I’ve googled steam application. The site I saw said it wasn’t approved for superheated applications.
Can it be used for steam or not, seeing as how you should know best?

Can I use the same tool to do copper fittings? Or is a totally different tool ?
What tool do you have? The compact press’s (Milwaukee and ridgid) can do up to 3/4 in Mega press and the regular full size press’s can do up to 2 inch mega press without the booster. You will need different jaws for your press tool though, copper and mega press jaws are not the same
Tanner gave a very good answer below! Depending on what size fittings you are pressing, will determine which tool you can use - a standard or compact. You will need different sets of jaws to press ProPress and MegaPress.
Is this for natural gas and LP piping?

They meant don't cut it at the wrong angle

@@Hyundairobitdog I’ve used it on 1 1/2” in the ground, at some apartments. My helper and I spent more time being fearful of it actually working than fixing the pinhole. It was a snap.

Rigid 1/2”-2” mega jaw kit can be had for as little as $3000.00 here in U.S. and maybe a little less (retail). I just got 3 quotes on the kit today.
