I completely disagree about feel. Feel is a top 10 for me genuinely. It has so much passion and emotion in it on how people “love him” but many people deep down don’t actually care about him. It’s about how fame has made people fake towards him.
I’m more on the soulful side of Kendrick. I love Complexion, Hol up, Mama, These Walls, For Sale, and She Needs Me (part of a mixtape). I was a huge supporter back when he was still underground, dating back to 2009 so it is awesome to see Kdot shine the way he has.
I 100 % agree. For sale makes me fly away, musically some of the tracks he mentions as lower are def higher. But that is Kendricks strength. Nothing is bad, everyone has different preferences

@@loganohare3453 Whoa now. U walking in some dangerous territory right there open your mind a lil. "Not Good" to your standards with things like this this there is no definitive right answer to these things. (it is an opinion after all). Subjectiveness. We all see things different my favorite Kendrick song might differ from yours for various reasons. Reasons u might have never fathomed. Reasons that could help u look at the song in a new light and angle from a new perspective that could change your mind. When u say it's "not good" and leave it at that u close off the possibility of learning or seeing something different in order to form a better conclusion and understand not only the person behind the list but the song in the way it was meant to be understood. Who am I to say that his list is bad when is his opinion and his reasons for liking a song more than another could be deeper than I even know. My favorite K. Dot songs is Feel, the Recipe, and poe man's dreams because in the way they resonate with me. In the way they stop me from taking my life hundreds of times. I don't like "momma" at all. I would rather listen to Tammy's song, ailen girl, real etc .... My point is it all subjective just cuz I don't like the list doesn't make it a "bad" list when u think like that u start to close off the possibility of learning more about the person and the song and won't be able to receive the full impact and message of what the song really means. Open your mind. Next time when something subjective like this comes up don't say it's "bad" or "not good" just let it be know u don't agree and if u wanna go deeper give some reason why u don't.

And also listening to the phrase "so i was taking a walk the other day" at the end of the album it's just magic, and that magic happens only because BLOOD exists. Really think you should reconsider listening to it more it'S fantastic

I actually really like the sound of Tammys song, I dont think any other rapper would be able to pull off something that good to a backing track of purely arps and sweeps. Really dark sound too that ends with that maniacal laughter at the twist of his own story. Idk really cool track imo, not one of his best but for sure not the worst
Figure it's a testament to how good Kendrick's catalogue really is, sure he's overexaggerating for the content of the video to be entertaining, but overall Lamar's discography is really enjoyable all over the board, y'know?

Most of Kendrick's songs are really hard to rank because they're all really good. Real isn't THAT good though.
@@katiouss Real hits so much for me. Personally, after hearing the end of swimming pools where Kendrick's friend dies followed by SAMIDOT starting gave me chills, but I was still processing the whole thing during the song. In Real, Kendrick recieves a call from his dad. That call gives me chills. Because before that you only hear Kendrick's father "tripping about them domino's", and then in Real he calls Kendrick saying:
"Kenny, I ain't trippin' off them dominoes anymore
Just calling, sorry to hear what happened to your homeboy
But don't learn the hard way like I did, homie
