      The pin is for power discharge. When some batteries have trouble charging it will discharge the capacitors so that its charge cycle can renew.

      hey, can the bluetooth version of this pair with a GPD XD+ (and if it's hard to do can u make a video? or avideo review of the Bluetooth ones? with instructions) this was on it's way to become my all out fave controller, just i can only get the 2.4g one to work. Bluetooth = useless for android as far as i can see

    I kinda wish the gamecube styled controller was Nintendo's definitive controller with more modernized touches for the switch and beyond. That being said, this one is way better than the power a variant.

    Anyone looking to buy this from Amazon; you will get the Bluetooth version and WILL NOT come with the dongle. I bought mine on Nov. 16th and received it on the 18th. The triggers have change and no longer are immediate clicks and have travel now. Still a decent controller and you save money compared to the Power A

    I really like the PowerA controller (and it does have motion control) but after using it for awhile I started to miss rumble on certain games. It does have what almost all other 3rd party controllers don't, the ability to wake the system from sleep. Can this controller wake the system? Either way I might give it a shot, seems like a solid options with a couple different pros than the PowerA.

    I would buy a wireless 2.4ghz controller over a bluetooth one any day. I decided that after many test and a consistent finding of lower latency with better performance. I've had $5 Snes clone 2.4ghz controllers that had better latency than some of the most expensive console game controller that implement the bluetooth as the connection method.

    Hey Mad, I found out more about the Mega drive mini. Here is a description of what the Deluxe version includes:
    Mega Drive Mini DX Pack
    From the recorded titles included in the Mega Drive mini, there will be a selected SEGA title that will have a mini-cartridge. It is a gem that reproduces the appearance of the cartridge into a miniature. In addition, there will be a specially made frame panel that can hold the mini-cartridge. //
    It seems it is strictly a decorative cartridge....

    Sweet. I've been thinking I might need a second controller as a companion to my 8bitdo SNES Pro. I tend to favor platformers and chiller types of games to shooters and suchlike, but sometimes you need a controller with legs and a good analogue stick setup.
    Thinking this might be perfect for me.

    Bit of a let down that you NEED the usb dongle in the dock..means you also can't wake the system up, like how you can with the Power A controller...Waking the system up with a controller is a great quality of life decision for me, so I'll stick with the Power A for now.

    • @BitZapple
      @BitZapple 5 лет назад

      Well, you can wake it up as long as it is docked or connected to a USB adapter on your TV.

  • @bandai1983

    I can't seem to sync the dongle to the controller anymore. I could be doing something wrong. The video said to plug it in the switch then press home to sync it too the dongle. But it won't work. I assumed it would be the new switch firmware. Because the powera controllers won't sync to the switch anymore. Tho they can connect to the brook adapters at least. Btw, My controller is a Bluetooth controller. But I swear it worked with the included dongle once with the switch and the PC.

    The digital shoulder buttons suck for GC emulation or not?

    • @Madlittlepixel
      @Madlittlepixel  5 лет назад +3

      If you are using it to play games that utilize the analog shoulder buttons then yes not gonna be good. Nothing beats the original GC controller and there are options to use them wired on a PC or other device. So there are options. I wouldnt really consider this controller for use on other things if I didn't want it mainly for the Switch.
