What was your favorite moment from Alan's life?
I love his adulation for you! I loved in Harry Potter he was NOT the evil presence but despite pushing Harry to be better, he was actually helping him.❣️ 😍❣️
I love how devious he was in Barchester Chronicles. No one could have done it better.
Truly, Madly, Deeply… with Juliet Stevenson
First time I saw him in Robinhood , I fell madly in love with him as the sheriff because of the humour in him. He made a nasty character not so nasty. I could see the kindness in him then . A huge loss for everyone. Thank you for profiling him .
Back when he won some fan award from HP on the red carpet where all fans had voted for their favourite character and he won for Snape and they gave him some huge shiny trophy and he couldn’t actually believe that he had won. Absolutely precious.
I attended a wedding in the UK, in 2008, where Alan Rickman was a guest, he stayed out of the spotlight completely and never overshadowed the bride and groom. Sadly, at that time, I didn't realise what an amazing man he was.
“I don’t play vilians. I play very interesting people.”
Alan Rickman
This is the only celebrity channel that’s consistently wholesome and humanizing. I was devastated when he died, he was a delightful man.
Thank you so much for the love on our channel Cecily, we're so glad you like our videos!
Agreed...I felt our world suffered a great loss.
I remember how shocked and saddened I was when I heard of his death. I liked him very much, great actor. 💔
I agree he was an amazing actor with an adorable wit and sense of humour and one of the nicest sweetest guys and a very loving husband I just love to bits
We were all completely heartbroken by his loss Robin, it was a real tragedy. He was an incredibly talented actor, and he is very missed by all of his fans and loved ones.
Damn, he was taken too soon.
Alan Rickman was an amazing villain. However, he was also a great lover onscreen. I loved him in Sense and Sensibility.
YES!!!!
As a huge Jane Austen fan I thought Alan Rickman was perfectly cast as Colonel Brandon.
Yes!!
He was also in a tv film in 1990, called "Truly, Madly, Deeply" with Juliet Stevenson, which was a fantasy romance (BBC Films). Perhaps he was inspired by this film to use a similar title for his book ... "Madly, Deeply". (The trailers for this film are on YT).
Yes, I always loved him as Colonel Brandon! It's a shame that I don't hear many talking about it. It's one of my favorite Jane Austin books and movies, apart from Pride and Prejudice. His role in Galaxy Quest is amazing as well.
I still miss this man. I never knew he was sick. I am glad to know he was kind and wonderful in real life.
Same and I agree . I am embarrassed to admit with the makeup and all I did not realize that he was the same person.
That beautiful voice.
If you were aware of his sickness in the first place, what would you do? Avoiding his death by bribing Grim reaper? People get old and sick and then die. 🙄
@@LeviAthan107 he wasn't that old
@@niini01 69 is a pretty young age. Then we are the old people
I absolutely loved him since first seeing him act in the 1980’s. He will be greatly missed by many.
He was one of those rare people you know maybe once or twice in your entire life, and they stay with you forever, making you a better person for having known them.
Alan Rickman was a gift to the world. When he died, I bawled my eyes out - and I don’t cry easily; my grandfather, my aunt, and 2 of my uncles died and I didn’t shed a tear, but I GRIEVED when Alan died.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 whenever I feel like stupid, I make up my mind looking at dumb people like you who cry over someone who didn't even know you ever existed.
I appreciate that he suffered in silence, that takes courage.
At least he did not suffer long
Alan Rickman deserved a Award for every role he played my favorite of course was professor Snape but I loved him in Galaxy Quest His love for his lovely wife is transcending Beauty Peace Sir Rickman Blessings to your wife Family and Friends ✌️🍀♥️🙏🙌♥️💚💜
I consider people like him as a gift to humanity, no matter what their profession is.... they offer!!! always....
He was known as "The Voice" and only lived with Rima... They loved and respected each other.. One of the best Actors in the business..❤🐻
He married her before he died.
@@pinky2245 Who and where did you get that info? As far as Daily and other media...does not tell the truth. Did Rima say in public?
@@donnalee3081 You obviously didn't watch or "listen" to the video! It is clearly stated right there! I knew about it some time ago shortly after he passed away.
@@pinky2245 Guess my hearing impairment did not see the captions obviously...🤔😏❤🐻

He was an actor whose roles you never wanted to miss.
Outstanding in ‘Truly Madly Deeply’…… and everything else he’s ever done.
I initially didn’t have high expectations for this channel because I’ve seen so many celebrity news channels make up fake stories and hit pieces about Alan, but this video was very well done and classy. Nice job.
Thank you so much for kind words! We're so glad that you liked this video. We always work hard to tell stories that are thoughtful and moving for our viewers.
There are 2 actors that made me sob when I learned they had died. Alan Rickman and Betty White. I loved them both and still miss them.
Alan Rickman was one of a kind. So talented and a voice like velvet, even though he always denied how special his voice has been. My favourite role will always be his character in Snow Cake. Love the movie. But I‘m also a big fan of Truly, Madly, Deeply and his role in Sense and Sensibility. I miss his talent. Met him once in Dublin, back in the day when he played in a Borkman play. He came to the stage door every single night in winter, because he knew there will be fans waiting to see him. He then just stood there and smiled and let people approach him. He was a very kind man and a beautiful actor.
I loved this guy. Fantastic actor. I'm glad to hear he was a great human.
Alan Rickman, I knew I loved him for a reason. What a talented beautiful man.
RIP Alan. I have thoroughly enjoyed everything I’ve seen you in. From Professor Snape to Hans Gruber, to Sweeney Todd, to THE METATRON!!
You are sorely missed!! 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
My beloved sister also died of pancreatic cancer. She was my best friend. Oh how I miss her. I hate this disease
I loved him in "Die Hard." He had a great voice.
So nourishing to see a media outlet actually producing stories that uplift and encourage the public. It doesn't even have to be about celebrities... there are quietly amazing people in every level of society. Thank you for sharing the lives of people we can look up to and seek to emulate.
Sad died to early, great actor, wish we had more time with him,RIP Alan Rickman
R.I.P a great actor, love his movies.
What a humble and beautiful soul.
He sounds like a very caring and beautiful human being. Rest in peace.
I loved his voice and persona on film. I'm so touched by the type man he was. I also was unaware he'd passed away. 😔
He passed a few days after Bowie. Sadly he didn't get as much coverage but there was some. Horrible start to that year.
REST IN HEAVENLY PEACE ALAN 🙏😢💔🙏
I was not always a fan of the characters... or villains... he played but enjoyed his performances. RIP Alan Rickman 😢
I do know this one true thing.....that he was a grand actor in every single movie of his that l watched and l always thought how handsome and talented he truly is. We as huge fans of his were saddened by his death. I pray his precious wife is living life to her fullest. We read she was his lifelong love. What a beautiful story to hear of them. I'm an old woman and l think l kind of had a crush on him myself. And never met him. We miss him and all the wonderful acting he gave in his movies . What a grand legacy of work he left tho. Many hugs to his family from someone who cares. And this video was so beautifully told. For just a moment while we watched, he was here again.Thank you for sharing this with his fans. I just found your channel and subscribed .
Rickman was so great when he played the evil sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood. So great...
I was such a fan that..I couldn't believe it when he walked into a clothing store I was in ... in NY and I had a conversation with him ..was so lovely.
I still feel the loss when see somthing like this. And I dont normally get too emotional at celebrities passing.
This was well told & informative. Rest In Peace Alan❤
Thank you so much Carol, we really appreciate all the love!
Loved alan in the movie dogma and in the Harry Potter movies 💖💖
God, I miss him so much...
We do too! :(
First admired him as Obadiah Slope in 'Barchester Towers.' He was a villain in that, too.
Thank for this. I loved his performances. I once encountered him, while walking through a museum. I was so thrilled, but I didn't say anything. It was just the two of us, but I didn't want to bother him.
Wow! I never knew about the prostate cancer and surgery in 2005. Thanks for the info.
Alan is my favourite British male actor and always will be .
Seeing Rima as she is today was an awful shock.....Alan's death has taken its toll on her.💔
Loved him in Quigley Down Under. He played a wonderful “baddie” to Tom Selleck’s “goodie”. 😢
Oh yes, he was a fantastic villain in Quigley Down Under!
Thank you for reminding me that I need to catch up on all of the Alan Rickman films that I haven't watched yet, and get to know him all over again, sure Miss him, found him in Robin Hood and he' was SOOOOO funny, and of course we hear him on TV constantly with all the HP reruns, but OH, what an amazing actor and man, Thanks for sharing!
I loved him best in ‘Truly, Madly, Deeply’..!! ❤❤❤
Always the best stories and best narration ❤
Thank you so much Pooja!
He was also famous for playing romantic roles. If you've never seen Truly Madly Deeply, do look it up! Very sad but so good
Great actor, great person
apart from being amazingly handsome and talented, with a Unique voice, one got a deep sense of the Kindness of this dearly missed man. ForEVER alive in our Hearts
Such a talented actor and wonderful to know how kind he was. Truly admired him
Alan was beautiful and talented. Legends never die not really.
His memory will always live on through all the incredible films that he made.
@@RumourJuice I miss his acting and his voice so much. His voice was always soothing even when he portrayed Professor Snape. He was just wonderful.
He provided a car to take me to see a Strindberg play he’d directed, and afterwards to have tea with the cast. I was in recovery from a brain injury and not working.
Tea with the cast made me feel part of the business again.
It was more than a gift. Only Alan could have thought of doing this.
It was a blessing.
@@janel342 gone too soon.
He was amazing
he was once of a kind and the best man ever!!!! what an amazing man !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a beautiful tribute to a really special man... ❤️🩹❣️❣️❣️

🫶Omg, time goes by... But the love is never ending... And the tears comes everyone.... In Love RIP 🫶💔
SO hard to believe that 'Hans Gruber' was his first film role, STILL one of the most iconic Bad Guy performances ever filmed! Alan Rickman was truly GREAT!
One of my favorite actors.
R.I.P. GREAT ACTOR , LOVELY MAN .ALAN RICKMAN .
I really liked "A Little Chaos", his last film, I think. He was very cool. 💔⭐❤⭐❤⭐❤⭐
I admire how he loves his wife and stayed with her throughout their lifetime together. So rare in the entertainment industry.
They were apart for at least 10 years, not counting the time when he was sharing a flat with Ruby Wax and her boyfriend.
True, they were, but he stayed faithful to her. He was a gentleman
@@Petrosartavanis73 I didn’t know about this. All I’ve seen is that he and his wife had been together since they were 18.
@@Girl-rj3qe if you look at some of the pictures of them together you will see there's none from the 90s.
Some entry in his diaries mentions "Rima came by" which means they didn't live together.
@@Petrosartavanis73 okay, maybe there were times they disagreed and had to stay away from each other, but I think it’s nothing unusual (just like a normal unmarried couple having disagreements and needing time away from each other). Actually, I don’t follow them exactly, but maybe they don’t have many pictures since Rima doesn’t work in the entertainment industry? Most pictures of celebrity couples are from movie/Tv premieres
Beautiful! A true man
Loved hom . Was SO shocked and sad when I heard of his passing 😞
Thankyou for this ..I am 3/4 way through the book and I madly love it .. AR such a Kind and caring intelligent man will always be Deeply missed 💙

My condolences to his wife and family. Enjoyed his acting in the Harry Potter movies. 🤗
This was a great video! I like your format and how genuine it is. Keep it up!
He sounds like my mom, 7 year battle with cancer and she never let me see her fear/ pain, she would even refuse her pain meds when I was there.
absolutely awesome!! love love love this man!!!! 😢💜💜💜
Reading through his wonderful diary, I can really picture his face when mentioned in something called 'Rumour juice'
I admired him so much as an actor and I thought his performance in The Death Hallows Part 2 was COMPLETELY overlooked, he was brilliant. SUcKS so bad that he's gong.
He was the most amazing loving man
What a star! What a trouper and what a GREAT story.
When God reaches down to pluck an Orchid. Only the best in His bouquet.
What a beautiful thought.💕
Snape wasn't a villain.
he had a darling face
A loss too far. It's been 8 years this month and I still cannot believe he's gone.
How many films will in future be made with second choice actors because the first is now resting?
Thank you is not enough, Alan. ❤
love Alan Rickman watched any movie he is in it so talented complex characters he left as so soon
Truly, madly, deeply. The sun ain’t gonna shine anymore.
I did not realize that Die Hard was his first movie, he seemed like a seasoned movie actor and was great in the part. I will miss him.
Absolutely! Alan Rickman's talent was truly remarkable, and his portrayal of Hans Gruber in "Die Hard" left a lasting impression. Any favorite Alan Rickman performances or roles that stand out to you? 🌟
He didn't became know cus of snape bro,he was already an award winner and nominee long before that.
Sorry wasn't done. I've only cried twice when an actor passed away. Laurence Olivier and wonderful Alan Rickman. Goodnight sweet princes.
Excellent 👍
Lovely tribute to a lovely man,but there are a few errors. First, Alan was 42 not 46 when he made Die Hard.....and secondly.... Severus Snape was NOT a villian! I doubt if Alan would have stayed on with HP if he thought that Severus was a villian.
❤❤❤❤ true
He was a compelling presence and acting voice.
Absolutely! His talent and voice left a lasting impact on audiences. 👏
Loved his movies, ❤️❤️❤️
Great actor.❤
It must be very difficult for Rima to go on without him. 😕
If she had children like he wanted she'd have them and grandchildren to love and comfort her. Sadly she decides not to
Judging from an appearance of hers at a 2020 public event ,I never saw her so animated.
Loved him. Just listened to audiobook of autobiography. Sorry it was so badly read ( so many mispronunciations).
I was so sad when the news came out. I enjoyed watching him.
I wonder if his wife regrets not having children - having a little piece of her love living on - I think it very selfish of her - he sacrificed for her but she ? I don’t know
I agree! She should have at least had one child with him. She wouldn't be alone now after his death if she had a children or grandchildren to comfort her
If she had loved him as much as he loved her she would have put her wishes last ,like he did!
Plus she never wore his wedding ring nor did she take his name after they got married.
Publishing his private diaries was an insult to his memory.
Only Alan had the right to decide what he wanted to include in the book and nobody else.
Rima is one of the people I instantly took a dislike in without knowing why and I was right to feel that way.
Whatever she offered him was so little in comparison to what he gave up for her, she's a selfish and calculating person,Alan deserved someone worthy of his love and consideration
Loved him 🌹
Still do and ALWAYS will 💔❣️❤️
@@barbarazirger7732 no you don’t ‘love’ him at all. You disrespect him constantly by repeatedly criticizing his widow!
Aaw bless him x

shame about the music in the background. too much. If you are speaking, why play music over top of your voice?
Don't forget A little chaos, Sense & Sensibilty and of course Robin Hood where he stole the show.❤😢
