    This exercise feels really nice! I use a strap from a Resistance Band set which works well then after the stretched I hold my neck in place with a cheap neck support from the chemist to help keep it supported and warm for 30mins.
    Ive had military neck for at least 15yrs because I was always curious why I had a bump in my upper neck at the back. Looking at x-ray pics just online (not mine) it looks exactly (and feels) like C2 vertebrae sticks out more and I feel it slot back in quite noticeably when I do these exercises plus I'll massage the back of my neck with my hands to help it move and stay there. I have high hopes for this exercise, thank you so much for sharing. Im in my first week of doing this and Im very excited.

    Thanks for the helpful video! I have just been diagnosed with loss of cervical lordosis. For almost two years I have had symptoms such as stabbing pressure in my temples and on the top sides of my head. Unfortunately, I didn't correct my habits back then because these symptoms were associated by the doctors with sinus conditions and a deviated nasal septum. After septum surgery, symptoms persisted. A month ago, I experienced paresthesia in my hands and feet when I moved my head & I have this condition till this day. When I hold my head in the correct position, all symptoms disappear.
    My question is: is it safe to exercise the neck with weights (with neck head harness) when I have loss of cervical lordosis? When I did these exercises (stopped 3 months ago), I always felt a lot of relief in the neck muscles, but I am not sure whether I will damage something or advance the straightening of the cervical spine. I only have loss of neck lordosis, I do not have any disc herniation.

    • @drjonsaunders
      @drjonsaunders  10 месяцев назад +1

      It should be ok if you are doing it properly and not using too heavy of weights...also best to consult with a corrective chiropractor however when trying to restore a cervical lordosis.

I've been to a lot of doctors but couldn't get a solution. Please tell me will fixing the neck curve fix the problem? Can I start by stretching and strengthening the suboccipital muscles and then move on to neck curve exercises or what? Please help, I've been suffering for 8 months.

I'm studying dentistry and I'm really worried. Some people say orthodontists don't bend their neck as much but still. I tried physical therapy and the pain went away for a couple of months but came back again. I feel pain in a tiny spot of my neck and all of the fingers of my right hand and my shoulders are kind of stiff. Should i quit dental school? Sometimes i wish i had chosen med school.
