Family of four who flies 1-2 times a year normally, the altitude reserve is great. We don’t need more than 8 visits and the 4.5x for travel mobile wallet spend is awesome
@@KevinYang sure did!! I ran a lot of numbers and using the AR and chase trifecta together brings us more value annually. That being said, I’ve debated getting the venture X for one of us anyways since I can make it basically free annually.
@@Rhaegar7504hi! I recently got into the points game, how did you come to this determination? I currently have only chase cards for UR. How did you come to the conclusion that chase + Us bank was the best combo ?
Love this video Kevin! If you travel frequently, airport lounge access is super key- not only can you get a relaxing place to get some work done, but especially at some, nice international lounge locations, you can get some amazing food & drinks, etc. I just got the Venture X, so looking forward to checking out Cap One Lounges in the future, and hoping to pick up the Amex Plat toward the end of the year.
Definitely! I will say lounges internationally seem to have a higher bar than the ones locally.. but also haven't actually travelled much domestically apart from the big few cities! And congrats on the Venture X, it's an amazing card that gets consistent use for the 2x miles!
What is the best lounge at LAX? I have the admirals club access with AA executive and I don’t think this card is worth it if you travel internationally bc it seems won’t give you access to one world partners lounges
I have priority pass but can never use it. Denver, nope SFO, nope, Redmond, nope, SLC, nope. TYO airports, nope. Either not in my terminal, too many people and not in a paid tier, or unavailable.
Hmm, on the Chase Sapphire Lounge website, it still says "If you don't have one of these Chase-issued credit cards but you have a Priority Pass membership, you receive one complimentary visit to a Sapphire Lounge by The Club per calendar year"
Question for you: What's your go-to lounge credit card? How often do you visit a lounge per year? 👇

@@Rhaegar7504 Those perks make the card such a powerhouse for sure! That said, have you looked into the Venture X?

How so you use airport VIP lounge? I just got the US bank Altitude Connect card and wondering how to use the Priority Pass VIP lounge.

That's a hard one.. I've only been to 1 lounge in LAX and that's the United Polaris one which was great!
Lounge access benefits are only for the first year.
I've heard that some Venture X holders are being denied at some lounges, has anyone experienced or heard the same?
Personally have not yet, apart from times where the lounge is full and they aren't allowing Priority Pass members in general

Yeah priority pass lounges are always a hit or miss!
Hello. Does the Venture X exchange points with Aerocard?
CHASE SAPPHIRE is not valid anymore at Priority pass since FEB 2024

No
Just seems like too much work for this 63 yo.
It could be a good idea to go for one and stick with it!
