- The Olympic Games were held in the town of Sochi in 2014, which became very popular after that since they built there the best ski resort in Russia. In the new video I want to show you how Sochi looks like after the Olympics in 2022 🤩
For one week I lived in the Caucasus Mountains of the Sochi region at the Krasnaya Polyana resort. This place is no worse than any resorts in the Alpine Mountains! The nature there is simply unique and breathtaking - I definately advise you to travel there during your trip to Russia ❤
I especially advise you to visit Sochi in winter as you can try skiing or snowboarding at such ski resorts as Ruza Khutor 🥶I am sure that this is the best destination for traveling in Russia in winter!

That fridge full of vodka impressed me 😉 While in Russia, I never opened any fridge in a restaurant, but next time I will do that too 😜
Look for ice grips that go on shoes / boots, make of tough rubber like material with cleats like on snow-machine tracks.
You can run on ice with them. Enjoyed your trip, thanks for sharing. Looking good in all of your outfits too.
If I tried snow boards or skis a reservation for the hospital would be necessary. Take care, stay warm and make your own fun.

Я рад увидеть тебя снова! Great video as always Dari. Sochi looks great in winter too, nature, snow and the beach side, Olympic Park, so much to do. When you mentioned Karlovy Vary I remembered my day trip to that cozy town from Prague some 20 years ago, that part of Sochi looks like it from what I have seen in that short video bit, and your time in front of the notebook was reminiscent of my life from that period. I did that a lot, working in vacation rental homes and hotels as I was running travel websites as a business.

A honest review,if you like skiing/snowboarding a great place to visit with gorgeous scenery,personally I'd stay in the hot pool for the week,the 🍄 food in the 🍄 mountain looked almost vegan,hope your neck is better now.

Sochi is a dream destination and I'll be sure it is snowing or has lots of new snow for easier snowboarding and softer falls. The atmosphere of surrounding mountains is spectacular!

Just because of the olympics, I assumed Sochi was only a winter destination, but numerous videos around this area have certainly changed my view, seems I could find a lot to do in any season.
Awh I see the pain in your eyes after hurt your head in the fall. Great move on getting the massage straight away. I had this similar thing mine last years. The trip looked fun with your friend. It was cool to see the sites from the olympic attractions.
You know what I also find interesting buried in most of your videos. An important thing. Cuisine. I think people might be scared to try food they are not accustomed to when in most cases it would be delicious. Learning more about Russian foods may be fun

If only my government and the Russian government were more friendly towards each other, then it would be easier to get a visa and actually visit this interesting country. One day I hope some sense prevails, but in the meantime, I will continue enjoying these vlogs!

Snowboarding and drifting (you filmed a small part of the Sochi winter drift challenge) is a combination that would suit me quite well at least. Also, I hope you continue to learn snowboarding as it gets more and more fun the more time you spend on the board and progress your learning :))
Its like the Swiss Alps without the price tag and people can go to Sochi for serious winter activities. This video is Daria’s side of her collab with fellow Moscow YTber Sophie. Lots of things to see too, like the Olympic Park and the beach at Adler. Well done!

I didn't know that ski terrains around Sochi are so numerous and well-developed. You feel almost like being in the middle of Alps. Only cows with cattlebells and jodler music are missing!
Its really amazing how neatly Russian's decorate and make their main cities or tourist spots, so so beautiful and atmospheric. Sochi is no exception to this, as i can see from this video. Again great editing. Have you tried using a GoPro for shooting scenes such as when you are snowboarding? I liked the Soviet cafe, would have been fun if they had servers who looked like Lenin. Keep up the good work.

Wow Sochi is beautiful. It gives me European vibes with a bit of Japanese. Very modern looking and classy. I'm a little sad there isn't more overtly Russian architecture like the big colorful towers.

Cannot find Pelmeni in Germany conveniently. Found it once in a non-Russian supermarket, then never again.(I know there are Russian supermarket but it is too far away from city center.

The hotel you linked is not the hotel you stayed in? It is not listed on Krasnaya Polyana official website. You found this hotel afterwards? How much was it for a week where you stayed? It is cheaper in a summer?
