The standard press tool costs around 3500. The long throw cost around 4000. Plus, 1/2 to 2 inch rings are 2800. 2-1/2 to 4 inch rings are another 2800. So plan on spending over 13 grand to do 1/2 to 4 inch. Ridgids rp340 cost around 3000. Mega press rings from 1/2 to 2 inch are 2300. And the press booster with the rings for 2-1/2 to 4 inch is 4100. Total 9400. Hummm.... Milwaukee you have to but another 4000 dollar tool just to press the bigger rings. Milwaukee press tool must be straight to the ring where ridgids can swivel almost 180 degrees getting in places a little easier. Oooooo but Milwaukee you can do it in 1 cycle instead of 2 saving a whopping 5 seconds. Either your time is worth $1000 a second or people like pissing money away. Do the math don't make sense

What do you mean when you say it can be set up as a short throw press tool aswell?
How much you bench?
Do you need the long throw for less the 2 inch or can the standard press 1/2 - 2
The long throw is for 2.5" - 4", the standard M18 will handle .5-2"

@@easternpropane6180 your math is wrong. Long throw can handle from .5” to 4”, so you looking around $9600
