My teenage / earlier twenties self would be dumbfounded to find out that I get such joy and satisfaction by watching a 40 minute video of a guys pouring concrete.
@@7.3powerstroke6 thats what separates the boys from the men. How much time you spend learning your craft and how much time you spend perfecting your finished product(concrete)
I love the design of that house! Multiple garages, huge open concrete patio, still has some grass and garden, its got everything I would want in a house. Nice job on the concrete!
@@OdellCompleteConcrete I agree .. seems an interesting design. I would not want to such a tight narrow driving through area however. That would not be large enough to handle, say an RV that you want in there. The interesting thing, is this private area that is created. Like your own courtyard .
You and the team always go the extra mile to make the job perfect and the customer's happy :) happy to see people that care about quality are still around :)
Yes, there are way too many dudes out there in the construction industry that act like total assholes and have zero customer service experience and ability. If you do good work, at a competitive rate, with a mind for your customers, you will be successful.
I have just done a pour for an underground water tank.. your videos gave me confidence to do the whole site prepared with base and rebar ect.. I got some help on pour day but the rest was me.. and with your videos !!! Thanks very much !!!!
DEAR DAVID I REALLY ENJOY WATCHING ALL YOUR VIDEOS..THEY ALWAYS TEACH ME NEW THINGS ABOUT DIY PROJECTS..I REALLY LEARN ALOT...REALLY WISH YOU WHERE AVAILABLE IN MY AREA..YOUR WORK IS A ,,MASTER PIECE,, ENJOY YOUR DAY..AND KEEP MAKING GREAT VIDEOS..😃👍😃
Amazing job you all did at this home. Interesting to hear about the Redwood used. 50 - 80years old. Outlasted the hinges 😮👍. We don’t have redwood in New Zealand 🇳🇿. I really liked the set up of the house driveway access to the garages. It really is a substantial amount of concrete area. Looks amazing ✊👏😊
I love saw cut lines vs cold joints... Esspecially on driveways!!! Nothing is more frustrating then working on a car and a jack or stand gets caught in a cold joint... saw'd joints just glide right over.
Great show good crew odells shows great craftsmanship to concrete i like steel rebar but if recycled plastic then fair enough but still odells are a credit to concrete industry
I am not criticizing your work when I say this. I am just saying I think it would have been way easier with a mini excavator and a dump trailer. With it so thin and no rebar I wouldn't have bothered breaking it up, even if you had to rent something for a few hours. Love the channel and your video production. Also the job you did at this house, right up to the very small details of cleaning up every last bit of debris at the end of the driveway as well as kiddie pool was in incredible. Anyone out that way that was looking to hire you should watch your videos as a reference to the quality of work you do.
I've been watching your videos, working towards making some concrete walkways on my own property. The amount of detail and construction wisdom that you pack into these videos is just amazing! I was wondering if you are using #3 or #4 Owens Corning rebar in this slabs. Thanks for the great videos!
Great job. Shame the customer didn't go for an exposed aggregate, but still wonderful work there. Always cleaning up after yourself like the professionals you are too.
Your videos are amazing to watch, your crew and craftsmanship are impeccable!! Do you network with other concrete companies to recommend jobs? I live in Santa Clarita/Valencia and need a lot of concrete work done, I’m sure that’s out of your service area but wondering if you have any recommendations out this way in LA County ? Thanks
do they make jointer saws that can use the vacuum attachment to catch the dust and water to cool the blade at the same time? I don't have a business I am just curious!
Hey Bro I commented before. You really need to check out that attachment for Bobcat called "The Beak" It is truly the best concrete removal tool ever invented. I saw it on the Gate City Drainage channel. It is unreal. Peace!

Love these videos; clearly narrated without music; Your crew gets it done right. Those customers can't be anything but happy.
I concur

I think there 4 ethernet cables

I always used a concrete tamp or "jitterbug" to press cold joints together.
May be the answer.

Is the cleanliness of the drum of the concrete truck the same with the independent trucks? This one showed more corrosion.
