  • Total cost of material was right at $250. This area was 240sq' of surface area so you can say it costs about $1 per sq' in materials

Great video!! I would suggest getting a taller ladder seeing you lean off the ladder reminds me of a year ago on only a 4 foot ladder when I needed a 6 footer. I landed on carpet and broke my shoulder and tore my rotator cuff. Also look at the craftsman type multi-cut cutters on e-bay for $30 uses leverage to easily snip right through that plastic. Also check out on the screen tight video of the inside extruded aluminum rail system that is best for high or second story decks where you don't need a ladder. I learned a lot from this thanks for posting!!!

I really enjoyed your video. Great job. I've only done one of these this year. Dogs tear the hell out of them so you'll probably get some repeat business. A lot of handymen charge $3 - $5 a square foot, including materials. I tend to go by knowledgeable estimated time and trouble, and have the customer pay for the materials.

Pruning shears worked great for me when cutting the base and base cap. Looks great!

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. The hack saw worked really well too. I got lucky on the measurements. The vertical track didn't need to be cut!

Looks like your still doing your thing big dog. Also congrats on the service truck. I wasn't a big fan of Ford back in the day but I know every year on there trucks and Mustangs there built better and better. With routine maintenance you'll get well over 300,000 miles out of that motor. Nice job

I do window and porch screens and i always recommend my clients to stay away from that screen install method. Screens get very loose and floppy over time with that screen tight stuff.. if you get direct sun the caps end up bowing, overall not a great install method. He did it right but the materials are a no no.

Wow, how much screening and spline did you use? I have a 10 x 30 covered porch that is currently open on the 2 10 ft and the 30 ft sides. I wondered how much material I needed to get.

I guess it all depends. This was for an older couple with no pets. Kids and pets are hard on screening so the extra support may be helpful in that situation

What a horrible presentation. The majority of this is on fast-forward, without narration. So you don't hear him explain what he's doing ashe does it.
What's the point of having an instructional video if the doesn't tell us how and what HE'S DOING! AWFUL
