Excellent review, thank you. I was salivating over this Fiat, but after your review, with my 6-3 height and long legs, yes, I will look at it one day, but at least I can stop holding my breath. :)

How’s the reliability? Only thing holding me back, being an FCA vehicle...

Michael Mallen My 2017 has been great. The infotainment is a real weak point. Sometimes it won’t talk to my phone. But that isn’t a Fiat issue

124 Lusso Every Factory Option, Stick.. Funnest car I've EVER owned....Many V8 muscle cars in my life... Selling my Mustang GT now... Just hit 1200 miles.... I wouldn't trade this car for Anything......

I’m starting to think the Canadian version of this car is better than what you got dude cause I love the sound system in this car it rocks and I’ve had a lot of cars in my 62 years

I’ve got a full size box of Kleenex, my insurance and a whole bunch of that stuff in between the seats in that storage box. It’s actually pretty big.

I’ve had my Fiat 124 Abarth for 3 years and I love driving it. This review captures the good and the bad accurately. The manual transmission is fantastic. I would recommend getting an after market exhaust to enhance the sound, because the engine is dynamite! Honestly, the Mazda or after market exhaust sound awful compared to the Fiat. The Fiat engine has been reliable for me. Any minor issues I’ve had (stereo or seat belts) isn’t a Fiat issue.

I bought the Classica 3 weeks ago and it's a lot of fun to drive. The seats are not comfortable, they are narrow on the bottom and back. The price was decent, $20,000 plus tax and license.

No, I weigh 180 pounds and I'm 5' 10", I don't think that's fat. The seat is made for a narrow ass unless you don't mind sitting on the edge.

Very critical review.....Got one. Love it but it's very noisy at highway speeds (70ish) with the top up. I'm not sure if its the stock tires or the design Both the Miata and Spider are pretty loud. The "glove box" is actually big enough unless you're a hoarder or a pack-rat. It'll hold my manual, some papers, maps, and my .380. I agree, the standard radio and speakers are lame but if you hook up your phone and run Spotify or some other music network on your Bluetooth, it's AWESOME! Also, there's storage BEHIND each seat. At 7,000 miles, it's still a blast to drive and still gets lots of good looks!

3 things you definitely don’t need in this car: infotainment, cup holders and auto gearbox. 👍🏼

car reviews are so subjective. It's like movie critics...what you like may not be what i like. I've watched so many reviews on this car and so many different opinions.

I totally agree xD I have seen a lot of reviews of this car and apart from 2/3 things they say which I agree the rest is always contradicting one review to another.
      It´s a great car and I love it :)

I bought the 2017 Abarth with manual transmission, fully loaded.
In Red great car , and 98 percent of the population doesn't know what it is.
One guy thought it was an Alfa Romeo

can someone clarify this to me: is this multiair really the same engine in the Abarth 500? Cause they never mention "multiair" on the Abarth site if i recall correctly... i'm not complaining, if it really is it's just one more reason to love the car even more :v

    • @ZareP1
      @ZareP1 3 года назад

also, abarth 500 not the same as abarth 595 i assume, we don't even have abarth 500 in Portugal (maybe USA only?)

You gave response and power both lower marks than most. Next time, go for the 6-speed stick straight-shift. I own a 124 Spider and BOTH those areas deserve an "outstanding"!

      TestDrivenTV, well done review.
I am about to buy this car. I am 6'-3" tall and 230. It actually fits me pretty well. *shrug*
I have owned 4 previous FIATs now, including a 500 Abarth - which I raced.
I am excited to pick my 124 Abarth up this week. :)

What is is with Americans and cup holders, and other fads and gadgets that get used less then 1% of the cars operational life, that they deem so necessary to the driving experience?

    • @jason122195

Dude. Cup holders aren't a fad. They've literally been around FOREVER and I use mine every day. Who drives to work without coffee? Communists probably....

Nah..... never buy a French or Italian car. Jeep made in Italy, what a joke, and to make things worse its stuck on a Fiat 500 chassis. OMG the only thing that's going to stop the death of "JEEP" is Fiat's money.
