Alan Rickman Snape character may have been scary but the off-set image of the star is far from it. People: "Do you still miss Alan Rickman after all this time?"
Me: "Always"
true he portrayed sneep verry well!
Good man
ALWAYS!
Always
RIP Alan! We love you and miss you, Always 😭
He was an amazing man and is truly missed.
Whenever I hear his name my heart aches. I am not kinda sensitive person, but his passing way stunned me and still I've a feeling of losing somebody who was so precious in my life.
I feel just the same way as you. My world somehow crushed when I heard that he died, he was a precious human being.
it just wasnt right. hed been here for so long....he was supposed to be here to revel in the glory of his career, in being a National Treasure, for many more years....
Same here 😢
😢 Truly told.
@@LusciousTwinkle He has other important things to do. He finished what he came for. He isn't the kind of person to revel in what he considers done.
My heart breaks for this man for he so wanted a family and never had the chance to have children of his own. I will give him tremendous respect as he believed two people are in a relationship and if one didn’t want children then that was the way it was. I hope to find someone to love me that deeply. I truly miss this man and hate cancer with a passion as it is taken away so many of our talented souls. I have followed Alan’s career for a long time and will miss the new characters he would have brought to life. At least we have his legacy to enjoy and pass on….RIP Alan we will remember…..Always.
/* wands up for an amazing Professor: Severus Snape
/* wands up for and amazing person: Alan Rickman
You both will be missed dearly
/* Always 🥀

While I loved him in Harry Potter I will never forget one of his most iconic lines from a movie, "I'll cut your heart out with a spoon" from Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves
Just goes to show you how impactful this man's career has affected us. It's been 5 yrs.... and it seemed like just yesterday he left us. Can't say I won't miss that voice.
Harry potter ended like 9 years ago and still people talk about it
This was the magic of harry potter. ☠
💕Harry Potter never ended, it is still going on in our hearts 💕
He was wonderful. I had the honor of meeting him in 2010 in NYC. He was warm and genuine and generous. I miss him terribly.
Evanna also said she owes him a lot and remembers his words to this day. In my opinion, Alan was amazing and influenced the lives of probably every young star who played in this series and his death must have hurt them all.
A wonderful human being, we will never again see his like.
But it's not just for the "Snape" character that he should be remembered. The first "Die Hard" movie would have bombed without him. He was awesome in that. RIP. Prayers for family, friends, and fans of this great man.
Also Robin Hood - Prince of Theives, would have been a blip without his turn as the Sherrif.
@@euphospug Right, I forgot that one. He was a great actor. He could pull anything off.
@@euphospug ,
That's for sure! One of my favorite lines from that movie is, "Cancel the kitchen scraps for lepers and orphans, no more merciful beheadings, and call off Christmas.”🤣🤣🤣
Can’t forget Galaxy Quest.
I became a BIG fan of Alan in the movie "Die Hard" ... he was soooo good as a mean cold-hearted bad guy. Without him in the movie, I'm not sure Die Hard would be one of favors. So, when I found him in "Harry Potter" ... well I loved it. RIP Alan.
Die Hard is my favorite Christmas movie! 😉
Anytime I read or see anything about him, I feel so sad and want to cry. We lost a great actor and man. Rest in peace Alan.
That's why I don't understand people who don't like Alan Rickman or any of the roles he played. Seriously he was one of the best human beings on this entire planet and he'll always be missed ❤️
Many people confuse the actor with the roles he/she plays.
I absolutely hated Draco Malfoy, and who doesn't?
But the ACTOR is one of the most awesome personalities in his actors age-group :D
Goes to show how good an actor Alan Rickman was, if he is still "hated" for his acted "villainy" in the HP movies!
Misted Mind Shows how some people can't differentiate reality from fiction
@@MistedMind well I have to say I really love Severus Snape 😂 but yes exactly...he played his role perfect
There is something seriously wrong with those people!
@@silanor248 he is my crush in HP too , I really 💙 him
I don’t get emotional over celebrity’s passing away but with Alan I did, and every time I see anything with him in it I cry
The clip of him playing with the baby... I've never seen that and I am not joking made me cry.. it's been several years... I still miss him... he was my first love... sounds so silly as an almost 30 something woman who never even got to meet him... beautiful man playing extremely complicated people. 💜
Even 18/19 women love him believe me , as love is not something related to age or fame or colour , love is humanity and a good human can easily be loved till the day we die .
That's not actually him in the clip. It's just a cosplayer, but he was very good with children and it's very sad he never had his own (he had his reasons, though). He was my first love as well and truly perfection personified.
One of the reasons the kids in the Harry potter cast was so successful and stayed down to earth was because of people like Alan Rickman who took the time to care for and nurture the kids instead of treating them like just kids.
LOCKSLEY, IM GONNA CUT YOUR HEART OUT WITH A SPOON!!
favorite alan rickman line of all time
@DarthPorkchop "You! My room, three-thirty! You! Three-forty-five! Bring a friend!" (4/8/2022)
I looove his voice...
Like velvet
I am the Metatron!
Same
It is amazing
Although he had an English accent, the rhythm and inflection was slightly different from Standard English.
That was because his mother was Welsh.
He must have picked up trace elements of her musical accent when he was young.
He also had to learn to speak a certain way to overcome a speech impediment caused by restricted movement in his jaw - a condition he was born with.
Both factors contributing to the formation of his distinctive style of voice!
Snape was actually my favourite professor in Hogwarts! Alan Rickman was the best choice for the part, and was a cool man. RIP, Alan!
I cried when I heard that he had died. ~Janet in Canada
Such a fine man…. still sorely missed.
Two thoughts, Snape was not a villain. He was the ultimate hero in the Harry Potter series. And, I was excited to hear about his diaries being published for about 3 seconds and then guilt set in - should we really be reading that?????
Its my favourite actor 😊💗💗💗
Depends, really... If you don't want to out of respect, don't. But if you want to learn more about him to appreciate him and his work and life, go for it. It is your decision alone. I will not read them, because I feel that it not something I earned. I only knew him as Pr. Snape and saw him in one other role after his passing. I never tried to find out more about the Actor and I will leave it with that. For me, he is Snape and I know a lot about Snape. And Snape would have killed me for reading his diaries.
@@keinenbockmehr1749 i not disagreeing with you in the least. I too probably wont read them either. However by leaving harry collect snapes memories was in a way revealing to him his diaries. Its possible that Mr Rickman wanted his diaries published after he was gone in case something he did or said would be meaningful or helpful to others…?? We can only find out from the forward in the book i imagine. Its just a fact that i was a huge fan of his pre harry potter but still feel that i dont want to pry.
@Ayla Alya I agree diaries are private
I can relate with you but different
I had a diary once and my 2 Little cousins on my mother's side of the family in Jamaica got a hold of it
My so-called Auntie called me a monkey and they had treated me so bad I still have mixed feelings about it towards them
Because of their saying that I was getting pushed on saying girls can't play boy games and boys can't play boy girl games.
I just had become distant because of them, not I wouldn't even want to have their numbers on my phone on WhatsApp because every time I do and I put something on my WhatsApp status they look at it
They are the reason why I no longer have a diary been I can not trust them
Depends on his wishes.. And who and what the sale enriches. He seemed to be a giver in life... Perhaps he continues it off stage....
It was a stunning shock to hear of his passing. He will be admired always for his body of work and loved for his compassionate and nuanced portrayal of Snape.
Like Michael Caine, he was born in a working class family that had no money. A man of great character and tenacity to achieve what he did.
Snape was no villain. He just looked like you would expect one to look. He was ultimately a hero.
Alan Rickman was perfect for the part of Snape. He was a wonderful actor & he’s so missed. RIP Alan, there will never be another person who could play Snape like you did. I’m glad you really did love & protect Harry Potter in Deathly Hallows 2.
Not all heroes wears capes. Apparently some wear full body cloaks.
RIP Alan, your path through life made everybody else's just that little bit better. Thank you for that.
Alan Rickmansworth was my favourite actor, since I was a child. His talents as great and it’s so heartwarming to hear of what an amazing person he was. RIP Sir
His voice his aura can Bewitch anyone's mind, even put a stopper in death ❤️
Miss him ❤️
I have many of his movies. I love his voice and his humor even when he played a badass. He seemed very low key and serious about his work but had a good time working. I miss seeing him perform more. RIP Alan Rickman
He is with us in our heart .
Alaways 😌😌😩🥺😥
We miss you Alan! ❤
I am glad they snuck a cheeky Dogma clip in it is one of my all time favourite screen appearances of Alan Rickman.
Alan was a living legend…one of my faves of all time.
I miss him and he played snape so well I love him always!! 😭💖
I miss him. He was great! Loved his voice.
I’m still hurt by Alan’s death and i don’t have that with famous people very much.
But with him for some reason hurts 😢
Always dear sir Alan Rickman😭❤😭❤😭
@MaritaKorneliusson It's interesting how you say that. It makes me wonder how he would've reacted, if he'd been offered a knighthood by Queen Elizabeth. (10/23/2021)
@@daniellemusella1594 to me he is a Sir Always😥
NO ONE CAN EVER BEAT ALAN RICKMAN AS PROFESSOR SNAPE!
HE IS A LEGEND!
Alan might be gone but he will never be FORGOTTEN!☺️💜 WE LIVE YOU ALAN!!!
Always forever missed. Love Alan Rickman
why am i tearing up....... beautiful memories of Alan
I'm in Calgary Canada. We just had our version of Comic Con this past weekend. I attended a Q & A with Matthew Lewis who played Neville Longbottom. He told the story about his talk with the late Rickman, and how that talk convinced him to go on with his career - in theatre. Matthew took the advice, and his success in the play is why he is still an actor today.
I love Alan so much. It still hurts 😪
He didn't have to wait till the last movie to keep Snape's story a secret... just until the last book XD
Alan Rickman will always be remembered for one of the most iconic characters in film history: Hans Gruber...
What a wonderful person he was! I can't see HP films without heartache!
There's so much love and gratitude for Alan Rickman. That's the memory I will keep of Harry Potter
My first trip to new york in 2014, we were staying in a condo in chelsea, we had seen a gentleman coming into the building with his groceries, my stepmom thought it looked like Ralph Fiennes, i poo poo-ed it, as i thought it was ridiculous that we'd been in the city less than a half hour, how would we bump into a famous person right away? a few days later, we were coming back from a show and waiting for the elevator, we were unprepared for the doors opening and seeing Alan Rickman! He kindly and politely held the door for us as he got out, and we were starstruck and speechless! i was heartbroken when i heard the news of his passing and my heart goes out to his family and friends.
R.I.P YOU BEAUTIFUL LEGEND
RIP Mr Rickman. 🙏🏾💖
This brought tears to my eyes watching this. I had never seen any of your videos before watching this video. You earned a new subscriber.
Meaning. That is exactly what Alan Rickman had to each of us who admired him. He was gracious, had integrity, had the good sense to spend his life with a woman who meant the world to him, and and had the ability to make everyone who knew or talked with him feel special. Yes, he will always be remembered and we know why. Oh gosh, I failed to mention his acting...which was perfect for each role he played.
Amazing man. Do I miss him? ~Always
My favorite Alan Rickman role, after Severus Snape of course, was as the Shire Reave (or in modern English Sheriff) of Nottingham in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. When he tells Michael Wincott's character Guy of Guisbourne that he wants to cut Robin of Oxley's tongue out with a spoon Guy asks why not a knife and Rickman in that characteristically deliciously evil way he had replies "Because it will hurt more". That has got to be my all time favorite Rickman movie line.
bye this left me crying
Alan Rickman is a legendary actor.. I love him in Dogma 👌
What 🤨😑😑😑😑
Agreed. Very underrated film.
Love him as the Angel, he was funny and yet so deadpan whenever he spoke, that's also my favourite film.
I haven't seen his other films other than the ones that make him out evil like "Die Hard" and "Quigley Down Under" and I had expected that his role in the Harry Potter series would be the same however I must say that I was totally wrong. That is the best character of the world of a great actor.
You should try to watch “Dogma” and “Truly,Madly, Deeply” both often forgotten. And who can forget “CANCEL CHRISTMAS!!” from “Robin Hood…etc?
I heard a story of him at a birthday party for the son of a friend of his, and one of the kids came up to him to ask him why he always played the villain. He replied with "I don't play the villain, I play the interesting character".
Robin Hood too
He makes me smile when I am sad. I miss him.
Alan Rickman was a legend - great actor and top bloke 😊🤩 RIP Alan and thanks for all you did and were 😊
The truth is Alan Rickman had a great acting career even before Harry Potter. I hope his fans will see some of the great work.
Alan Rickman will always be remembered 💖
I kinda had a crush on him...
Honorable, wonderful actor and man.
Gone way to soon, but Always remembered with fondness and appreciation... RIP... and Thank You Sir....
He was an awesome person and a huge inspiration to people around the world and to actors alike! You shall be terribly missed Mr. Alan Rickman
A truly awesome actor and wonderful man.

His death makes me cry all the time
Miss this franchise and all that made it unforgettable ❤️🩹🙏🏽
That truly unmistakable voice……not only a wonderful actor but an amazing human too…..valè Alan Rickman
I love Alan Sir ❤️❤️❤️
A great talent. He could do anything.
Alan Rickman is truly an amazing actor and person!!!
I have seen a lot of movies where Mister Rickman had a rol in it! A lot of costume drama's! A real gentleman! A real actor!
He said Die Hard fans,......I know what he meant but we "Die Hard" fans spend every Christmas with Alan,...best Christmas movie ever. Yippy kay yay, ALWAYS.
Amazing actor! R.I.P
I would've loved, loved, loved to have met him. Such an amazing actor and voice. Also, I didn't know he wasn't a bad character (Snape), I think it took me one or two books to decide for myself which side he was on.
Thanks for this. Beautifully done.
For me, he will always be the Sheriff Of Nottingham...
"Why a spoon cousin, why not an axe?"
"Because it's dull you twit, it'll hurt more!" LOL I love that movie!
As good as that was, I have to say his role as Hans Gruber left a life-long impression of how good a calm and soft spoken villain can be.
@@straidenlopez7115 Of course, Gruber was a very much deep character, magistrally performed.
Alan rickman was in a ROBIN HOOD MOVIE!!!???? YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS
@@farhadmahbub2431 Long, long time ago. When Kevin Costner was a star and Morgan Freeman was some kind of young version of himself.
what an amazing video ! love alan always..
He was great
I always looked so forward to his movies. He is so missed by his fans. And you know, he must have truly been a man of his word. I saved his Die Hard Fall in my movie collections when he died. So like him l'm thinking....he didn't scream in the fall. As such we fans didn't even know he was sick til the end. You're missed Mr Rickman.....you were a prince among men.
When ever I hear his name I can't help but see his face as he fell off the building at the end of Die Hard, or looking like he walked out of an explosion at the end of Galaxy Quest and it might take a second but after hearing his voice you could recognize it anywhere
@GeorgeHarris A college friend of mine had a moment like that. She told me that she was watching "Sense and Sensibility" one night with her sister, and Alan's lighter hair in that movie completely threw her off. She didn't recognize him at all, until he said his first line. (10/23/2021)
It is the evidence of an actor's acting ability when they can pull such immensely powerful emotions from the audience towards the character they are playing. Though it can be a double edged sword as in Alan's case when such an incredible actor playing such an unlikable, conflicted and multilayered character can cause the audience to blend their passionate emotions towards character with actor himself.
I gasp whenever I see him at any movie.
Really love him
Truly Madly Deeply
He was truly one of a kind. RIP
A story that is all good about a star? How unusual and joyful to hear someone as famous as him was beloved by pretty much every co star he ever had. Impressive, Great video!
A great actor and human being, missing you Alan "Always"
4:08 Yet once Matt and Rupert spilled milkshake in Alan Rickman's beloved car... Being terrified and mischievous at the same time!
@SherryWang I'd like very much to hear more of this story. (10/23/2021)
@@daniellemusella1594 ok. So when filming the Order of the Phoenix, Matthew and Rupert weren’t allowed to go anywhere less than 5m from Alan Rickman’s other car, because they accidentally spilled milkshakes in his beloved BMW before 😂
A true talent who will be missed.
No..... I am not crying 😭😭😭
felt some type of pain when I hear his voice knowing he s not here anymore...
