I have watched billions of videos… Hyperbole intended… And this one has been the most satisfactory one so far. I hope you have a great benefit from your and your family’s efforts.
Wonderful, hooray for these hardworking people who took almost nothing and made something beautiful, useful and saved alot of money. Excellent teamwork. Very smart.
Ive watched several rock making videos and this is the best one. I really like the rubber stamp for texture, and the way you added the different colors. Ive taken many many tips and ideas from this video. thank you!
Liked! It's always wonderful to see children interacting with parents rather than lost in their phone screens! Your children will have awesome memories of your time together!
Love the driveway, I’m going to do my walkway like yours. We had the same problem, had a lot of water coming in the house. My husband put water drainage all around our yard and it resolved the problem.
I don't know if this was done "properly" or not. All I know is that it looks amazing. You not just built a beautiful driveway, you built memories with your children. For as long as they live and every time they'll see that house, they will remember they helped dad building it. Your whole family is wonderful and helpful, but I really enjoyed the little one the most. At first, she was on everybody's way, not helping at all and yet, she was very busy learning, touching, and doing her own inquiry. It was amazing watching her learn. Then she became the star of the show! Those stamped rocks looked awesome! They couldn't look better if she didn't step on them!
What a truley inspiring video. Not just the clever handyman ideas but how a family can work and play together to create something practical and beautiful. Love it.
Looks fantastic, beautifully done, so much patience. The kids will remember this their whole lives. We built our cottage as I was growing up, my Dad taught me so much, I'm alone and 60 now lol but I feel pretty confident doing whatever needs to be done around the house, my Sister is the same. ☮ 💕
If you do the work, your kids will almost always join in. As busy as our lives are, most kids enjoy every moment spent with mom or dad.... this is a really cool idea. Thanks for the video
I loved the idea of having your daughter walk on the surface to give the pavers a more irregular surface. That creates a more natural look than an even surface and I haven’t seen anyone do that. Thanks!
You are a genius ♥ Consider a french drain for the rest of the yard. We had similar issues in our yard. We built drainage systems. Now it is as dry as a bone. Before we could not use back door when it rained :)
This looks so beautiful! It was a walkway that eventually turned into a really gorgeous driveway! Once you guys got the hang of it and kept going ..it turned out so amazing!! Everyone seemed to help out ...yes it was quite a project that lasted a number of years...but how really spectacular it looks now....just what you originally invisioned! 🌟❤️
That is sooooo beautiful! I will do this myself. We just recently moved to an old house and it needs lots of repair and beautification outside however we need to save as we have lots of expenses so this video is really helpful! Thank you and God bless you and your family.
My, oh my, these kids are so pro active! They are not seated behind closed doors and watching dad work alone through glass pane windows, but actively participating together building this gorgeous driveway. In the future they can add in their resume help build stone look a like driveway. Yay, Kudos for this family!
Whoa - that was incredible! You, and your family did a magnificent job. Adding the different colors to each stone made a heck of a lot of difference, as well - transforming it all into, literally, a beautiful job. Your results were so much better than if you'd gone with regular stone 'boulders' ... not to mention not having to lug them and shell out 20 bucks apiece for 'em!
Wow... I can't believe I found it one of the most enjoyable vids on youtube. The younger kids watch their dad work and the elder one helps out. Such a fairytale family. Not to mention, you sir are a dedicated, and hardworking genius.
Brilliant idea the stone driveway looks awesome and a dry basement. Job well thought threw great to see children helping their Dad keep their house looking cool.
Looks amazing 👏 great job and how cute that was you got your children involved! Awesome bonding moments! I hope you can work on installing a yard drain or French drain for all of that water. It will end up causing damage when it inevitably moves the ground under the slab of concrete and other things that you did to improve your home.
Very nice indeed. Way to roll up your sleeves and go to it. Engaging your kids in the process was very wise. The coloring is a little bright for my taste, but to each his own; but it's your driveway, so if you like it, I love it. Great work.
That is amazing. Thank you so much for posting this. I really appreciate how much the children participated, learning valuable skills and hopefully taking pride in their work. They did the hard work as well as the detail work. My Dad first drafted me ( maybe not so willingly at first )into our gardening & home repair projects. Now 63 years later, his oldest daughter is still enjoying the benefits of all that hard work and knowledge. I only wished I had paid more attention to his car repair skills !
You're an artist, Sir! Each manufactured stone is unique with wire reinforcement and removal of grass below. They all have unique shading too. I've done some of this with standard premade HD forms and must say, this is impressive. The color editing as they harden; artist level.
Awesome team work... You had a plan and together you saw it to the end, with great results. Your neighbor needs to learn from you. It looks like their entire garage was under 3 feet of water.
YOU ARE A WONDERFUL FATHER, I LOVE HOW YOU AND THE CHILDREN WORKED IN MAKING THIS BEAUTIFUL CONCRETE DRIVEWAY WITH VERY LOVELY RAINBOW COLORS ...YOU ARE THE BEST...WHAT A CREATIVE FAMILY EVERYBODY DID THEIR PART, YOU WILL REMEMBER THESE SPECIAL MOMENTS ALL OF THE DAYS OF YOUR LIVES AND NO ONE CAN TAKE THEM AWAY.... THANK YOU FOR SHARING THESE SPECIAL MOMENTS IN TIME WITH FAMILY...THANKS AGAIN. AND MAY GOD KEEP YOU ALL BLESSED ,WITH MANY MORE BLESSINGS TO COME INTO YOUR FUTURE....
Great job! This video was wonderful for several reasons - first of all, you taught me a great way to make concrete forms that can be customized so that each stone is unique - that's why I started watching! But then, to see your kids working with you... that really got me in the heart! You're teaching them skills, but more importantly, a good work ethic. I miss that age - my kids are in their 20's now - we're still super close, but that young age is really special. My son (22yrs old) and I spent the pandemic summer of 2020 building a small cabin on some land we own out in the countryside - from early May until the first week of December! As a father, that experience was one of the best! Also, I was happy to see how well your efforts kept the water out!
Your work truly shines. Practical, detailed, aesthetic. I love how all the kids helped get the job done and you encouraged them to show their creativity. You are the best kind of dad. Now I started watching to learn how. Was surprised by your preference for metal forms since most videos I've seen use acrylic. I guess I thought the concrete would adhere to the metal. Anyway, I really appreciate your video and project.
Beautiful and extremely well done if I may say so. Also, great to see the affection that your children (not kids ie. not baby sheep) have with your dog and to help "daddy" out. Thanks..
Nice work. Pallet of flagstone cost about 450 bucks and covers roughly 300 sq ft. Even with 3 pallets the amount of time and labor spent pouring and crafting these cost alot more than that in the long run. I can appreciate the time spent with the family working on this. You will always remember it. Nice work and take care.
simply amazing. started in 2019 and finished in 2020. but I'm sure there'll always something else to do to make the house a home. greetings from the Philippines.
I'm extremely happy to watch your video, and watch your kids help you with your work. congratulations on the children you have, they are blessings in your life. May the Great FATHER bless your beautiful fMi family
Amazing. Thank you, just what I need for my driveway. It gets very muddy and make it very difficult to move my vehicle after heavy rain and snow. I went to Lowe's and Home Depot, the price for these rocks is outrageous. Thank you so much. I watched many videos on this subject, this is the easiest and best one I have watched. This is exactly the look I was going for. You just made my work a lot easier and save me a bunch. You just got yourself a new subscriber!🙏👍🥰
Loved to watch the entire family get involved. What a perfect education for the young. You also have the patience of a Saint! all those forms and concrete. It looks amazing.
Wow.. What a feast for eyes.!! You are a blessed family. Mom made everything in background and even camera work. Kids are also great children and ever ready to help. Girl was cute with dog and took care of it when needed. Wishing you Bliss from 🇮🇳 India
This video is exactly what I needed - big property - need beautiful - and - on budget - thank you for my soon to come mom/son project idea! Going to let my son see your children helping you out - I KNOW he's going to love it!!!!!
Congratulations on your work and effort. The idea is great because it is SIMPLE. Greetings to the assistants. And to you as a FAMILY, I WISH YOU LOVE ISLOG.
Looks like you need some drain pipe put beside your driveway or between your home an neighbors. Add a small pond to catch overflow. Genius driveway sir! 👍🏼

Very nice. You have wonderful children helped you out, good team work.
Cherish your kids man. You don't know how blessed you are.
It is a two ways dynamics, parents are doing a great job educating their children with love and direction.

Absolutely gorgeous! And no less because of the full family effort! You have created a beautiful project with a beautiful family! Blessings!
LOVE what you and your kids did ! AND glad lower level of house did not flood. Now you just need to work on not getting that back garage flooded.
Thanks. That flooded garage at the end of the video is the neighbors house.

Nice work family, I would hire this happy crew. Functional and attractive addition to the setting
