Love this video, although some caution on the logistic regression part. If there's co-linearity (as there usually is) between all those factors, the 100% increase that is attributed to P alone becomes less reliable (could be higher, could be lower).

Hi Doc , is letrozole should be taken every day with 3 month suppression? What dosage?

Hello Dr. Victory. Thank you for sharing this amazing video. My clinic says the progesterone should be above 33 nmols/L. I have a transfer coming. I am doing daily PIO shots. After 5 days pf PIO and vaginal progesterone I gave my blood sample
this morning before taking the PIO and it was 54nmols/L. I believe if I would have give the blood sample after taking PIO the result would have been a little more. So
Do you think I should still increase my dosage ?
Can more progesterone cause implantation issues ?

Thanks for sharing this study! How do these levels of progesterone translate to dosing? What dose of vaginal progesterone and PIO would you need to achieve these levels? And what about if you do the lupron depot/letrozole protocol for endo? Would you still increase progesterone? Thanks Dr V!

I also wonder can this correlate to a natural cycle

We use 1mg pio and then the vaginal dose varies based on formulation. Then we measure at three days and dose up or down as needed.

Ive been on lupron and orilissa. Now this doctor wants to try progesterone. Im habing oain during ovulation. After orgasm i have cramps, its fleeting but still inrense and ruins the motivation and mood. I have horroble mesrrual pain. I want to conceive. Ive had 4 miscarriages. The progesterone angle is new..seems beeter than the other options im offered at this time..ibe had incredibly vad periods long and painful. Debilitating. But only on the fourh miscarriage did they look for ectopic pregnancy and found endometriosis. It was a relief to have an explanation after 15 years of extreme pain..bht its been almost ten years even with this diagnosis and barely any help. Im praying this helps. And thst i can vet pregnant at this age. Ive had a doctor tell me "i birth babie, i dont do endo"

I’m from the US but received treatment in UK & Spain- do you know why they don’t give PIO here? No doctor here has given me a decent answer.

They don’t believe in it. Because it’s painful.

And about Duphaston treatment, I have been seeing some studies with it. Have you heard about it too? Tks! :-)

I have stage 4 endo with one tube and ovary left. While saving for IVF we fell pregnant naturally. I’m now 6+4 weeks. I tested my own progesterone (can order certain tests on your own where I am) and it was 8.3 at about 5 weeks. My doc said she wasn’t concerned at all and that there’s no good research that shows that progesterone will lower miscarriage. I’m so frustrated as I’ve had a miscarriage at 10 weeks in 2019. Maybe it’s time to find another doctor as I wish she’d just try. Why do I see so many women on progesterone supplementation if it doesn’t work?

The problem is that the studies on progesterone for miscarriage prevention all involved starting the progesterone well into the pregnancy. IMO that’s useless. So the data is lacking. But in the fertility world there it’s common.

Why does the body become resistant to Progesterone ? Has someone found an explanation to it? I am supplementing with Utrogestan 200mg (bio identical micronized progesterone) but so far I haven’t noticed my endo symptoms getting better… I recently started so hopefully it’s a matter of time. Have no clue how to reverse progesterone resistance. Also most doctors don’t believe in P resistance and refute it if you bring it up. What to do? :(
