Played Solatorobo some time ago. Don't get me wrong, I instantly fell in love with the characters, it's very graphically impressive for a DS game, and it's got A LOT of content... But it gets repetitive. All you do is grab stuff and throw it. Sometimes you get to shoot stuff or fly, but very rarely. It's a solid foundation for a game that can definitely be improved upon.

Not necessarily my favorite, but I love that Square-Enix remade and released games like the Dragon Quest/Final Fantasy series on the Nintendo DS. In my eyes, those games, along with Contra 4, Metal Slug ganes, Mario Kart DS, and several other games, have given additional value one of my all-time favorite dedicated handheld systems.
This video popped up on my recommendations, and I have to say thank you for including "Fossil Fighters" on the list. It's one of my favorite DS games, and definitely a series that's severely underrated. Having played the newest one on 3DS, makes me hope for a new one on the Switch! I'd love to get my nephew even more into dinosaurs this way. :)

I would say pokemon mystery dungeon is pretty well known as it was a series even before the DS. However, pokemon conquest is one of my favorite games EVER and is severely underated. I suggest everyone give it a try! It's very fun an a completely different take on classic pokemon.
Runter Ranger that surprises me as mystery dungeon was basically my Pokémon childhood and way more interesting to me in story(I love explorer of sky’s)

I'm glad that I was able to buy my copy at a local GameStop back in 2011, which I decided to purchase after hearing all about it in an issue of Nintendo Power before the game was released, and it even came bundled with a CD soundtrack containing music from the game.

I enjoyed the video! Loving the representation from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and Fossil Fighters. To anyone reading this there are two more games that I believe are underrated and would recommend myself. 1: Drawn to Life. If you want a surprisingly impactful story and simple gameplay, this is the game for you. 2: The Legendary Starfy. It’s a simple marine platformer game. I just like it, if you have an extra 15$, go to GameStop and pick up a copy
"Drawn To Life" is definitely one of my favorite games to play on the Nintendo DS, and I'll admit that the ending actually made me cry after completing the game myself.
You need to add a sidenote that solatorobo is a dsi exclusive. The game needed the extra processing power that the dsi version offered at the time. Although it was playable via a hack in normal ds.
And here I thought solatorobo was forgotten. Glad it isn't, still hoping one day the sequel comes for it...hell, with that intro I'm even holding out for a animated series.

Another Code is Trace Memory in the US.. Fossil Fighter is a good game especially when you are cleaning the fossils using the stylus on the touch screen, this is one of the best DS games I enjoyed a lot the other one will be Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow..

Most of the games on this list aren't that underrated or have a reason for that(Disgaea ds is disliked because it's worse than the other versions,most people don't like tingle,fossil fighters being treated as a pokeclone) or being psrt of already existing IPs(Wario and Peach are part of Mario,Tingle is from Zelda,the pokemon mystery dungeon games are spin-offs of mystery dungeon which is SEVERELY underrated)if what you want are the REALLY underrated games you have to play:
*Lost magic:a real time strategy rpg which is CRIMINALLY underrated(good luck finding another person who has even heard of this game)the game's pretty good though,the rune system's the best part of the entire game
*Avalon Code:Action Rpg,Really good game,you attack using both The L & R buttons,so if those buttons don't work on your DS then just ignore it
