiar with his work for Studio Ghibli and had never been exposed to minimal music, so I heard very ignorant comments during the intermission. As someone who has been deeply impacted by minimal music, I believe this is one of the all-time works.
I was there too and was mesmerized. Glad I missed those comments!

Asian SymphonyのAbsolutionを聴いた時に似たような感慨を
持ちました。
あのアルバムは音質が良すぎて笑いが止まりませんでしたね。
なんていいアルバムを買ったのかと。
