if you place an older model right next to the newer ones, you instantly notice how outdated the old grill is. It's a good transition, people just hate change.

I heard from Alex on Autos that the models without power seats are pre-production, and all of these models will have power seats eventually. Also, he said that AWD on the M430i and RWD on the M440i are coming next year.
It's a aggressively cool styled car. The grille looks okay, not hideous. I do prefer the BMW models with smaller grilles than this one model but it's still okay to look at and this car was made for the grille.

Nice video, I really like the looks of this car! After driving the M340i xDrive , I was all in. The performance, that motor and sound , reminded me of the cars that were so much fun to own and drive every day. Outside of the full “M” cars, there hasn’t been a new model that I lusted after until now. The M340i is a great car, I just prefer the size and practicality and styling of the Gran Coupe with that same flat 6!
Lol they separate the 3 series and 4 series making the 4 series a coupe of the 3 series. But, then decided to make it back to a sedan lol! Next, will the 3 series become an option to be a convertible/coupe??
Audi S5 sportback is better looking, and even though that interior is a little aged it still looks better and is more high quality. It’s due for a new interior in the 2023 model. Probably will look like the new 2022 S3 interior, except will have more leather and alcantara on the doors.
According to BMW's press release, for spring 2022 they've redesigned the front clip of the M3/4 to attract buyers. They'll take pre-orders starting Dec 11
Great style, beauty, tech, performance however the real question is: How long will the car run for? How long will all these features last before they malfunction? This car has power but at what cost? Will it be one of those engines that catch fire or built from plastic? Please bring back the “ real” BMW from yesteryear
B58 has been proven to be a reliable platform. Multiple examples of 2016 340i’s hitting 180k miles with only a few repairs necessary for the lifetime of the car. I️’d imagine with the revisions in the M440i application it’ll be just as stout or more. I️ did however opt for the 7 year 100k mile warranty on my 2018 340i, but only because I️ was getting a good deal.
The new engine has proven to be extremely reliable and holds up mighty well. Some of the most reliable bmw engines in recent years. And it’s Combined with the ZF8 speed, one of the strongest, most reliable, and best performing transmissions in the world, used by several different car companies specifically for that reason.
As a Former M3 owner, I don't like the black rear quarter panels. What are they supposed to represent??? Why? As for the front grill; I'd like to see how it looks with a Big Fat Rectangular American License Plate (BFALP) on it. In the US we can't use Euro slim wide plates. I'm a NO on this.
I was a closet grill liker from day one, but now I feel like I can openly proclaim my fondness of the Beaver Teeth!🤪 My wife fell in love with the new 440 Grand Sport… a week after I bought her a new Acura RDX… which sh dosent like! Looks like I’ll be losing money on another car in order to get her the BMW! 😫

I’m not sure if it’s a combination of the color and the styling but to me at first glance, this car looks like it’d be a new Honda Accord style. Not from the front obviously but from the back and sides, just screams Honda to me.
I must say those grilles are growing on me. They give the car a more "muscle car" look when you see it in real life. In the black colour the grilles are not as obvious especially with the gloss black pack and will appeal to people like me who like "muscle cars".
Hello Sofyan, and best wishes to all your viewers. I will like to suggest not using the wide angle lenses all through your videos, because they tend to round the edges of objects and distort the shapes of the cars reviewed and even altered your own image. It's OK for a "panoramic" view of the interior, but not for an exterior walk around. Try the same shoot with wide angle and not wide angle lenses, and you'll see the difference, because everyone of us who watched your "old" videos, noticed it. Thank you and keep up the fine work.
Love your commentary but the editing of these videos is getting ridiculous, the color filtering on each video makes everything a blue tint...gray car looks light blue.. everything is darkened, sharpness is higher than it should. You guys will do us viewers a big favor by just keeping the colors natural. Thank you

I know you do stand alone reviews but I would love to see a comparison review between this and the I4 M50. I own a 430I convertible. If you order the extended shadowline trim, it blacks out the front grille and makes it more agreeable.
The small sunroof is a deal breaker. You can literally get a pano sunroof on a Camry 🙄. Bmw missed an opportunity by blacking out the roof and adding more interior light with a pano sunroof
By the time I found out about the 3 Series Station wagons they wore no longer available in Canada :( , still available in Europe (was born there - first car was a station wagon). Later then miss the opportunity to buy a manual AWD VW Golf 2019 new station wagon in late 2020 - now that is discontinued. I can't find a reliable powertrain in a station wagon body style ... crossover and SUV rule the market.

Yeah those big gloss black pieces on the corners of the rear bumper really cheapen the look of the car to me. The front end still looks terrible to my eyes. Interior is just okay, kind of bland compared to the outside. This whole car is an easy thumbs down for me ultimately.
Took a 400 mile road trip and averaged 38 mpg. While my X5 M50i averaged 23 mpg. My dad drove our 22 M440i and turned into speed racer at 70 years old 😂
People don’t realize this isn’t a regular mid 300hp car with just a tune and down pipe this b58 Supra engine will gain over 100hp it’s no joke of a car

The manual seats are not because it's pre-production. BMW is actually shipping customer cars with manual seats due to the chip shortage.

If all I needed was a hot hatch, this is the one I would get. The grill is rocking the retro look. Very creative, IMO
I just read today on Jalopnik that BMW is shipping some vehicles without full features because of the chip crisis. One such feature is power seats.

I have a 2017 440i gran coupe. Has been tuned with a downpipe for 62,000 miles and never had issue. Same powertrain more or less.

From what I’m hearing, the i4 M50 will be cheaper but much faster at 500+hp
