🥃. One small oversight to note is that the CSR offers the full PP experience versus just lounges, so you get access to some restaurants such as the ones in PDX, minute suites, be relax spas, and other options in the event the lounges are full or too out of the way.
Well as a counter and data point. The 8 priority pass uses (on the US Bank Altitude Reserve anyway) do work on the “pass out” model. So you can bring a guest. Their priority pass on their card also gets access to the same lounges and restrooms as Chase (minus the Sapphire lounges). So though limited in number but you do get at least get the full PP experience with US Bank as well 😉😅
Hi Sebby! We need a video on why we should keep the Delta Reserve. I have status through 2025. With no rollover on benefits, why would we use this card in 2024 (let alone keep it at the current annual fee)?
Lets go Sebb!!🥃 I love my CSR. Every year I come up with a reason to downgrade it but somehow always finds a way back to my line up. Im excited to see their new Sapphire lounges! Other than that, not interested in any "regular" lounges. Once you experience AA flagship lounge in JFK, you can't go back!
Which card offers unlimited priority pass lounge access to myself and unlimited guests and I can add a person to my card and that person also can get these benefits? My friend and I are going on a trip within a week of each other and I want to same sure he can get lounge acesss as well
Asking the community: Would a Sapphire Lounge at LHR T5 move the needle for anybody? I fly BA because of the Chase Card and would really value this. To me international lounges that complement their partners (United, BA, etc) would really help them compete with Amex. Centurion lounge at T3 is great if you are flying Delta, but if you are flying BA economy the only options are two meh over crowded PP lounges. Does anybody know if you fly Virgin metal on a Delta code-share do you still get Centurion lounge access at LHR??
🥃I got the VX in the hopes of using the lounge access perks in the future. As of now, I have never visited an airport lounge, even though I've traveled quite a bit in my life! I'm sure it'll pay off in Asia, but as my home airports are ORD and IND, I don't think I'll get much use out of this perk until I get abroad next summer.
@@ProfessorWambsgansI don’t foresee one from any of the major issuers anytime soon. If you’re flying out of O’Hare, the United Club or AAdvantage Executive would be your best bets. Their lounges can get crowded easily, but I’d say less so than for Priority Pass lounges.
Hi Sebby. Awesome Videos. One Question I’m thinking about getting the Chase Sapphire Reserve CC. I’m flying out from SFO and would I be able to double dip and use the Restaurant and Lounge before I fly out? Thanks!
Sebby, which restaurant in SFO you recommended since I’m flying out Internationally since I have a long flight to Narita then on to Guangzhou? Also have you been to the China Lounge?
capital one is the same price, and if not you can book the flight and call capital one and they will price match. they did this for me and refunded the difference
I love my C1 VX, because it has more benefits than just lounges. With its >=2x miles for everything, its Hertz PC status, and my ability to use the $300 travel credit and still receive my CDP discounts and PC status, it's pretty great. I wish they hadn't dropped the extra PP benefits, keeping only the lounge access, but that's okay. There are only a few airport restaurants in the PP program, and the only one I've flown through in the past decade is Houston. Once. I remind myself of that whenever I drool over CSR's PP restaurant access. I also really like my Amex Platinum's Centurion, Skyclub, and PP access, but that was covered in your first video. 😊
No need to enroll. However, most Plaza Premium Lounges have recently rejoined Priority Pass. For any Plaza Premium Lounges that aren’t part of PP, showing the Venture X or Amex Platinum cards is sufficient.
I'm still waiting to get under 5/24 and hopefully get approved for the chase marriot cards and then product change a year later to th Ritz Carlton card. Fingers crossed
As someone who on the whole would not consider Capital One at all, and because all of their credits are contingent upon using their portal, does said portal have competitive prices when compared with booking directly with the airline/hotel?
Yes, it's still good to compare. Booking via their portal usually gets extra benefits like free breakfast and property credits. Factor in the taxes + fees which are often hidden on the retail sites until the last step.
Hey Sebby, awesome video as always. Would you cover more on Venture X Business (probably your business channel) venture X business allows unlimited priority passes as well. It may not on their term and conditions but I was able to secure a few of priority pass with full access of restaurant entitlement on each priority pass card (different name on the priority card) one for the primary cardholder and one for Venture X business card for account manager. And, other two priority pass without AU employee cards.
Denver is slated to get a Polaris Lounge. In my experience, United Clubs can still be crowded depending on time of day and whether you’re flying through a hub airport. However, they’re still better and less crowded than Priority Pass lounges.
I think value is pretty personal and subjective. I have the VentureX, the Sapphire Reserve, the United Club, and of course the Amex Platinum. I fly United quite a bit, and use United lounges, so I get value there. I also use Priority Pass restaurant access from my CSR whenever I can...usually get about $200 a year value from it. Oh, I have the Delta Reserve too... you know, I think I may actually have a problem. 🤔 Lol
@Augustin54 Honestly, the one I personally get the least value from is the Amex Platinum. I just don't use all the credits. The VentureX is new, so we will see. I do indeed get value (what I value) from the CSR and the United Club cards. I plan on downgrading the Delta Reserve... not getting as much there at this point, as I have been flying United a lot more than Delta.

Lounges in Asia are much better than U.S. ones.
Will one of the main players (amex, chase, C1) ever build a lounge in Chicago? That would influence my next card application for sure.

For the CSR card, can I use the $300 travel credit towards my plane ticket or not?
Question - Can you bring guest into the Chase Lounge if you have eone Sapphire Reserve card? 🥃
Do venture x card members have to enroll for plaza premium lounges like we do for priority pass lounges
No need to enroll. However, most Plaza Premium Lounges have recently rejoined Priority Pass. For any Plaza Premium Lounges that aren’t part of PP, showing the Venture X or Amex Platinum cards is sufficient.
🥃 ritz Carlton chase card is another great option for lounge access
🥃 Ritz Carlton Rewards is my favorite priority pass card (missing in this vid, but not unexpectedly)
and in Brazil we have cards with less than $350 annual fee with Priority Pass, Lounge Key and Dragon pass
I think I'm going to get the VX in 2024. 🥃
My favorite is the Ritz Carlton Card 😁
I'm still waiting to get under 5/24 and hopefully get approved for the chase marriot cards and then product change a year later to th Ritz Carlton card. Fingers crossed
@@tdo2952 it's a long process but the card is so good
I got the Bonvoy Boundless last month and am counting down to the end of the first year. After that, I plan to product change to the Ritz Carlton.

🥃 new to the lounge scene, but I appreciate the CSR PP access. As a DCA flyer, though, I wish that airport had more lounges

R those the Rounders Replica Chips?
Yes :)
🥃 I don't have any of those and might plan for the CSR this year. All my destinations have Centurion or SC and I'm set with those cards
BoA Premium Rewards Elite's PP includes restaurants [Like Chase]
Great video,
An Oasis with long lines 😅
Appreciate you!
I was using priority pass from hilton aspire so i would need to get the venture x priority pass soon.
🥃Are those poker chips replicas of Teddy KGB's chips from Rounders?
Yes :)
Yo Sebby I really got a question bro I’ll pay you for a answer ?
🥃Are we ignoring priority pass restaurants?
Chase RC for me, same lounge access as CSR with Bonvoy Gold status
Does it give PP restaurants as well?
Ritz Carlton card's PP includes restaurant access as well.
DC has the CapitalOne Arena for the Washington Wizards. Great deals with the card.
Good to know!
🥃 Bowmore 12!
The new DEN UCs are head and shoulders better than the best Priority Pass lounges in the US.
Nice! Probably less crowded as well.
@AskSebby Definitely less crowded. I feel like they made the DEN UCs so nice due to the lack of a Polaris lounge there.
Denver is slated to get a Polaris Lounge.
In my experience, United Clubs can still be crowded depending on time of day and whether you’re flying through a hub airport. However, they’re still better and less crowded than Priority Pass lounges.
@VincentPascual last I heard they hadn't even started construction. I'll see for myself on Friday. Optimistically it'll open late in 2025.
