What I thought while watching is that it would be easier to see if the video was I landscape and not portrait, as I'm watching on the phone it's sometimes hard to see the details.
It would also be nice if you listed all the tools that you used while doing this! 😁

Thank you! Great feedback, I shot the video on my mobile hence the portrait but future videos will endeavour to be landscape.

I usually did this with VCDS, then unplug and use the bignasty pliers (sometimes big nasty flathead) and push it in, sometimes I did it manually on the passat's by doing the pedal, switch, switch procedure, and then using the pliers or flathead to push it back in, It's been pretty rare that I used the specific rewind tool for it. (including Benz, Hyundai/Kia). Suppose I've installed those pads wrong for years! :) (Then again, I was a Benz / Ford and Peugeot/Ford Diesel specialist)
