I like this because this is something you could do in your spare time, just do a couple at a time and before you know it you'll have made a bunch of them. That and it would be a fun project the kids could get involved with also.
I spent a year in education. When I was done, I had finished kindergarten. Any competency in one day cannot be expected, after all, it takes the best professionals many years to become top notch.
True artwork. Looks like Eric got the rock patting technique down considering how consistent all of the stepping stones were after the exposure rinse. Really enjoy your videos. Your inspiring me to try some of these my self around the home. Watched to the end and wanted to see them glow in the dark.
😮😢 didn’t get to see the glow stones at night… however really interesting idea to use all those colour contrasts! Looked really awesome 🤌👏 Dave you also explain in way that provides great information and not overwhelming to understand!! 🙏 😊
how long did you wait to take off the frame to where the stones stayed in their shape? also, I want to make numerous stones like these, various shapes and sizes and make a walkway with them. can i "connect" them with concrete, will it all "stick" together and not crack apart? I was thinking of this: frame the walkway, pour an inch or so of cement, place the decorated stepping stones on top of the poured concrete, fill in the gaps and sides with cement. Will this work?
Dave, I had a guy put sealer over a Saltillo patio before the grout dried and it smeared with the sealer. Is there a way to remove the sealer so the area can be cleaned and re-sealed??
To be honest with you, Eric needs more vibration at the wrist and he needs to work it out a little bit more so a little bit more practice will do the trick. But besides the point... you guys rocked it.

I’m going to try this for sure. Just one question. Do I need to put in some kind of reinforcement in the forms? Like wire or rebar.
No steel needed
Looks like you've done this before. Looks nice.
Yes, very similar
could a metal tool work as well as the wood tool?
FANTASTIC!
Many thanks!

The chef tastes the food as he prepares it to make sure of quality, but the cook skips this step because he is unconcerned with how it turned out.
