This is good!!
Ruby and Alan... lovely people.
You realize after awhile we are all actors everyone has a part to play the good the great and the bad.
“All the world’s a stage…”
Very Shakespeare❤!!
A long time ago, I saw a documentary about Ruby. She visited her parents and they were really ghastly. They were not very welcoming at all to her, which you would think would be the opposite in front of the cameras. I felt embarrassed for her. They were not only ghastly, but they were weird too. They were sitting on sofas that still had the plastic covers on them that would have been there when they were delivered. It's such a shame as Ruby is one of the most talented all rounders I have ever seen. any other parents would have been proud of her. It's their loss.
I adore Ruby Wax (Wachs).
I was born and raised in Ruby's neighbourhood. 'Wax' is a common Jewish name. I never knew it was originally 'Wachs' until I learned it from Ruby. ❤
@@PeoplePlacesRocknRoll I read her autobiography & she made me laugh so much. Tragedy & comedy in equal measure. Her husband Ed Bye sounds like a lovely gem of a husband, she worked with him in the 80's & apparently they fought like cat & dog & when he wasn't on set one day she asked "Where is Ed?" & realized how much she actually liked him. They married in 1988 & have 3 children.
I really like Ruby Wax - so imagine my disappointment when I saw her at a Tory party fundraiser
"After a while they all look the same." 😄😄😄
Ruby I always have enjoyed you so much your a great girl
Godbless you ruby ,you came through so strong 😊
Much love to you Ruby Wax 🙏❤️
Great interviewer!
Love this
I love Ruby Wax. The Lady is a Legend.
I survived an abusive, violent father by being funny hoping that nobody would realise I was broken up inside..
Read her book years ago, also a documentary style programme with her parents in it.....bizarre people. Poor lass.
Saw Ruby live late 80s, Warwick University on Stage she was hilarious.
I loved watching her documentaries
ruby wax was so good at celebrity interviews cos she had an ability to seem like she was blowing smoke up there arse which the celebrities obviously loved while it being obvious she wasn't and brought something different out in them
Could do without the obnoxiously loud rewind sound effect at the start of the video
Hilarious, brilliant woman. Her books are superb
Wow, what an amazing Lady…😊 Wonder if her show will be down here in New Zealand?
Luv, luv, luv Ruby ❤ survivor of life!!
I was locked out, and had many friends that were put out of their houses. I don't know about any other time, but it was an 80's thing in Baltimore, MD. It was real and not something any of us will forgive.
I adore Alan Rickman, he went way too soon, didn`t deserve to get sick and die 😢
Alan Rickman was marvellous ❤
Cancel your TV licence.
I love Ruby Wax
I want to watch this whole episode. But can only listen to it on BBC. 😒🙄 Whats the point in filming it if we cant SEE it all?
Love Ruby, bit annoyed that she still looks so good
Love Ruby Wax 🥰
Love Ruby Wax❤
I'm sorry we never got to see more of her wonderful series, 'Lifestyles of the disgustingly rich and famous.'
It's a funny thing but I'm so used to seeing Ruby on telly and enjoy her work so much, I totally forget she has an American accent.
I was working in London in a former telephone exchange building that was being redeveloped as a tech hub. Ruby was on one of the floors, she was notorious for being rude and dismissive. I used to sit outside the building and occasionally she would go by, she is possibly one of the most arrogant people I have ever observed.
Thanks Ruby for talking abut mental illness. There is still such a terrible stigma for many.
My mum was, without doubt, a war hero of WW2 and achieved amazing things. However, there is no question she had PTSD & there were days of terrifying rage throughout my childhood. Of course, all this was hidden because no such things were accepted as being how a woman might be!
Rickman really got to the funny for Hans Gruber :-)
